Christol and her team did amazing for my wedding! I couldn’t be happier with how my hair and makeup turned out. It lasted all night long, and even into the next day (iykyk). I will always recommend her!

!!!BRIDES BEWARE!!! 🚩🚩🚩 I never write reviews but I had to aware brides because as stressful as the wedding process is for us, the LAST thing we should worry about is if your hair and makeup we pay so much money for is going to turn out how we expect it to. This is my very stressful experience with Bliss. First off, if you a have a question of ANY kind... you'll be waiting WEEKS for a reply back. Stressful! Second, the day of my bridal hair and makeup trial I was so excited! But as I was on my way there driving from Toledo to bowling Green, Cristol cancelled on me! That was very frustrating since my sister and I had to take a vacation day from work for that particular day, which turned out to be pointless. So I had to use ANOTHER vacation day for day she actually could do it 😒 Last but certainly not least. The day of the wedding. They had given me a timeline which I had waited for weeks for a response to make sure my bridal party would be there on time. They finally wrote me back and told me THE DAY BEFORE the wedding! 😡 Very angry about that because I was told I'd have a timeline a month in advance smh. (Keep in mind my wedding started at 2:50 and had to be out the door by 2:30) I had myself, my mother, mother in law, and my maid of honor (hair only ) for hair and makeup services. So 7 services. I was told they'd arrive at 11am. I was perfectly fine with that! UNTIL 11am came along and no sign of Bliss yet, so I called over and over finally at 11:30 she had called and said they were leaving Columbus Ohio and wouldn't get to us until 12:45!! 😡 But did not arrive til 1pm!!! That left an hour and half for 4 of us to get ready!!! They spent more time on the other 3 than the bride!! They literally spent only 30 minutes on my hair/Makeup!! They rushed through it and I was not impressed at all!! It took 2 hours during the trial to get me ready and ONLY 30 MINUTES THE DAY OF THE MOST IMPORTANT DAY OF MY LIFE!! I was late to my own wedding because of them!! 😭 I could've done better doing my own hair and makeup blindfolded!! Also I paid for airbrush and they did not use airbrush on any of us!! They forgot to put mascara on my lashes so I had to it myself, she threw my hair up and pinned it looking a hot mess!! 😩 I can not believe I gave them $850 of my hard earned money!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND BLISS NOT EVEN A LIL BIT!!! SO PLEASE BRIDES DO NOT GO TO BLISS!! YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED AND REGRET IT!!

Christol did an amazing job for my wedding. She did my hair and makeup as well as hair for three other people in my party. She made sure everything was perfect and exactly what I wanted. She took her time during the trial and on my wedding day to make sure I got the look I wanted and that everybody was happy before she left. It was easy to communicate with her and get any questions I had answered. I could not recommend her enough!

I hired Christol to do my bridal hair and makeup along with my bridesmaids, and she did a fantastic job! She was able to give me exactly the look I was hoping for, and she was very easy to work with and talk to. The only issue we had on our wedding day was that our services were not completed by the time we stated they would be in our emails/timeline. We did have a lot of services and christol brought an assistant, however, I think the assistant was not able to work at the same speed which got us a little off track. However, we were able to adjust our timeline and everything worked out great for our wedding!! I would recommend Christol for your wedding

Everyone’s hair turn out amazing and it held all night! All my bridesmaids got buns with braids and curls in the front and it look amazing on all of them.

I had Christol from Bliss Beauty do wedding day makeup for myself and my bridesmaids. Bliss was very responsive via email for makeup trial setup and wedding day timelines. Christol listened to my wishes and concerns and considered them during my trial. Christol and her assistant traveled to my venue to do our makeup on the wedding day. They were both professional, and every bridesmaid was very happy with the services they received. My bridal makeup was stunning, and I felt gorgeous that day. The makeup never budged through all the tears that were shed throughout the day. Thank you to Christol and her assistant for a wonderful experience.

Amazing!! I had a bridal trial and they listened to what I wanted I was so blown away. I don’t wear a lot of makeup and have eczema and was so worried about having my makeup and hair done due to past bad experiences. The artists here eased my fear and made me feel like a princess. They used products that helped my skin and I didn’t breakout/flare up once. They traveled to my venue day of and did my makeup and some bridesmaids. They all looked beautiful. I highly recommend!!

Christol did an absolutely amazing job for my wedding! She had a couple weddings to do on my date so we started bright and early and she was there and ready with her assistant right on time! Lots of energy and super personable! Makeup and hair stayed looking great all day! Would recommend to anyone looking for a professional job!

