reception. They were quick to make adjustments when things changed. The band was absolutely incredible and was the number one thing we got compliments on from guests! They played a great variety of music types and made sure to play all of our favorite hits. I am so glad we worked with them and couldn't recommend the team and band enough!

After booking, we asked to meet well in advance of our wedding. We were ...
pushed off and told there would be a form to fill out 30 days prior to the wedding. We completed the form and didn't hear anything for two weeks. After reaching out again, we were told the form we took more than an hour to complete could not be retrieved from their website and we would need to resubmit the information.
We didn't receive a confirmed plan from Blair Entertainment until three days before the wedding and it included a critical mistake, which we were told "could be worked out the day of the wedding" (Brides, it cannot be worked out the day of the wedding...you are tied up with so many other things you won't even have an opportunity to talk with this vendor). While at my pre-wedding massage, I was thinking about them.
The only elements of our wedding day timeline that did not go smoothly were related to the band/emcee. We had an unusually long wait for our first dance to begin. We, again, had an embarrassingly long wait for our dance with our parents to begin...and once it concluded, the song looped back and played again.
I later learned a microphone was not in place for the ceremony and our officiant was forced to gesture to the sound tech as our bridal party was coming down the aisle. When my bridesmaid went to submit final payment during one of the band's breaks, no one knew the correct amount or who to make the check out to.
The quality of the band is great, but the business processes need significant improvement.

and of course Brent and I ranted and raved over RadioActive. Not only are they amazing singers and entertainers, and extremely easy to work with, but they truly seemed like they were having a blast and our group fed off of them! The dance floor was packed the entire time. From the first song to the very last! Thank you for helping us extend our evening with an extra hour. Our guests began throwing flowers to the band members at the end of the night! Too bad I can't post pictures on this review. We did not want the night to end! Everyone had a girl crush on the lead female singer, Brittany and the guys were a blast. I really cannot express how absolutely AH-MA-ZING Radioactive was! If we ever have a reason to have a band again, we are booking them! And, just as important as the actual performance, is the coordinating leading up to the wedding. Jon was flawless! We actually had a band who cancelled on us only a few short months before our wedding. Jon knew exactly how to relieve our stress right away. He was extremely responsive to all my questions and concerns. I remember him saying something like, leave that to us. Jon and Radioactive definitely carried out those words!

s Pavilion, my next daughter wanted the same band for the 2014 wedding at Westwood Country Club. They were awesome, they set up on time, dressed perfect, the mix was perfect from classics to today. They brought their own sound man who mastered the mix and volume. Everyone danced until the end. Even the grands were happy. They enhance the live musicians with tracks that enlarges the band on certain tracts flawlessly (horns, strings, etc) The band leader was the MC and he was superb in focusing the wedding on the bride and groom, family, and guests. My third daughter wants the band too, so we have booked them already for 2016 at Avon Oaks Country Club. I can honestly say there was not a single downside to hiring this band. Just book the band!

At our wedding reception I kept seeing a woman who just didn't belong. She was dressed like she was going to the club, which just didn't fit in at our venue (The Westin Columbus). She was drinking, dancing, and eating our food. It came to my attention later in the evening that she was telling my guests she was my yoga instructor- I don't do yoga. She was a WEDDING CRASHER! She had to be told to leave TWICE, once by security AND once my father in law. She even invited another friend who I intercepted at the entrance and also told to leave. It was insane.
After some research it was discovered that the lead singer of the band invited this person to our wedding!! She was aware the entire time that this person was eating our food, drinking our alcohol, and spinning stories to our guests. There are no words for how unprofessional this is.
Upon reaching out to the band they apologized and said they fired the lead singer. They also said they would reimburse us for what she ate and drank. After some back and forth they never ended up doing that. To me they should have paid for her food and drink. We considered legal action but decided against it as we didn't want our special day to continue to be tarnished by this experience. We chose to focus on the best parts of our day!
Full disclosure- I originally only reviewed this vendor on another website. I felt that was enough. Our wedding was on June 29,2013. Recently, two years later, I get a notice from the other website that the band was disputing my review! They must have thought after two years I'd be too lazy to provide proof of my experience. They were wrong. It reopened a can of worms. They may not like the bad review but facts are facts. Steer clear of this vendor. It's just not worth it.
