Bliss Farm

Bliss farm was the perfect venue for our relaxed rustic wedding we imagined. We were able to play yard games and have a fire. Our guests absolutely loved the venue, the barn was beautiful and so was the property.

Bliss Farm was awesome. The barn is beautifully rustic with the poles wrapped in white lights and the beams. The property is beautiful with indoor and outdoor options for the ceremony, and a bridal suite with a nice makeup room the guesthouse can be rented as well to stay in day prior and day of. Shawn the owner is awesome and super flexible. The process was so easy and the day was amazing. They also have a firepit that they keep going all night. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had our wedding at Bliss Farm in October, and we could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day! The weather was fantastic and the foliage of the season was outstanding. The barn and the grounds are absolutely beautiful, and although a bit far from most places, provided a quiet peaceful setting. The lawn and grounds are very well cared for and we were able to have our ceremony under a huge chestnut tree with bright yellow leaves. The barn is beautiful and allowed for us to have a great setup, which our bar tenders later told us that they really liked the bar setup as well. The barn does have a guest limit, although it enabled us to have a small intimate wedding with less than 100 people, which was perfectly ok by us. We were also able to have a bonfire when it got dark, which our guests loved! Bliss Farm was very reasonably priced for our budget and allowed for us to set up the Friday before, have the rehearsal there that Friday night, and since there was not a wedding on Sunday we were able to return to clean up then. We were also the only wedding Saturday. This venue is a bit more work, since we had to book outside rentals, caterers, and other vendors ourselves, as well as set up and clean up everything. Which again we didn't mind because I love that sort of thing, although I suppose you could hire a wedding planner. The owners, Katie and Shawn, were both very accessible throughout the entire process and Katie was great with answering my ten thousand emails I sent her! Shawn was present day of and made a point to say hello to us and make sure everything was going as we planned. I highly recommend this venue for events. It was everything we could have asked for and more!

Shawn and Katie were a pleasure to work with. They have a gorgeous venue and we had a wonderful time at our wedding. They were flexible with us. We did have a couple of hiccups but in the end everything was a dream come true. Shawn even invited us back to the barn on our anniversary so we can watch the stars in the field. This place truly is one of a kind.
