I wanted hair/make up that would travel to my location as I got married in April and wanted to minimize my time outside. Blake Rose Salon offered that service and did not disappoint. Hair- Harlow did an amazing job! I had an up-do for my bridal hair, an up-do for my MOH and curl for MOB. When I went in for my trial, I had a couple of pictures on the style I was going for. I have a lot of hair and after a great deal of curling and a whole ream of bobby pins; she had created a masterpiece that was right in line with my vision. After wearing the style all day I was able to take a couple of pictures and had one or two revisions I sent to her email. On wedding day we went over the pictures she and I took, the revisions, and she nailed it! I was so happy with my hair and it stayed all day and all night. The MOH and MOB looked equally as amazing and everything was done on time. Make-Up- Katrina made me look beautiful! When I went in for my trial she asked me how I normally wear my make up (heavy/light) what colors I favored and how I envisioned myself looking on wedding day. She created a look that I loved and it lasted forever. I went with the airbrush foundation; Katrina went over the pros and cons and it worked out really well for me. Even on wedding day, she recreated the look from our trial and it lasted the whole night-not even under-eye smudging! My sister doesn’t wear a lot of eye makeup and she gave my sister a detailed description of what she was doing so my sister could recreate the look on her own. I liked how the eyelashes and lipstick was included in my package. The lipstick I choose during my trial was different than what I wanted on wedding day; Katrina mixed a color for me and gave me a small sample for touch-ups. These women really go above and beyond to make their brides (and bride’s family in my case) look gorgeous. I would highly recommend their services for your special day.
