My review for the experience buying a dress at Bliss would be 5 stars: The experience shopping was amazing. My consultant was very helpful and listened to what I was looking for to help me find the perfect dress for me. I would recommend buying a dress from this store. The one negative note is that I ordered my dress in October and was told it would take 6 months to arrive, but didn't hear anything from them about the status as we passed the 6 month mark and didn't actually get the dress in until about 9 months. This review is mostly to say that if you get your dress here, do not get it tailored in-house! My dress needed very few alterations; I just needed it hemmed and wanted to have the train taken off to make the dress one length. I live out of town so had to fly in for my first, second, and final fittings; which the tailor knew and was actually very nice about helping schedule around. Which is to say that despite the poor work she did, she does seem like a very nice woman. However, the pins had fallen out so no work was done between my first and second fitting, which was frustrating because it was a waste of a flight and time off work for me to come in that extra time. The tailor also had me sign something to confirm I wanted the train taken off to make sure I understood that this was irreversible, which I understood and was happy to do. But after signing and confirming that I indeed wanted it all one length, she "took it upon herself" to leave a short sweep train. I only found this out at my final fitting, with only a week to fix it. In addition to this sweep, the front was still too long and I was tripping over the dress. At that point, I didn't trust the work here to have any faith that they could fix in a week what they couldn't do correctly over multiple months since my first fitting. I ended up taking the dress to another tailor and paying for a rush alteration before my wedding day. In one week, the other tailor did exactly what I asked for and made the dress the perfect length all around. On top of everything else, the other tailor told me that the hemming Bliss had done on my dress was in fact uneven (in addition to being too long). Lastly, the tailor is cash-only. I only note this because she never mentioned it to me before my final fitting when I had to pay, so I showed up unprepared.

I absolutely loved my experience with Bliss Bridal!! As a plus size bride there was a level of dread when it came to wedding dress shopping- so many shops don’t carry plus sizes, or claim to but only have lower sizes in store and I heard horror stories about poor treatment which only added to my anxiety. I planned to order online but it felt so unfair to not have the experience of trying on dresses with my mom like so many other brides. I searched in local groups and saw people of every size recommending Bliss Bridal and knew I wanted to at least try! In the end I only went to one other shop “to be sure” and ended up right back at Bliss! I was helped by Laura during my first visit who, like everyone else there, was so wonderful! The experience felt so special and they were so accommodating and sweet! They were transparent with pricing and didn’t bring any options outside my budget without asking first, and while they were honest in letting me know they don’t hold dresses I never felt pressured to buy. I was able to try on so many options and ended up walking out with the dress of my dreams off the rack the same day! The shop is gorgeous, they really make you feel like a VIP, and their sizes are so inclusive! And they have a great variety of dresses for your wedding party too! The entire experience was amazing from start to finish and I highly recommend them!

Bliss was the first bridal shop I visited on my wedding dress journey. I had gone for a Martina Liana trunk show and was blown away by their cute/quaint boutique. I didn’t know at the time, but I had actually found my dress during that trunk show! I ended up visiting 4 shops in total, but found my way back to Bliss and said “YES!” to my dream dress! The girls there went above and beyond to get a sample of my dress back in stores so that I could have my “yes” moment. Karen (the seamstress I worked with) was absolutely WONDERFUL! We became friends after all of our appointments together and she was a huge support in my small weight loss journey. Overall, my experience has been a great one, and I’m forever grateful that this shop brought me to my dream dress!

Bliss was absolutely incredible!! I'm so happy I made my first wedding dress appointment with them! I had no idea what to expect, because I've never tried on wedding dresses before, so I wanted to go in with an open mind. Before my appointment, I was so worried that I wouldn't find a dress that I loved, or a style that I loved on me, but I couldn't have more wrong! The shop was so beautiful, Marley was the greatest consultant, she was funny, kind, patient and so helpful throughout the entire process. She made me feel so comfortable and understood, I was so glad I got to work with her! I never once felt rushed or pressured, and we found the dress of my dreams!!! I would recommend Bliss to absolutely anyone - you can tell that they all love what they do! They made buying a wedding gown such a magical experience, and one that I'll remember forever! Can't wait to wear my dream dress on my big day in 11 months!!!!

I found Bliss Bridal after stumbling across the 'All Who Wander' dress line and noticed they were doing a trunk show. I went with two friends and worked with Laura who was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, she was high energy, very enthusiastic, and really applied herself to ensuring I found the DRESS. She was mindful of my budget and ensured the whole crew was involved. I was able to 'say yes to the dress' after about an hour of try-ons!

