I had only had my makeup professionally done once before and really disliked how cakey and unlike myself I felt. This experience was the complete opposite. Isabella made me feel like myself, just elevated. The colors felt perfect, everything looked natural while still feeling special enough for my wedding day, and I genuinely have never felt more beautiful.
My hair was just as comfortable and long-lasting. We ended up going to a club after our reception, and somehow both my hair and makeup still looked great at 2 am! Our wedding planner even commented while we were taking photos after cocktail hour that my makeup still looked amazing at a point in the night when she often sees brides' looks starting to fall apart. I remember thinking it honestly looked just as good then as it had during the ceremony hours earlier.
The entire process leading up to the wedding was wonderful, too. My trial felt very true to the actual wedding-day experience, so I knew exactly what to expect and felt completely confident going into the day. The touch-up kit was also perfect and had everything I needed - I even made very good use of the makeup wipe tucked inside at the end of the night!
Beyond the actual hair and makeup, Isabella and her team were such a pleasure to have around on the wedding morning. One of my bridesmaids has been in more than five weddings over the last few years, and she told me afterward that they were by far the best hair and makeup crew she had ever worked with. She was especially impressed that we stayed ahead of schedule all morning and that everyone was so easy and enjoyable to be around for hours.

Communication with Isabella was easy (just make sure you reply to the message thread within the account once you are connected and don‘t follow up within The Knot chat) and she let me add another bridesmaid for make-up just about 2 weeks prior to the wedding.
Joanna and Mariah were my make-up team on my wedding day and everything worked seamlessly.
I was not sure if I needed a trial, but let me tell you, it makes you so much more comfortable on your wedding day. Joanna and Mariah did a wonderful job with the trial, only a few slight adjustments were needed. When I was wearing my look for a second time for my wedding, I felt so comfortable.
Joanna and Mariah were on time on my wedding day and the schedule worked out with some minor changes. They even accommodated one extra request and put some lashes on an extra bridesmaid who had not signed up for H & MU before.
I cannot put into words how beautiful I felt on my wedding day. I had make-up on, but still felt like myself. My hair looked great and Mariah really put a focus on my eyes, just as I had asked for.

During my trial, Isabella told me to make sure to tell them if there was anything I'd like to change for the wedding day and that was extremely comforting to know that I could communicate that to them without any awkwardness. I did in fact go with a different look for my hair because after doing my trial I realized that I definitely wanted to work with my natural curls and Isabella was so wonderful and understood what I meant by feeling more comfortable with the volume of my natural curls! So she worked with my natural curls for the wedding day and I absolutely loved the way it turned out. Joanna with my make-up was also amazing and able to accommodate a couple of changes to the look I wanted for my big day. She was also super great working with my mom who really had no idea how she wanted her make-up. In total it was 5 of us who got our hair & make-up done with Bliss Bridal and everyone looked absolutely beautiful. I suppose we all have a vision of how we want to look on our big day and the weird societal pressure of living up to being THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ON YOUR MOST SPECIAL DAY is...too much, frankly. And a lot of stupid pressure.
That being said -- Mariah did my makeup and honestly, I felt SO myself and like a really dope version of myself. Confident. Not overdone. Still ME -- just elevated.
She also had the BEST energy. So calm. So present. My entire bridal party loved her and now we all want to hire her for our red carpet/acting events. Ha!
Louie did my hair and honestly, god bless her because -- I have a LOT of THICK hair and I wanted it pulled back in a bun and she not only managed to do it -- but to make it look elegant and glam and simple and IT STAYED ALL NIGHT. AND I DANCED A LOT Y'ALL. Ha!

They showed up on time and completed hair and makeup for each individual on schedule. We had Isabella, Mariah, and Daisy - each were so talented and made us feel beautiful! Isabella was quick to respond and very easy to work with from start to finish. These ladies are not only great at what they do, but are fun to chat with and give you all the suggestions/recommendations if you're not sure what you're doing (like me lol!). My girls were so impressed by this team (even the girls that didn't opt to get make up/hair done regretted not doing so, but the stylists were so nice and made time to help them out a bit!).