Christol was amazing!! She was very proficient and gave me and all my girls exactly what we asked for! She made me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt!

I’ll start off by saying I was happy with the hair and makeup I received however the salon is in rough condition, the hygienic practices of assistant were terrifying for bridesmaids, and Christol and her assistant arrived an hour late with no way to get a hold of them. A brides worst nightmare, as you could imagine! From the outside the place looks abandoned there were weeds growing out front. Then when you come inside there is dust everywhere. Vents look like they have never been cleaned. Trash was filled in the bathroom and fruit flies were all over the place. The place could be very beautiful with the front window but they don’t take care of it at all. **I arrived for my appointment at 8am with my bridesmaid and flower girl however Christol was no where to be found. We sat outside opened up our champagne and attempted to get ahold of her. Just before we were about to get in our car and drive away she arrived. It was an hour past the time we planned on. She told me her phone died and she went to the wrong venue. She apologized and said it’s never happened before but if you read through her reviews you will see that’s not true. Terribly stressful start to my wedding day. Another issue I had was having to have my trial rescheduled d/t miscommunication about Christol’s availability. They let me know a few days before my trial I would need to reschedule because Christol was on vacation during that time. My trial ended up being a week or two before the wedding. I had my concerns about the building at the trial but by that time it was to late to find a new stylist and we had already put down deposit. From this experience I highly recommend brides getting trial or atleast going to salon before putting down deposit. My bridesmaids let me know later on that the assistant who did there makeup was reusing makeup applicators in an unhygienic way. They did not say anything at the time because they didn’t want to run my day but they were absolutely disgusted by the assistant’s unhygienic practices and workspace. Christol I want you to know my wedding turned out absolutely amazing and I looked amazing, you have talent but you need to seriously rethink how you are conducting your business. If you don’t have time to maintain your property I would recommend hiring someone to do so. Thank you for the beautiful hair and makeup but I can not recommend anyone to go back there.

Christol was wonderful, she did my hair and makeup for my wedding along with my bridesmaids and my mom. She got us all done in time and everyone looked amazing. She did everything like I asked and continually made sure I liked the way everything looked. She made sure I looked perfect for my wedding day :) She was very professional, patient and kind throughout the process. Christol did an amazing job for me and my wedding! I truly appreciated her assistant communicating with me what the expectations were. I only had five people getting two services done each and in order to be done by 1P, we started at 7:30a. I loved how candid Christol and her team were about her timeline! I am a stickler for schedules and we had absolutely no issues since we stuck to what Christol and her team told us to do. The day we got married it POURED outside. My makeup survived the entire two hours being outside in the rain taking photos! My hair was in great shape as well considering I wore it down that day! Christol brought a great vibe and energy to the whole morning and I can honestly say because of that I had very little nerves going into the ceremony :)

After struggling to find a place to do my hair and makeup for my wedding I was excited to find out that Bliss Salon and Beauty Bar was available to do my wedding. In August, I emailed them asking about scheduling my hair and makeup trial because I hadn’t heard anything from them, and I knew they had mentioned in the contract that a trial wasn’t guaranteed if it didn’t fit in the schedule. I wanted to make sure that there was enough time to get my trial booked before they filled up with other appointments. They quickly responded with dates that were available. None of them were great for my schedule as I work nightshift, but I didn’t want to pass up the chance to get my trial done and figured I’d stay up and go after my 12-hour shift. I also emailed them asking if I could book a trial for my mom because she wasn’t sure what she wanted done and they gladly told me yes and that it could be the same day as mine. The day of the appointment rolls around, and I get a text from Christol saying that her airbrush isn’t working and wanted to know if I could reschedule. On the day that we rescheduled the appointment for Christol texted me again apologizing saying that she had to go to her kids’ school and couldn’t do the trial. We rescheduled again and this time I made it all the way to the salon before finding out that she supposedly forgot about the appointment. She said she had been picking up a puppy for her kid but that she would be at the salon within 15 minutes to do the trial. Not even 5 minutes later she called the lady at the salon and told her to tell us that she forgot that her in-laws were in Canada and couldn’t watch her kids so she wouldn’t be able to make it. She also told the lady to tell me that I would get my deposit back, the wedding would be free, and that she would reach out and schedule another trial with me this time coming to my apartment to do it. When I got home, I remembered that when I was researching hair salons that she had, had a bad review previously in 2017 but I figured it was just a fluke. I went back and read this review and it sounded very similar to what was happening to me. At this point I was scared she would not show up to my wedding at all and I had not heard anything directly from Christol about rescheduling a new trial, so I went ahead and booked a new stylist three weeks out from my wedding which was not easy! I then emailed them to tell them I would not be needing their services. I have never received my deposit back and when I reached out to them, I was told I made the whole thing up even though it occurred in the salon in front of both employees and customers.

