Blended and Brewed

What Amanda and her staff did to our wedding was despicable, unethical, unprofessional, and embarrassing. I hope that no bride/groom or any customer should experience what we experienced for their wedding or event. Please take into consideration this review and if this platform allows you can certainly reach out to me for the full story with additional details. We paid in full prior to our wedding close to $1,000 for a tiered wedding pie instead of a tiered wedding cake, the cookie table setup including 500 cookies, and 15 pies. Initially she was cordial but 2 weeks prior to the wedding she rudely emailed with issues due to booking and confusion as to what we agreed to. The day of our wedding she sent her friends to deliver the cookies in large plastic bags that looked like garbage bags with no trays or any sort of setup, the pie tier was not built nor were there any decorations like we discussed (whipped cream, strawberries, etc.) and her "staff" left leaving small individual pies which were so incredibly small it was laughable and missing one of the layers, they were very rude to my family during setup, and Amanda's emails after our wedding were extremely inappropriate, rude, and malicious as she refused to acknowledge any mistakes on her end, refused to give any sort of refund for her mistakes, and was extremely unprofessional and quite alarming especially for a business owner for someone's wedding. Despite my attempts to be cordial and repeatedly asking for a refund to remedy her company's mistakes, including providing photos of the poor product/service and lack thereof, she has blatantly refused any sort of refund or any remedy stating I signed a no refund contract. I absolutely did I could understand this if the contract was followed by both parties but she did not uphold her end of the contract. It is completely unacceptable that she kept our money and even more so that she did not offer any sort of solution and quite the opposite as she put blame on me as it the mistakes were my fault. She did not abide by her own contract taking full advantage of us requiring us to pay in full before the wedding and not delivering the correct product and providing the service we agreed to. Make your own judgement when working with Amanda and her Blended and Brewed company but our family, friends and we will absolutely never work with them nor recommend them. A wedding is a joyous occasion and sadly, she and her company ruined a big part of our day and forever photos. If Amanda responds to this I will not participate in any more back and forth as I'm not interested in arguing or interested in any refund or remedy past this point.
