Blake has been doing our family photos for us for years; since the very beginning of his career. I had the pleasure of working with him for my wedding as well. I can not recommend him more. We were so comfortable with him. The bridal party loved him! He has creative shots, and his work is nothing short of amazing!

Blake was amazing! We had to move our wedding because of COVID . He let us change our date AND location with no extra charges. We ended up having a smaller private wedding and it worked out better than I could have imagined. He was very understanding and accommodating. I definitely recommend him!

We had our wedding at BayPointe Inn and had to plan our wedding from another state. Blake was extremely helpful with our dilemma and eased our apprehension about the photo shoot for the wedding day. We initially had a phone call with Blake to discuss the details of the day-of-wedding, pricing, shooting times, etc. Then we met with Blake in-person several months before the wedding at BayPointe Inn to preview the ceremony and reception areas. We had Blake and a second photographer and both were incredibly professional, personable, and took great shots! The wedding day went smoothly. Both photographers were on-time and ready to start working with us. Everything went as planned and the photographs turned out amazing!

We loved having Blake capture our big day! He is professional, organized, fun, relaxed, and helped things to run smoothly. We had no worries working with him! He is great with communication, quick to respond, and very upfront especially when it comes to timing of getting photos back. We would not hesitate to hire Blake again for future photography needs :)

Blake is fantastic and we highly recommend him! We live in another state but were married in West Michigan so all of our communication up to the day itself was through email. Immediately, even through email, Blake was incredibly responsive, friendly, and professional. We were married and had our celebration on two separate days and he was super willing to give us his time on both days. We had no set list or ideas of pictures to take, we just wanted visual memories of the events, so thankfully he had and came up with truly awesome ideas for poses and shots. We are so happy with the results! His prices are incredibly reasonable and he has a flexible payment policy. Blake is awesome and will not disappoint you!

Blake did an AMAZING job on my wedding and engagement photos, and was so much fun to work with!! His prices are extremely reasonable, and he is well worth every penny. He truly enjoys what he does, and his work shows it. He edits each and every shot, and I love that each photo is offered in color and black and white. I was very impressed with his adaptability; we wanted to get the traditional 'blue bridge shot', but there were too many other wedding parties trying to get the same shot. So, Blake found some really great angles that still incorporated the blue bridge in the background, but gave us very unique photos that were much different than the typical blue bridge shots that are frequently used by other photographers. I was very happy with the result. He was also a hit with not only the wedding party, but guests as well. (I got several compliments after the wedding). He really added to the overall atmosphere. I would highly recommend him not only for wedding or engagement pictures, but any other professional photos you may need. My husband and I will definitely be repeat customers for family photos in the future!!! Great job Blake!!

Had a really great experience doing a paparazzi proposal with Blake! He really helped me through all the process from dates, times, and recommended locations as I wanted to propose while on vacation in the area on the west side of Michigan. Overall, everything went great and she was definitely surprised. Pictures turned out very well and Blake made the photo shoot more fun and engaging than I thought it would be, considering the fact we were taking engagement photos. Just a great guy, as well as photographer, and I highly recommend his services, as we definitely plan on coming back in the future!

Blake is awesome!! I am living out of state and had to do all my research online and by phone to find a photographer. He was the third photographer that I talked to and believe me, I was planning on looking until I found the right one. Blake was so easy to talk to and he stayed in touch all the way up to our wedding date. We met one time before the wedding, although we didn't need to. He helped put together an initial timeline for our whole wedding. He arrived early to walk around the site and get a plan together, by the time we started taking pictures..it was non-stop. He had so many plans and ideas. We have no complaints with our photos at all! Thank you so much Blake!!

Blake was fantastic. We flew in from another state to have our wedding at Bay Pointe. He spoke with us over the phone at length about our event. When our day came he showed up early to speak with both of us and get a feel for what we wanted in person. For someone we had never met before we were obviously a little bit nervous. But he's great, set us at ease and took the photos we spoke about plus some. The thing with Blake is he seems more of a modern photographer. He pretty much takes photos all the time. He delivered almost 800 photos to us, half in color and half in black and white, all digitally via smugmug. The thing with Blake is it didn't end there. We needed to verify some resolution for printing on a 40x30 canvas and he helped with that. We wanted to have a specific photo and even though he offers no photoshopping as a one off he helped us with that. He wanted to see how the canvas turned out. He's personally invested in his work and thus you as a couple. I cannot say more about him without going on forever. If you can figure out printing an album and whatever photos you want on your own, Blake is the absolute best person to deal with. One thing to note is you do need to mention what shots you want. If you want those family shots then he will know about those. But if you want more just mention it. -Groom

We hired Blake to photograph our wedding. He showed up early, got pictures of the entire family, organized all of the group shots, and help to "choreograph" our individual pictures. He was very relaxed and it helped us stay relaxed as well especially with what was going on. I would definitely recommend Blake to any friends or family that is having pictures taken in West Michigan

Blake photographed our wedding and he did a fantastic job. The pictures were a brilliant mix of artistry, professionalism and whimsy. He captured all the beauty of the preparations and ceremony and all the fun of the reception. When we got engaged I thought finding a reasonably priced, high quality photographer would be impossible. When we met Blake I knew I had found it. From planning the day to the delivery of the photos Blake was amazing. He was easily available for questions and concerns, and made sure he captured every moment we asked him to. Blake was AMAZING as our Wedding Photographer! I was a little skeptical at first, as my husband found Blake via Craigslist, but once we met Blake I knew that he was PERFECT for what we wanted. Blake made a point to get to know us and understand what we wanted for our photos, he stayed in constant communication, answered all of our questions and was a pleasure to work with. On the day of the wedding, he showed up early in order to get a better sense of the venue, which shows his dedication to his work. Blake made it so easy and comfortable for us to get through our first look and pre-ceremony pictures. Our wedding party really enjoyed working with him and he was absolutely fabulous with our 1 year old! My hubby and I are not the best at posed smiles, however, Blake made it so much fun that our smiles are genuine! The pictures of the ceremony and reception captured the day beautifully! Blake's artistic eye made for some really great photos, whether they were posed shots, candid shots or pictures of the details, such as the decor. Our wedding photos helped us relive the day, as it went by so fast! Seeing the pictures allowed us to see the moments that we missed, but most of all seeing the love that was shared that day. We have received NUMEROUS compliments on our photographer, both on how he conducted himself at the wedding, as well as the final photos. Of course, I now recommend Blake to everyone! Looking back, I only have 1 regret about hiring Blake C. Photography for our wedding day.... I regret not hiring him for a longer period of time! If you are considering hiring Blake to photograph your wedding day, don't skimp on the time.... He is beyond worth it to hire him to capture the full day!
