Wedding planning is known for being overwhelming and stressful, but thanks to Shannon, my experience was the complete opposite. Shannon did an amazing job making our daughter's wedding day perfect! She is detail oriented, organized, and on top of the schedule for the wedding day. She made great recommendations for vendors and handled communication with them as the wedding approached. Our daughter lives out of state and Shannon worked with her remotely and made herself available when she came into town prior to the wedding. We would definitely recommend Bliss Events!
I can’t say enough about how amazing Shannon and her team was in getting our daughter’s wedding 💒 to be the dream wedding she and her fiancé were hoping for. She was responsive and I can’t say enough about how she kept everything in time the day of the wedding.

Shannon was a complete lifesaver!! My husband and my mother and I were so overwhelmed with getting everything organized for our wedding, and we didn't have anyone other than ourselves to coordinate with vendors and make sure everything ended up where it should be the day of. Shannon was able to come in very late in the process, got up to speed and made it so we didn't have to worry about a thing on our big day! Everything went off without a hitch, and she was a joy to work with to boot! I HIGHLY recommend her!
Shannon is amazing! We couldn't have asked for a better Wedding Planner! She definitely knows all of the ins and outs of planning a wedding! She was accessible to the bride, groom, and the mother of the bride throughout the planning process! She gave helpful advice, shared helpful tools, and she has wealth of knowledge about the different vendors associated with a wedding. On the day of the wedding, Shannon and her team are organized and ready to make sure the event goes exactly as planned.
Shannon's detailed approach really helped my daughter and I coordinate who was doing what. when we let a couple of the vendor decisions wait too long, Shannon was able to step in and bring vendors to the table through a clearly vast network of professionals in the area. Her advice and support were invaluable , including the day of detailed timeline. She always kept her cool, responded quickly, and never admonished us for not acting sooner even when she had warned us we needed to act. The vendors she pointed us to were top notch professionals. I originally brought her in to consult on having the wedding in my large backyard, and she definitely pointed out some things I had not considered. The day went great and I so appreciate both Shannon and Kim (our day of coordinator).

Shannon was our event director for our foundations Gala and was a huge help to us. She made our biggest event/fundraiser manageable and took a lot of stress off of our plate. We plan on using her again in the future.
Shannon has been exceptional in helping us with planning our wedding. Shannon and I was worked together on several events in the past so when it came to planning my wedding she was my first and only call! She has so many different options of how you can work together and really helped me through the whole process when I felt behind and when I felt like I was forgetting something. The day of… I can’t even explain how awesome it was to LITERALLY not worry about anything bc she knew the plan and had it all under control. It was amazing. 5 stars highly recommend!!!
Shannon was a wonderful resource throughout the entire wedding planning process. She’s very responsive, and was happy to weigh in on my thousands of little logistical questions. She also helped us come in UNDER budget and kept everything on time. Her organization and timeline software made coordination a breeze as well. Shannon was on top of things for my wedding from the very beginning. She always responded to texts and emails from me quickly and always had a answer for when I needed something. She made my wedding run so smoothly from hair and make up all the way to the end of the reception I didn’t need to worry about a thing. It was an absolute joy working with her and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing a wedding coordinator, she’s the woman for the job.

Shannon was technically our day of wedding planner, but she worked with us for so many hours BEFORE the day of the wedding. Shannon is such a gem. For a very relaxed bride like me, Shannon kept me on task and set goals for me in a very patient way. If you need a coordinator, Shannon Fehr is your girl!!! She made our day smooth, fun, flawless and beautiful! I can’t express enough how thankful I am to have her by my side throughout my wedding planning process! Shannon came highly recommended by a friend and she did not disappoint! She met with us on multiple occasions to go over plans, walked through our venue to help answer any questions we had. She makes the BEST day of timeline that all of my vendors loved! Shannon did a wonderful job helping our daughter plan her wedding. The week of the wedding we had a small set back and she took care of it and got the situation resolved. The day of the wedding she made sure the wedding stayed on schedule. Everyone has told us it’s the best wedding they have been to and how gorgeous everything was and the venue was amazing!!
Shannon did a great job keeping the wedding moving. She helped make the timeline and the other vendors know what was happening without bothering the bride and groom. She helped decorate and made sure the bride and groom where happy. When problems arose she handled them in a very professional manner.