Christol did great on my hair and makeup and her makeup artist did great on my girls. They booked another wedding the same day this not communicated to me causing the timing to be earlier than expected and my bridesmaids and I all felt rushed. It felt as if they were constantly checking the time. Two of my bridesmaids hair did not look great when the ceremony started. She wanted to start our hair and makeup at 5:30 AM when the ceremony wasn’t until the afternoon. This was told to me 2 days before my wedding! Her assistant was VERY rude and unprofessional in emails. Thankfully we worked something out and didn’t start until 7:00. Christol was still late to showing up when she wanted to start earlier.

Christol did an AMAZING job on my hair and makeup on my wedding day. My skin (which I am very sensitive about due to being extremely pale, easily red, and acne prone) looked porcelin and flawless throughout the night! I cannot express how happy I was and how beautiful I felt.

I have only amazing things to say about Christol. She made sure I loved both my wedding looks during my trials, and was a huge reason I was so calm during the morning of my wedding. Not only was my hair everything I dreamed for both my events, she made all my girls, my mom, and my mother in law feel super beautiful! Thank you SO much for everything Christol!

Christol was phenomenal! She was fun, yet professional, and so easy to work with. I’m usually not a fan of airbrush but our makeup turned out seriously amazing. She is so thorough and will do whatever to make sure everyone looks stunning on the big day. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!

Very happy with the hair and makeup services for my wedding! Christol does a great job of suggesting and figuring out what to do for those of us that didn’t know exactly what we wanted. We received many compliments on the hair and makeup, and Christol made everyone feel very comfortable.

Christol from Bliss did an absolutely wonderful job at my wedding!! She did my bridal makeup as well as makeup for the MOB, MOG, and five others in the wedding party. We ranged from folks who live for makeup to those who never wear it and Christol was able to make everyone satisfied with their look! I was especially grateful for how much she listened and worked with me to figure out the lip color and lashes that felt special enough for my wedding but not so big that they overpowered me. I definitely recommend her!

Loved my hair and makeup by Christol on my wedding day! I did not feel "overdone" at all, like previous times I've had professional services. The thing I appreciated most about Christol: during my trial the style I thought I wanted ended up not being right for me once I saw it on myself and not in pictures. She patiently worked with me to figure out exactly what I wanted and was going to look right for my personal style, taking the extra time to make sure I loved it. I found Christol through my maid of honor who is a makeup artist for weddings in the Toledo area. They had done weddings together and I had heard nothing but amazing things. I hired her to do my hair and 9 bridesmaids. She was both professional and fun and my bridal party loved her. She completed all of our looks in about 3-3.5 hours. Christol did a fantastic job with my wedding day hair and makeup! I wanted a slight tweak from my trial to wedding day and she executed it perfectly. On the wedding day, the stylists were timely and on schedule. Christol’s salon was such a beautiful location and plenty of space for us to gather the morning of the wedding.

Christol was like my fairy godmother on my wedding day. My hairdresser flaked last minute and she was able to accommodate both makeup hair for me and my girls. I also wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted and she was able to take my minimal descriptions and overall vibe and give me my perfect look. She’s so cool and I would be her friend any day.

I loved the make up ladies! They were so nice and I think they took into consideration what each of my bridesmaids wanted and what they are used to! I have had my make up done other places where I wasn't able to give my input so that was appreciated. It did feel like a lot of make up but I think that is because I don't wear a lot on a normal day. The only issue I had was with the office manager-- she was pushy about receiving payment before services were rendered which was not in our contract but after talking it out with the make up artist I felt better about it all.

My bridal party and I had the greatest time! Not only did we get to play music and dance but our make-up was amazing!!!!

Christol is amazing!! She took 2 hours doing my daughter's FREE trial of hair and makeup to make sure everything was exactly the way my daughter wanted it for the day of the wedding!! I know no idea how she is so talented at hair AND makeup but I wouldn’t have traded her for the world. We absolutely loved working with Christol and the staff at Bliss! I left my trial day knowing exactly what to expect on my wedding day, and the changes I had made were easily incorporated into my style plan. The entire staff is great to work with and they were in constant communication so we knew exactly what our day-of timeline would be. Christol is the best at what she does and I would not recommend anyone but Bliss for wedding and special event hair/makeup!

