able for scheduled appointments! They caused DISASTER on the wedding day! They were late to start. They showed up without supplies needed AND without an already paid for person who was suppose to be a stylist…who knows…she never showed even though we were told on an hourly basis, when we asked where she was, that she would be there any minute😡. Several in the wedding party NEVER got their hair and/or makeup done! I could go on, but I do not want to relive any more of their failures!

First off, if you a have a question of ANY kind... you'll be waiting WEEKS for a reply back. Stressful! Second, the day of my bridal hair and makeup trial I was so excited! But as I was on my way there driving from Toledo to bowling Green, Cristol cancelled on me! That was very frustrating since my sister and I had to take a vacation day from work for that particular day, which turned out to be pointless. So I had to use ANOTHER vacation day for day she actually could do it 😒 Last but certainly not least. The day of the wedding. They had given me a timeline which I had waited for weeks for a response to make sure my bridal party would be there on time. They finally wrote me back and told me THE DAY BEFORE the wedding! 😡 Very angry about that because I was told I'd have a timeline a month in advance smh. (Keep in mind my wedding started at 2:50 and had to be out the door by 2:30) I had myself, my mother, mother in law, and my maid of honor (hair only ) for hair and makeup services. So 7 services. I was told they'd arrive at 11am. I was perfectly fine with that! UNTIL 11am came along and no sign of Bliss yet, so I called over and over finally at 11:30 she had called and said they were leaving Columbus Ohio and wouldn't get to us until 12:45!! 😡 But did not arrive til 1pm!!! That left an hour and half for 4 of us to get ready!!! They spent more time on the other 3 than the bride!! They literally spent only 30 minutes on my hair/Makeup!! They rushed through it and I was not impressed at all!! It took 2 hours during the trial to get me ready and ONLY 30 MINUTES THE DAY OF THE MOST IMPORTANT DAY OF MY LIFE!! I was late to my own wedding because of them!! 😭 I could've done better doing my own hair and makeup blindfolded!! Also I paid for airbrush and they did not use airbrush on any of us!! They forgot to put mascara on my lashes so I had to it myself, she threw my hair up and pinned it looking a hot mess!! 😩 I can not believe I gave them $850 of my hard earned money!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND BLISS NOT EVEN A LIL BIT!!! SO PLEASE BRIDES DO NOT GO TO BLISS!! YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED AND REGRET IT!!

anted. She took her time during the trial and on my wedding day to make sure I got the look I wanted and that everybody was happy before she left. It was easy to communicate with her and get any questions I had answered. I could not recommend her enough!

easy to work with and talk to. The only issue we had on our wedding day was that our services were not completed by the time we stated they would be in our emails/timeline. We did have a lot of services and christol brought an assistant, however, I think the assistant was not able to work at the same speed which got us a little off track. However, we were able to adjust our timeline and everything worked out great for our wedding!! I would recommend Christol for your wedding

They were both professional, and every bridesmaid was very happy with the services they received. My bridal makeup was stunning, and I felt gorgeous that day. The makeup never budged through all the tears that were shed throughout the day. Thank you to Christol and her assistant for a wonderful experience.

ir done due to past bad experiences. The artists here eased my fear and made me feel like a princess. They used products that helped my skin and I didn’t breakout/flare up once. They traveled to my venue day of and did my makeup and some bridesmaids. They all looked beautiful. I highly recommend!!