Melinda was FANTASTIC!!! She was the first vendor we hired and it was the best decision we ever made. She was super easy to work and communicate with, and was there with me every step of the way providing so much knowledge & guidance. It was so comforting to know that I could reach out to her anytime with any question or concern via phone/text/email and she always responded promptly and helped me with whatever I needed. Her vendor recommendations and tips/tricks for helping me stay on budget were HUGE!! Without her I would have been a stressed out mess throughout the planning process. Melinda lives in Louisville and we live in & were married in the Lexington/Georgetown area, but she made a point to be at every vendor meeting and even came out to my house multiple times to plan.
When our wedding day came she was totally on it and took care of literally everything. My friends/family and I didn't have to lift a single finger and were able to truly enjoy our special day. She made sure everything ran on time and seamlessly. This will be my only marriage, but, if I had to do it again, I would hire her again in a heartbeat!
Shannon was amazing! We live in Nashville and needed help to plan our wedding in Louisville - with guests coming from all over the country. She arranged for us to meet with multiple vendors on our first visit and they were all fabulous options! My husband and I hired Shannon to help us plan our wedding at the Frazier History Museum in Louisville, KY. After our wedding this past August I can honestly say hiring Shannon was one of the best decisions (if not the best decision) we made in the planning process. While my husband is originally from Louisville, we currently reside in CA. Shannon made the seemingly insurmountable task of planning a cross country wedding feel easy, going above and beyond to coordinate arrangements and help us select absolutely amazing vendors for each area of our wedding.
Throughout the process Shannon paid attention to all the little details and on our wedding day she worked diligently to ensure everything ran smoothly and was perfect for our special day (improvising when necessary and even enlisting help from her husband).
I absolutely loved working with and getting to know Shannon over the past year and a half. We will definitely miss her and our regular interaction now that our wedding is over. I do not know what I would have done if it weren't for Shannon. She made our day absolutely flawless. I had every intention of doing every single detail by myself but I am glad I decided to hire her because she really made my day stress free. I had Shannon for 30 days out but she was so helpful and honestly started working with me WAY before the "30 days." We honestly couldn't have asked for a better coordinator.
Shannon Fehr was so helpful. We used her for the 30-day out services because we had done so much of the "big" stuff already. At first I really thought we did not need a coordinator - I was wrong!! We had a guest list of about 300 so she was very helpful with all the final details and the logistics of the rehearsal and wedding day. She met us to get items for the reception set-up and then coordinated with all the vendors to ensure the set-up was as we had discussed. The night of the wedding she worked with the DJ and photographers to keep us on schedule. She also took care of all the clean up and delivered our personal items to us the day after. She even handled small things that popped up - like finding seating for some of our family that got to the reception later due to pictures. She handled it quickly and helped smooth things over with them. She creates a google drive document that is then shared with everyone and is very helpful. It has the timeline, list of things to remember, music list, etc. all in one place. We very much appreciated all she did for us and she was easy to work with. Thanks Shannon!
Shannon went above and beyond for our special day! The moment I met her I knew that everything would be taken care of and with utmost detail. The weather turned out to be quite the mess for our outdoor wedding but Shannon handled it without a hitch. She coordinated our 10336467 vendors and went to plan B flawlessly. Thanks to her, I was able to enjoy the day and spend it with my family and friends rather than running around like a chicken with my head cut off. My friends, family, and new husband are all STILL raving about how hard she worked and how she truly made our day. She was in my corner every second of the way and I am unbelievably grateful. Melinda at Bliss Events is an absolutely incredible coordinator and wonderful person! I ended up hiring Melinda at the last minute because of some unexpected changes and she came through 100%-- she took care of our timeline, floorplan, and even made a visit to our destination wedding venue to get familiar with it in advance. I planned the majority of our wedding, but felt that it would be helpful to have a day-of coordinator so that my family and I could relax and enjoy. Melinda made our wedding day go so smoothly and took all the stress off my shoulders. She took care of setting up and breaking everything down on the day of. She is so prompt and supportive in all communications. Highly recommend her!
Melinda was a godsend not only on my wedding day but the many months leading up to it. She dealt with all my crazy questions and ideas and was always enthusiastic and prompt with her responses. I had a few hiccups the day of regarding my venue and I wasn't bothered once throughout the day because Melinda was on top of it! She also sat with us and went through many, many honeymoon options and sent us on the perfect honeymoon!

