Had a bottle with my bridesmaid to celebrate asking her to be in my bridal party. We called it Blanc de Blah the rest of the night. Couldn't even finish a glass of it.
First, it isn't really blue. We saw it in an ad in a wedding magazine and were really disappointed with the real thing. It's more of a green color.
The taste was unpleasant - it tasted like chemicals. I usually like dry champagne , but this wasn't enjoyable. It tastes like they were scared the blueberries would make it sweet and covercompensated.
Won't be buying it for the wedding or any other occasion.
We had Blanc de Bleu in the bridal suite and it was simply perfect! My bridesmaids made a beautiful toast.
My girlfriends threw me a breakfast at Tiffany's bridal brunch with the Tiffany's blue as the theme color. This champagne not only fit the occasion perfectly it also tasted great. It is light and fruity so you could drink it alone with some fruit or in a great mimosa. It was the perfect addition to our Breakfast at Tiffany's brunch!