Bliss bridal salon was amazing! Everyone was so kind and sweet there and I got to pick out the dresses that I I wanted to try on. They helped me find a belt and veil as well. By far the best bridal salon we went to and would recommend to anyone to go there!

I am so glad I went to Bliss Bridal to find my perfect wedding dress and veil. They listened to what I was looking for, brought me several different options to try on, gave me real, honest opinions, and let me try and retry each dress until I found the perfect one. My guests and I truly felt like royalty the entire time we were in the salon. We are thrilled that Bliss Bridal was able to provide such a special part of our big day!

Bliss Bridal is by far the best salon in Buffalo. I cannot recommend them enough! Each gown is more beautiful than the next and they even have an in house seamstress! I was torn between two gowns because they were both so beautiful. Bliss also gets new styles in all the time so they are constantly up to date. I cannot be happier with my gown. It made me feel so beautiful.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience shopping for the wedding dress of my dreams. When I first looked at dresses, businesses had just started opening again post-pandemic. The staff was so friendly and helpful and gave me so many options to look at with the designer I was looking for. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect dress to fit our coastal wedding in Maine, and can't say enough about how friendly the staff was. My experience with Bliss was absolutely incredible. Going into dress shopping, I was a nervous wreck. Being a plus size girl can make it difficult for me to find something that fits properly AND that I feel good in. Bliss Bridal is hands down, without question, the best bridal shop in Western New York. I have spent the last couple months searching for my wedding dress. I tried on dozens of bridal dresses around Buffalo, but it wasn't until I went to Bliss that I found the most quality, high-end, angelic, elegant, yet sexy dress. What's more, the owner was incredibly generous and reasonable with the pricing. If you are looking for a dress that is high quality, classy, and stylish -- I can't recommend Bliss Bridal enough.

I’ve shopped at both the bridal shop for a prom dress and boutique for all my summer & fall essentials and I’m in love with it all!! Everything is so cute and the staff is so helpful and they’re all so sweet!

I had gone to many bridal salons before going to Bliss but found that this shop was by far my favorite. The shop itself is beautiful and had a very upscale feel to it. The staff was very relaxed and let my bridal party and I take our time looking at dresses on the floor (which was not my experience in other shops). We then went into our own private dressing/sitting room where I tried on countless dresses. Each dress was so beautiful and reasonably priced. Jessica, the owner, was so knowledgeable and patient during the entire process. She even let me leave the shop and go to lunch before I came back to try on my favorite dresses again and make my final decision. I can't say enough good things about this shop or it's staff!

Absolutely incredible service! My wedding is a year and six months away so I had absolutely no intentions on purchasing a dress at my first bridal appointment. I simply wanted to get an idea of a style I liked and what I didn’t like. I insisted to my mom and sister that I didn’t want to be pressured into buying a dress- even if I loved it. Well THAT didn’t happen!! Lori, my consultant, was so patient with me and never made me feel rushed, uncomfortable, pressured, or stuck me in any gowns over my budget. She made the experience so memorable and listened to every concern, detail and question I had. She had amazing ideas on how to make the dresses more unique to me and when I asked for more sparkle she delivered!! Her honesty and chipper, fun, personality was so genuine you can really tell she loves what she does! The first dress I tired on was THE ONE. And IS the one!! We all loved it but we had to keep trying as this was my first time trying on gowns and I needed to explore. I was so tossed between the first dress I had tried on and the last. I was ready to give it time to think about and then another consultant (Jess) walked by my fitting room and saw my hesitation. She offered her advice and asked me questions about each dress and without any more hesitation my answer was crystal clear, the first dress was meant to be! I cannot get over the level of high quality costumer service I experienced today. The kind of service you would never get at a big chain bridal shop. I’m so unbelievably excited to be back in my gown and can’t stop thinking about it! I can’t wait to pick out accessories and see the dress perfectly fitted to me! Bliss has made my fairy tale wedding come to life and I couldnt be more thrilled!!!

Finding the perfect gown at Bliss Bridal was very easy! They have a beautiful boutique in downtown Hamburg and had many dresses to choose from, with designers I had been eyeing for months. I decided on my dress relatively quickly because of how unique it was and how nicely it fit. I also really enjoyed working with the seamstress Karen. Her work was high quality, she gave me tips on how to get in and out of the dress, took pictures of me in the dress for my Mom, and was very timely in making her alterations. Thank you for the great service (thanks Ally!) and I would highly recommend Bliss Bridal to anyone looking for a wedding dress in the Buffalo area!