I could not imagine my day going so smoothly without Melinda. She arrived the night before and put up all of my decorations and showed up bright and early on wedding day. I had no worries the day of and was able to relax with my bridesmaids and soak in the day! Cannot recommend her enough!
Melinda was terrific! We (I) decided to hire her the last month before my wedding. (My mother was on the fence about if we needed it) My mother had helped with most of my planing and it was going well, but I wanted the freedom to enjoy my day with my mom and not to worry about what was going on at the venue. She did everything we were worried about, (including picking up all the kids meals from KFC for the 13 children that attended my wedding) She was organized and detailed and ran the coordination between our vendors on load in and out and during the event. As an event producer in New York City, it was really great to have a professional on my big day. My mother actually pulled me aside and apologized and thanked me for finding her. She kept everything on schedule and helped us give out the tips to vendors at the end of the night. Thank you Bliss Events and Melinda!!
As a very hands on bride, I wasn't sure we needed a wedding coordinator and my fiancé reassured me I had everything under control. So I spent the next 8 months leading up to the wedding getting everything perfect and organized and I had all the little details figured out. In July 2017, we were 3 months out and I started rethinking the decision. I read all kinds of horror stories about cakes falling apart, officiants missing, and crazy family members trying to take control. I decided I had invested too much time and energy planning everything to go perfectly for us not to have someone to see our plans through. I found Melinda through the Knot and she had great reviews. We met Melinda at our venue and as we did a walk through we met with the lighting specialist for the reception. She had a lot of great ideas and knew how to communicate what my vision was when I was at a loss for words. After talking to my fiancé, I convinced him I needed help and he finally got on board.
The day of our wedding was a whirlwind. We had a few guests cancel the day before so we had to rearrange the seating chart and when I say "we", I mean Melinda. The place cards printed small and hard to read, so melinda marked every place card to help the servers know what food went were. She worked smart and fast. For our reception, I wanted the lights dimmed and candles lit on every table. I forgot to remind her and it was on my mind as we made our way to down to the reception. When we entered the room, it was PERFECT!
Even though we had people constantly talking to us all night, I still found myself aware of the timeline we had spent so much time putting together. When I knew something was supposed to happen, I would look up and see Melinda already taking care of it.
Fast forward to the day after our wedding, my husband says to me, "she was the best decision for our wedding and you were right". But the greatest part about hiring Melinda as our coordinator came the day after the wedding. We got home at 10pm and started packing for our honeymoon when we found out our flights had been cancelled. We were supposed to be at the airport at 5am the next day and we were in a bit of a panic. After we got over the fact we weren't going on the honeymoon we had planned, my husbands first reaction is "text Melinda" :) So we texted her at 11pm and since Melinda is also a travel agent, she spent the next few hours searching all over the world to find us a different honeymoon destination. We were on our way to panama the next day and she even helped us find our car transportation when we landed 4,000 miles always.
If you're still thinking about getting a coordinator, stop thinking and book Melinda.
Can not say enough about Melinda, she was wonderful! She was on top of it all. Well worth the investment. Took the stress out of being the mother of the bride.
Trust me, you don't need a wedding coordinator. Our first meeting with Melinda went wonderfully. She seemed very personable and organized; however, as time went on, she seemed much less engaged. There seemed to be a real issue of over-promising and under-delivering. Melinda was unprepared for the final meeting with our venue and caterer. If you have a good DJ, he/she can serve as your day-of coordinator. Her services include a "detailed timeline" for the day which really only included timelines of when hair and make-up needed to arrive, and which we had to tell her to fix things on the timeline twice. The rest of the timeline we had to work with our other vendors to figure out what timing they had in mind. She then leaves the reception timeline up to the DJ. On the wedding day, she didn't call to make sure that hair and make-up had arrived and didn't show up herself until 4 hours after the day even started. She didn't ensure that all items were gathered for the florist to pick up the next day and she didn't let us know where any of our personal items were after the wedding. We did not even get a piece of cake at our reception, which seems to be something a coordinator should do. To our knowledge, she left the reception before it was even over. We had to work with the DJ to help him gather all of his items after the evening.