s, and Christol and her assistant arrived an hour late with no way to get a hold of them. A brides worst nightmare, as you could imagine! From the outside the place looks abandoned there were weeds growing out front. Then when you come inside there is dust everywhere. Vents look like they have never been cleaned. Trash was filled in the bathroom and fruit flies were all over the place. The place could be very beautiful with the front window but they don’t take care of it at all. **I arrived for my appointment at 8am with my bridesmaid and flower girl however Christol was no where to be found. We sat outside opened up our champagne and attempted to get ahold of her. Just before we were about to get in our car and drive away she arrived. It was an hour past the time we planned on. She told me her phone died and she went to the wrong venue. She apologized and said it’s never happened before but if you read through her reviews you will see that’s not true. Terribly stressful start to my wedding day. Another issue I had was having to have my trial rescheduled d/t miscommunication about Christol’s availability. They let me know a few days before my trial I would need to reschedule because Christol was on vacation during that time. My trial ended up being a week or two before the wedding. I had my concerns about the building at the trial but by that time it was to late to find a new stylist and we had already put down deposit. From this experience I highly recommend brides getting trial or atleast going to salon before putting down deposit. My bridesmaids let me know later on that the assistant who did there makeup was reusing makeup applicators in an unhygienic way. They did not say anything at the time because they didn’t want to run my day but they were absolutely disgusted by the assistant’s unhygienic practices and workspace. Christol I want you to know my wedding turned out absolutely amazing and I looked amazing, you have talent but you need to seriously rethink how you are conducting your business. If you don’t have time to maintain your property I would recommend hiring someone to do so. Thank you for the beautiful hair and makeup but I can not recommend anyone to go back there.

one each and in order to be done by 1P, we started at 7:30a. I loved how candid Christol and her team were about her timeline! I am a stickler for schedules and we had absolutely no issues since we stuck to what Christol and her team told us to do. The day we got married it POURED outside. My makeup survived the entire two hours being outside in the rain taking photos! My hair was in great shape as well considering I wore it down that day! Christol brought a great vibe and energy to the whole morning and I can honestly say because of that I had very little nerves going into the ceremony :)

led them asking about scheduling my hair and makeup trial because I hadn’t heard anything from them, and I knew they had mentioned in the contract that a trial wasn’t guaranteed if it didn’t fit in the schedule. I wanted to make sure that there was enough time to get my trial booked before they filled up with other appointments. They quickly responded with dates that were available. None of them were great for my schedule as I work nightshift, but I didn’t want to pass up the chance to get my trial done and figured I’d stay up and go after my 12-hour shift. I also emailed them asking if I could book a trial for my mom because she wasn’t sure what she wanted done and they gladly told me yes and that it could be the same day as mine. The day of the appointment rolls around, and I get a text from Christol saying that her airbrush isn’t working and wanted to know if I could reschedule. On the day that we rescheduled the appointment for Christol texted me again apologizing saying that she had to go to her kids’ school and couldn’t do the trial. We rescheduled again and this time I made it all the way to the salon before finding out that she supposedly forgot about the appointment. She said she had been picking up a puppy for her kid but that she would be at the salon within 15 minutes to do the trial. Not even 5 minutes later she called the lady at the salon and told her to tell us that she forgot that her in-laws were in Canada and couldn’t watch her kids so she wouldn’t be able to make it. She also told the lady to tell me that I would get my deposit back, the wedding would be free, and that she would reach out and schedule another trial with me this time coming to my apartment to do it. When I got home, I remembered that when I was researching hair salons that she had, had a bad review previously in 2017 but I figured it was just a fluke. I went back and read this review and it sounded very similar to what was happening to me. At this point I was scared she would not show up to my wedding at all and I had not heard anything directly from Christol about rescheduling a new trial, so I went ahead and booked a new stylist three weeks out from my wedding which was not easy! I then emailed them to tell them I would not be needing their services. I have never received my deposit back and when I reached out to them, I was told I made the whole thing up even though it occurred in the salon in front of both employees and customers.

earlier than expected and my bridesmaids and I all felt rushed. It felt as if they were constantly checking the time. Two of my bridesmaids hair did not look great when the ceremony started. She wanted to start our hair and makeup at 5:30 AM when the ceremony wasn’t until the afternoon. This was told to me 2 days before my wedding! Her assistant was VERY rude and unprofessional in emails. Thankfully we worked something out and didn’t start until 7:00. Christol was still late to showing up when she wanted to start earlier.

m folks who live for makeup to those who never wear it and Christol was able to make everyone satisfied with their look! I was especially grateful for how much she listened and worked with me to figure out the lip color and lashes that felt special enough for my wedding but not so big that they overpowered me. I definitely recommend her!

ristol: during my trial the style I thought I wanted ended up not being right for me once I saw it on myself and not in pictures. She patiently worked with me to figure out exactly what I wanted and was going to look right for my personal style, taking the extra time to make sure I loved it. Her extra steps and care throughout the trial process were truly a game changer!
