Our experience at this beautiful Eastern Shore waterfront venue was nothing short of incredible. The setting is truly stunning - situated on the water with a gorgeous historic house that created the perfect backdrop for both the ceremony and the reception. The entire property felt peaceful, elegant and effortlessly romantic. Two months later and I am still hearing from guests about how absolutely perfect and picturesque the venue was. The hosts were amazing and took such good care of us for months leading up to the wedding.
If you are looking for a waterfront venue for any celebration that blends waterfront beauty and classic charm, this place is extraordinary. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect setting for such an important day. I highly recommend renting the property a few days before or even after. It was so nice to get comfortable in the space before the big day.
The time we spent at the Blake House for my engagement party felt like the perfect beginning of our journey down the aisle. In fact, Gerry and Matt made us feel like we might have been gearing up for a royal wedding, the way they catered and convenienced us through the weekend. First of all, the Blake House is simply a masterpiece. Our friends were in awe as we drove up the winding forest road to the main house. The interior was rom-com worthy, and to be honest, we took a lot of notes for our own home. Secondly, the service element, the chef preparing delicious meals, the server bringing us hors d oeuvres as we all floated in the pool, it was all just magical and filled with warmth and affection. We're now thinking of using the Blake House for our actual ceremony, that's how in love we are with this vendor and their service. I'm trying to think of honest critique or cons but I'm only drawing fond memories. <3 Thanks so much for our experience, Gerry!
