We were SO fortunate to work with Anne/Blade Floral for our wedding in September. While I came in with ideas about a few aspects of our florals (i.e., I knew I wanted a lot of baby's breath), I needed a true pro with the eye and creativity to fully shape the direction for us. Anne and her team knocked it out of the park. Every detail was stunning; the baby's breath "clouds" blew us and our guests away. I can't recommend them enough!

Anne Kilcullen of Blade Floral and Event Design was the floral designer for both daughter's and my son's weddings. Our daughters wedding was at a Farm-to-Table venue. The floral design involved burgundy and blues with moss, birch branches, deer antlers. The feeling from the stunning ceremony arch and arrangements to the absolutely spectacular reception tablescapes and the whimsical place-card table was nothing short of enchanting. Our son's wedding was at a club on the water. The floral design was summery with a beautiful array of white flowers, greenery and a whisper of light blue. The overall feeling was ethereal. The graceful orchid filled ceremony arch, to the tiered floral with hanging candles place-card table to the soft flow of flowers and candles that graced the reception tables, each detail was perfect. Anne is respectful of the budget. When I had a last minute change she was able to incorporate it without an increase to the budget. She ensures the flower mock-up session is a collaborative experience, listening to your thoughts, adjusting and tweaking until the look you envision is achieved. Anne is able to capture your wedding vision and transform it with flowers better than you could have imagined.

Anne did a fantastic job with my wedding flowers. She really listened to my vision and was able to take some of my somewhat over-the-top ideas and turn them into realistic reality. She also really listened to what I had to say and then used her expertise to craft beautiful designs. She was very professional as well from the initial phone call, to the first in-person meeting, to the final meeting/design trail, to the wedding itself. My venue had somewhat loud and colorful chairs and she was able to create beautiful centerpieces that complimented them. My bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets were absolutely wonderful, as were the boutonnieres. The arch she created for the ceremony was exactly how I envisioned it, modern and romantic and lovely. And the remaining arrangements all fantastic as well. She worked within my budget and did a fantastic job, I highly recommend for brides not looking to spend an absolute fortune but still looking for quality, grace and class.

Anne Kilcullen was an absolute dream to work with. She was professional and sweet, and best of all her taste is impeccable and her vision was right on par with mine. She worked very hard to keep within our budget without compromising our needs. She was amazing and I can't wait to plan another party so I can use her services again!