Christol is amazing. She worked really well with me, even though I drove her crazy from time to time because of my crazy life style. I loved how I could learn, throughout time with my make up trials, what make up best fits my face with her help. On the wedding day she was on time and everything went great. Katy, her assistant also was a great help for on time scheduling and everything I needed.

Krystal is the owner of Bliss Salon and she personally did my hair and makeup. She’s super amazing (personality and hair/makeup ability). We had one other lady come to help with makeup and they also brought an assistant on the day of my wedding to help them out. They were willing to do trials for my mother and mother in law which was super awesome because they said that the trials are usually just for brides. They also offer waxing and eyelash extensions at their salon if you want/need that before your wedding. It was nice to have them come to my house so we didn’t have to go to Bowling Green on my wedding day. All the girls looked amazing!!

Christol and the ladies did a wonderful job on myself, my bridesmaids, and my flower girl with hair and makeup. Very nice and professional. I don't usually wear a lot of makeup and Christol helped me look natural but still stunning. They were able to come to us to get ready which helped things go very smooth in the morning. Bliss was so great to work with and I'm so glad I chose them! I corresponded with Katy who is the assistant/receptionist and she was always so great. I decided to book them for my wedding without having the trial first because I was running out of time. I'm so glad I did! I had the trial with Cristol and she is literally the sweetest person and I loved what she did with my hair and makeup! I felt ridiculously comfortable with my decision when I left the salon that day! Cristol came out with another girl (I'm sorry I can't remember her name) the day of the wedding. They were super accommodating because some girls decided to get false lashes on a whim. I know they had a strict time limit and they made it work! They were again so friendly and nice and REALLY good. I would 100% recommend Bliss for your hair and make up needs!

Bliss Salon & Beauty Bar is amazing! I booked them before I ever met Christol, but after going to her to get my hair done regularly, I was positive I made the right choice! The trial run for my wedding hair and makeup went perfect and I knew the day of would be also. The day before my wedding, there was a very unexpected event that could not be helped, but Christol and all of her staff made sure that everything went smoothly the day of and went out of their way to accommodate me . They made my mom and I both feel stunning the day of my wedding and I could not be more thrilled to suggest them to anyone looking for a hair and makeup artist for their wedding!!!

OMG this girl is amazing, I felt so beautiful and we had a lot of fun while doing my hair, I was so pumped to go to my wedding, so many people complimented my hair and all, i would definitely recommend Christol :) P.S. If you have pictures of my hair I would love them, my photographer sucked so I didn't get anything good.

The girls at Bliss were so awesome! I tried a trial run with a different place before Bliss and I was very unhappy. I went into this trial explaining what I wanted and Christol delivered! She listened to my specific style while also making it look like I was a bride and not just everyday makeup. She made me feel so beautiful. Christol and her assistant were able to do all 6 of my bridesmaids, myself, and the two moms all on the same day within 2 1/2 hours. It was perfect. We had plenty of time the day of to take pictures with all the hair and makeup done. She was very reasonable for airbrush makeup and travels for free as long as you have at least 4 people. I recommended her to a friend and now she is doing her wedding too! I am in that one and I am so thankful to be able to work with Christol again. Highly recommend!

Bliss's Lynsee and Sierra did a great job with my hair and makeup for the wedding and they were even able to squeeze in hair and makeup for my aunt at the last minute! The girls were communicative throughout the process, from scheduling, through the trial, and the day-of. I ended up going in a different direction with my hair the day of my wedding than what we'd done during the trial and Lynsee was totally cool with that. They took extra care to make sure that I was really happy with the way I looked for the big day!

I hired Christol and her staff for hair and makeup for my July 8th wedding and I was so happy i did. Christol is seriously one of the nicest people I have ever met and she made me look AAAAAMAZING for the wedding of my dreams. Thank you so much!!!!

Christol and her Bliss Salon & Beauty Bar team successfully styled and did make-up for our large wedding party. A bride, bridesmaids and moms are a tough crowd to impress and manage to say the least. All I saw were smiles on everyone’s face and they all looked so beautiful! Each bridesmaid was able to create their own unique look and they looked amazing! The bride was absolutely beaming and STUNNING!!! Christol is a calming and caring person who goes above and beyond for her clients. She even helped me when I started to melt down being the mother of the groom. Always a fan!

