essed. I was a little difficult when it came to making a decision on if a liked a shape of a dress or not. Amanda already knew what I was going to pick before I tried on the first dress! She also was amazing at entertaining my entourage but making sure she stuck to what I wanted and not what they wanted. She also had no problem telling them that!

on so I’m sure that made it harder for her to find dresses. But don’t fear, she read my mind, and found the most amazing dress for me!! I could not ask for a better day. I would recommend Bliss Bridal in Fairhope over and over again. It was a very special day.

I got married on March 19 and my dress was like it was made for my church in Nashville. Their team made me feel so special throughout the process and made it so easy to pick up my dress when it came – and it even came in a month early!

had a great amount of selection too. When purchasing the dress they went over the details of the dress. They went over the color of the dress, the designer, fitting options and any questions I had. I personally do not live in Alabama and they gave me the option of shipping the dress. I was very appreciative of them for allowing that option for out of staters. I highly recommend Bliss bridal to anyone.

s completely eviscerated the moment I arrived. Not once did the consultant offer me her unsolicited opinion on my dress, nudge me in a different direction, ask me to try on dresses I was not interested in, or push me towards a purchase. The consultant was just involved enough to offer her expertise and keep the appointment moving, but did not interfere in any way. A lot of bridal salons offer short appointment times and don't allow the bride to peruse the store looking for a dress, but rather just have the consultant provide her with some options. This was not the case at Bliss. I tried on as many dresses as I wanted, picked most of them myself, and was never rushed. The consultant offered a few choices that I missed, but allowed me to go through all the gowns myself. Lastly, I did NOT think I was going to purchase a dress at Bliss. With the relatively (emphasis on "relatively") low price point and small storefront, I thought their selection would be uninspired. However, I found the most gorgeous wedding gown I have ever seen at Bliss. I have cancelled my future appointments in Atlanta and Miami because I am 100% confident that I will not find anything to compare to this dress. All in all, don't judge a book by its cover. Small boutique does not equal pushy salespeople or a dull collection of gowns. All they need is one gown that you love, right?

. I expected my gown search to take many salons and be my longest decision as this was always the case with prom, etc in the past. However, she just "got me" instantly and found exactly what I was looking for. I decided to book my alterations with them despite being slightly pricy as they would know the dress better. I booked in May for a December alteration. A few weeks before, I was contacted saying the seamstress no longer did first appointments and I would need to reschedule. As I am a nurse, I had traded shifts just to get this date off, it was incredibly difficult to find a new date as the new person I was to see only came to the shop certain dates. This ended up being the case the entire time. I felt very mislead as they indicated the usual person would be back and I could go any day. Trying to book times with them when it's only certain days in the month and only on weekdays is incredibly difficult with a full time job. He did a fantastic job in the end so I was happy, but scheduling is very difficult here and I probably would've gone elsewhere for the alterations portion if I could do it over again.

hey did not hesitate to say they could alter dresses differently and add lace sleeves (one of my preferences). All in all, my entire experience was better than I could have expected! I'm now even more excited to walk down the aisle!!

in house seamstress, Alexandria. During my first appointment I was in and out of my dress in less than 10 minutes and the seamstress barely spoke 2 sentences to me the entire time. I had a few questions about the fit of the top of the dress as I’m a bit small there and the dress was very oversized and she didn’t answer any of them rather just kept saying she would take in the straps (only one of the problems). I came back for my second fitting and the dress length wise was great but the bustle was poorly done (as confirmed later by a seamstress I had to go to at another shop to have my dress fixed) and the top now fit worse than before. When I asked if the bustle could be brought up higher because it dragged way more than it should’ve she just said I can’t do anything about it —all that needed to be done was have the buttons raised up. And when I asked about the fitting of the top -the straps were way too tight and dug into my arms but the bust area now stuck out because it was too big -all she said was she could make the straps even tighter. I did not allow anymore alterations to be done to my dress by this seamstress, but unfortunately had already paid $450 for simple fixes (also later confirmed by a different seamstress) because I was told I had to pay in full before any alterations were done. That should’ve been my first red flag, but hopefully no one else makes the same mistake I did of letting her work on your dress. I had to take it somewhere else where I was charged less money for twice as much work to be done as the first seamstress did, yet I paid 1/4 of the price and was met with experienced professionals who were perplexed by the alterations that were done to my dress as parts of it had to be completely reworked due to the inexperience of the seamstress at Bliss Bridal. My advice, buy your dress there if you like, but absolutely do not get your alterations done there! You will be out a large sum of money and will likely have to spend more to have it fixed somewhere else anyway.

ting me make my own decision! The team there was incredibly kind, helpful, and really listened to me and my mom. They even let me facetime with my Dad to get his opinion which really meant a lot to me. I ended up sleeping on it, and came back the next morning to get the dress I couldn't stop thinking about! I got married in Ohio so when the dress came in my mom picked it up and they facetimed with me to show that everything was perfect! I couldn't take advantage of the in-house tailoring being out of state, but my seamstress here kept saying how great the quality was and how it was true organza, and thought I paid at least DOUBLE what I paid. She was seriously impressed with the quality and craftmanship, and I was so impressed with my whole experience! I would recommend to any girl to give Bliss a try no matter your price range to see how great these ladies truly are and how much they really care about you and your day!! I can't thank them enough!!

In a small town. I paid for my dress in full otherwise I would not of worn it. Seems like it’s more about the money the bride. They do not care bout how you feel after your credit card is swiped.