The staff here really listen to you. This was the 3rd bridal shop I went to and they brought me dresses that were at or under my price point (including taxes, etc.) They did not push me to make any additional purchases, but offered me a discount to purchase accessories of any kind with in a certain time frame. The seamstress really listed to what I wanted as well. I have a very small bust line and I am short. She walked me through every step of the alterations and gave me multiple options for filling out the chest. They were so kind and caring that I ended up getting my rehearsal dinner dress from them, and my mom got her dress for the wedding too!

My daughter went to several salons in the area and ultimately purchased her dress and all her accessories at Bliss Bridal. Everything about this salon is top notch and my daughter loved her dress and loved the entire experience. It's everything she wanted her dress and dress shopping to be. The salon is beautiful, with private fitting areas with seating to provide a special, intimate experience for the bride and her guests. The staff is patient, accommodating and knowledgeable. Their selection is excellent, and everything we ordered came on time as promised. Finally, they have recommended seamstresses who meet you at Bliss Bridal for your alternations, so your entire experience from start to finish is at Bliss....and it is truly a wonderful experience.

Had a great time finding a dress here! I did not know what kind of dress I wanted or I was looking for and Jessica brought in all sorts of different dresses for me to try so I could pin point what dress I would love! After 2 trips to Bliss and very patient friends and family I found my dress! Love Bliss and Jessica!! Thank you again !

This shop is amazing! Jessi, the owner is so dedicated and sweet!. She helped me pick out my dream dress! The store is super nice, clean, and well organized. There are so many beautiful options to choose from. I can’t wait until my dress comes in!

Bliss Bridal is amazing. The store is beautiful. I had low expectations that I would find my dress during my first appointment. I thought I would be picky about the dresses and not like anything. I ended up buying a dress at that first appointment! The woman that helped pick out dresses for me was wonderful and so nice. Everyone there is friendly and they all seem like they love their job! The dress is so beautiful and they really know what they're doing. I was so happy with my entire experience with this store. I did use the seamstress that works out of the salon and I thought she was great too. My mom bought her dress at the boutique Bliss opened behind the bridal store. She was so happy with her experience too and the dress she bought looked so much nicer than the dresses she tried on at department stores and it was less expensive than the other options she had in mind. They are true professionals and I'm lucky to have such a beautiful bridal store right in my hometown :)

My experience at Bliss was unmatched, from the moment I walked in to try on dresses, to the moment I walked out with my dress ready to get married! You can tell that every single person at Bliss loves brides, and they are all so supportive and helpful. Their main goal is to find you the dress of your dreams, and they did for me! They made my appointments easy and fun, they were endlessly patient with me and helped me when I felt indecisive, they helped me find a veil that looked amazing with my dress, and their seamstress Karen worked her magic to make my dress fit like a glove. I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day, and all of my guests told me they have never seen such a stunning dress. I don't know why Buffalo brides would go anywhere else. Go to Bliss!

After going to multiple dress boutiques, I finally said yes at Bliss! Lori was such a pleasure to work with, and understood everything I was looking for! The staff here is amazing and makes you feel great when you find that dress! Everybody is so so sweet and completely accommodating. We had my 3 year old nephew and Lori was absolutely great with him! I cannot say enough amazing things about Bliss Bridal! Finding my wedding dress was probably the most important part of the planning process for me and I had been to a couple places before going to Bliss and my goodness I am happy that I came. I loved that you were able to pull dresses from the showroom and I had a couple I saw on Instagram that were also found for me to try on. Well, they always say it’s the first one and for me this was true. I tried on a dress I wasn’t too thrilled with on the hanger, however, it was so beautiful, my maid of honor and mother instantly cried when they saw me in it! I still tried on a few more because let’s face it, it was such a fun experience but I never felt rushed or forced into a decision and as I kept going back for the first dress I knew it was the one. Appointments were always available for fittings and everyone was always so pleasant and accommodating. No matter what style of dress you’re interested in, they have it! Obviously this was an extra special experience for me since I personally know Jessica and Allison, but I think I can honestly tell future brides that they are in the best hands with some of the nicest women I have ever met and are true professionals who just want to see brides at their happiest looking their most beautiful! Go to bliss and you will not be disappointed.

The ladies at Bliss Bridal truly made my dress shopping experience a wonderful one! I wasn’t really looking forward to dress shopping – as I was nervous as to what might look good on me and nervous about having the attention on myself! We walked in and even though they were running a bit late with their last appointment, they told me to start looking around and pulling styles I was interested in trying on. They got me into a room soon enough, and we started putting on dresses. I quickly realized a few styles that were definitely not me, and narrowed down my choices! By the end it was between two similar dresses – one on the sample sale rack and the other not. The ladies were so patient with me, letting me try these two dresses on multiple times while I took time to decide! Even though I was their last appointment of the day, I never felt rushed or pushed in any way! They made me feel confident when I didn’t have much confidence myself. I ended up going with the sample that was on sale, for a great deal!! I have nothing but good things to say about this business, I am so happy I chose to come here to find my dress! I will be back to shop at their new boutique!