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding that Bliss Salon & Beauty Bar were hired to do last Saturday. Christol and her team did an outstanding job. All the bridesmaids and bride received compliments all night long. Christol did my hair and made it absolutely beautiful; she even stayed later to do finishing touches to make sure everyone was perfect. I would highly recommend Bliss Salon & Beauty Bar to anyone getting married. They do the best hair and make up around and make you feel like royalty! They go above and beyond to make everyone happy!

I signed my contract for hair and makeup with Christol in June 2016 for my wedding in May 2017. My wedding was going to be in Columbus so Christol would have to travel which they said was fine and they knew about this when I signed the contract. A month and half out from my wedding, when I went in for my trial, I was told that Christol had another wedding booked for that day in Bowling Green, but she assured me that everything would get worked out. I received an email one week after my trial stating that in order for Christol to do my hair and makeup she would have to start at 6:00am so she would have enough time to travel back to Bowling Green for her other wedding. They also gave me the other option of having another stylist, Nettie, do my hair and makeup for free and they would also offer me a free trial, schedules permitting. Obviously 6:00 am is way too early to start getting ready so I was willing to try Nettie. They offered to have her drive 2 hours away to where I live to do the trial. When I said yes I would like to do that, they emailed me on 4/25 saying that because it is too close to my wedding date (5/27) and because of Nettie’s availability they could not do the trial but assured me that Christol would show Nettie what to do. They also tried to blame me saying that because I changed my end time from noon to 11:00am that it messed up their scheduling for that day. There would be no way that Christol could have a wedding before mine in Bowling Green and make it to Columbus to have me done by noon which means this other wedding she had booked must have been after mine. Therefore, me changing my end time to 11:00am should have actually helped Christol and the other bride out, not made things more difficult. Also, because I was the first bride to book, that should mean I have top priority over the other bride when it comes to scheduling. Needless to say I will not be getting my hair and makeup done here because of their very poor customer service and scheduling issues.

Christol did an absolutely amazing job getting my girls and I ready in time. She even helped entertain my flower girl and showing her makeup skills. Thank you for your patience, expertise, and fun!! The makeup lasted all day without any problems, even after all the crying!!!

Christol did a wonderful job! I couldn't have been happier with how my hair looked. It was nice to have a trail (which was included in the price) before my wedding to make sure I liked everything. Christol brought one other stylist and they were very efficient ( We had 14 people get their hair done!). Everyone loved their hair and the price was nice too! I would recommend Bliss Salon to other brides.

Christol and he team did a great job. They did 5 up-dos, makeup, and mother of the groom/bride hair in no time. They were organized and so professional. They came to my dad's house at no extra charge which was a huge stress reliever for a bride who already has 10,000 places to be that day. Keep up the good work ladies!!

I looked and felt like a princess. I felt absolutely gorgeous and my new husband was stunned when he saw me. I had my hair and makeup done as well as all of my bridesmaids who also looked gorgeous. I would definitely recommend!

I absolutely LOVED my experience with Bliss Salon! I got my hair and makeup done by them for my wedding and everything was perfect! Nettie did a beautiful job on my hair/makeup for my wedding! She and Christol traveled to my venue and were timely, professional, amazing, and so friendly! They did my hair, both mothers' hair and all of the bridesmaids' hair in such a timely manner! I've never seen anyone do updos as quickly (and beautifully) as them! Our hair stayed up all day and night! I would HIGHLY recommend Bliss Salon & Beauty Bar!

Christol is absolutely amazing! I had worked with her in the past at events in the wedding circuit so I already knew she was amazing! She had only done my hair once or twice prior to our wedding but it seemed as though she had been working with me for years! Her and her team were very attentive and kept us all on schedule. She even came out to the hall so we were able to take turns with hair and make-up while setting up our decorations. It made it a stress free morning! I absolutely loved my hair and make-up she did for my wedding day. I knew it would be perfect after our trial day where she was very patient with me and what I wanted. I have A LOT of hair and she was able to put it all up without any concern of it falling throughout the night! I actually wore my hair in my up-do with my make-up still flawless when boarding the plane for the honeymoon the next day!

Christol is amazing!! She is nice and her work is amazing and she is decently priced! She is the sweetest lady! I even have her doing my cuts and color now also!

Andrea did my hair for my special day and she was GREAT!!!! My hair turned out exactly how I wanted it to and it last all the way through the day. I wish I could have said the same for my sister's hair though. She went to Sherry and her updo lasted an hour. I had to fix it right before the ceremony.