I worked with Allie at Bliss Bridal and she helped me find the perfect dress! This was the 4th place I went to try on dresses and I was getting nervous I wasn't going to find something I loved but Allie did a great job putting me in different types of dresses to help narrow down the style that I liked and helped me find a dress I loved! I worked with the seamstress Karen that they recommended and could not have been happier. Karen does an amazing job altering the dress until it fits perfectly! If you get your dress at Bliss, I would highly recommend using Karen for any alterations!

I honestly never write reviews for anything, but I felt like I had to because buying my dress at Bliss was truly an amazing experience. The shop itself is so cute, I felt like I was in a boutique in NYC. My consultant was seriously so so nice. She looked at pictures of what I wanted and found a ton of dresses for me to try on! I had already been to 2 dress stores prior to this and was feeling kind of overwhelmed that I would not find a dress that I truly loved. I stayed there over an hour after they closed, still trying on dresses. I found the perfect one!! Bliss bridal was also able to stay within my price range! They gave me and my girls free champagne and a bunch of other goodies! I am so happy to be a Bliss Bride!

The best dress buying experience! Went in to shop for a wedding dress with my sister-I wish I had the same experience she had when I bought my dress. The staff, the dresses, and the overall experience was amazing! I have recommended Bliss to many friends since, and they had the same experience.

Look no further than the ladies at Bliss Bridal! When I went into Bliss with my team of bridesmaids, I thought I knew exactly what I wanted. Boy was I wrong. The wonderful ladies at Bliss helped me look beyond my insecurities and helped me find a dress that turned out to be perfect for me. And the best part - it can from their secret back room of off-the-rack discount options! My girls told me that my face just lit up when I put this one on! I was still apprehensive because it was small and being off the rack, I didn't have the option to order a closer size. I didn't need to worry, because their seamstress Karen works miracles! She went above and beyond the call of duty and made sure that I looked and felt my best. She even came in on her off days so that we could get it done on time and work with my schedule. These ladies are top-notch and I highly recommend Bliss Bridal to everyone!

I highly recommend checking out Bliss Bridal for your wedding! They were my first bridal appointment and I found the dress there, although had an appointment already scheduled elsewhere, so I continued with going to the one. I ended up trying on the same dress at the second bridal shop I went to, although I ended up calling Bliss Bridal back to order the dress from them because their service was so phenomenal. They also have a seamstress in house for alterations which is very convenient.

So unlike most brides, I dreaded wedding dress shopping! it was at the bottom of my list until I saw a designer I had been looking at was having a trunk show at bliss. I decided to make an apt and bite the bullet and boy am I so glad I did!! Bliss was easy to contact and ready for me and my group as soon as we walked in. I left after trying on 5 dresses with the dress of my dreams. I can not say enough good things about BLISS! I am so happy to be a Bliss Bride!!

LOVE BLISS!!!! Jessi and her gang are amazing!!!! I went to a few stores before Bliss and I just wasn't happy with anything feeling like I would never found THE DRESS. But I seen Bliss at a Bridal show and decided to go there and THANK GOD I did. I experience was amazing. They knew what would look good on my body shape. My first visit I tried my dress but I just had to think about and made two more appointments and tried on the same dress with a few other dresses until I finally said yes to the dress. They were not push for you to buy they want you to make sure that it truly is your dress. So if anyone looking for a dress go to Jessi and her gang. I went to 3 different bridal boutiques and Buffalo and Bliss blew me away!! Gigi was amazing and so patient with us. She helped me find the perfect dress from their large selection. Anyone looking for knowledge and patience in their dress search needs to go to Bliss Bridal!

I had the best experience at Bliss Bridal, and of course, found the perfect dress! Both Jessie and Allie were a huge help at my 3 (!) appointments. The quality of gowns at Bliss is amazing, and they really carry exquisite options. I loved that I was able to explore the floor and pick out dresses myself, but then Jessie and Allie found dresses I unexpectedly loved based on their observation of my style/preferences. Additionally, there was no pressure to wrap up an appointment, since they will keep working with you until the customer is done. I would recommend Bliss to any future bride, but especially those that are looking for a dress that you won't find anything similar at other boutiques!
