I was amazed that she was able to fit us in graciously to her busy schedule and then so thrilled to see exactly what she put together for my sons future wife. She was also able to order me flowers so I could make arrangements for the rehearsal dinner. Everything was so beautiful and we couldn’t have done it without Carlyn. Thank you so very much.

ded up hot gluing the flowers to the base to try to get them to stay and I ended up only using my bouquet for photos, but I refused to even hold it during my entrance, because, despite the hot glue, flowers were still falling out. Next, my kings table centerpieces, which were supposed to have the illusion of being one long centerpiece with flowers 360 degrees around the cylinder ended up coming to the venue as three big balls of flowers for each of the two tables and it looked horrible. She spent hours at the venue trying to fix it and I still didn't get what I had contracted for. This all comes after she was extraordinarily rude to my coordinator, going as far as to say that she couldn't wait until my wedding was over and how she didn't have to listen to my coordinator because she was 3 times her age. All vendors should note that age doesn't matter when you're doing your job incorrectly. She was instructed not to contact me the week of the wedding and to send everything through my coordinator, but the night before my wedding she started texting me while I was at the rehearsal dinner telling me that my centerpiece arrangements looked horrible and she wasn't going to include the dandrobium orchids on there and instead put them on the kings table centerpieces. She was right about them looking weird, so I told her to change it, but I'm not sure why in the world this was left to the night before the wedding when I know for a fact that she works on the centerpieces for days before the wedding. Let me tell you that I also paid for a lot more of those orchids than were on the kings table centerpieces. All in all, this was the worst experience of my wedding and certainly gave me a lot of anxiety in addition to it all being wayyyyy overpriced.

dding was beyond gorgeous! We decided to use floral arrangements and greenery as most of the decorations and everything looked stunning! It was like a fairytale wedding and her flowers are top quality. My bouquet was exactly what I wanted. She took the time to meet with us and go through exactly what I envisioned and she exceeded my expectations! The tables were decorated perfectly with mixture of flowers, votive candles and floating candles. The bridesmaid bouquets, Mother’s wristlets and boutonnières were stunning. Even the guys mentioned how beautiful the flowers were and guys usually never notice those things. Carlyn was on time and easy to connect with even though we were planning everything from Michigan. She put me at ease that everything would turn out beautiful and she was right! She also worked with our budget and was very patient with me although I made many changes :) The passion Carlyn has is seen thorough the quality of her arrangements.

y incredible! She is a terrific florist, hands down one of the most responsive and helpful professionals I have ever come across, and such a pleasure to work with. She was so attentive to all of my (million) questions and details to bring my vision to life. She is extremely dependable, detail oriented, takes great care in her work and delivers a truly beautiful and classy design across all elements from the bouquets to the chuppah and the centerpieces. Carlyn also went above and beyond to make sure that we could procure aspects I had in mind that were not readily available (for example, I had a difficult time finding a specific type of birch chuppah I liked and wanted a certain type of large clear glass compotes for my centerpieces and Carlyn made sure to hunt them down! )She was also extremely patient with me when I changed my mind a time (or two, or three :)) during the design process while being meticulous in capturing and delivering even on the smallest details exactly how I had communicated that I envisioned them. On the day of, she made sure to stay on site at the venue to make sure that everything turned out beautifully even after she had finished setting up the ceremony site. I received so many compliments on how beautiful the floral was. I am so thrilled we had selected Blissful Blooms for our day and want other brides to know that with Carlyn you are in the best hands!!

they were not in season in AZ during late September. However, Carlyn found us a stunning replacement and my bridal/bridesmaid bouquets looked amazing. She also made up some very cool boutonnieres for the men using succulents. She was professional but also very highly personable, so glad we used Blissful Blooms!

. I sent her a small collection of things I liked and my "theme" or reasons why I choose AZ for a destination and she nailed it. I went from not caring about flowers to it being one of my absolute favorite details of the day. They were gorgeous! Just gorgeous. She even went above and beyond (as in jumping out of her car on the side of the road) to grab the perfect cake topper for me!

It can be very frustrating when vendors take forever to get back with you but Carlyn is ON IT. It is very obvious that she enjoys what she does. Our wedding flowers were STUNNING. e true. I had a NYE wedding, so my colors were black and white with accents of gold. I wanted bright flowers to offset the neutral color palette; everyone at the wedding was commenting that the floral arrangements reminded them of an Arizona sunset. They were absolutely beautiful and unique! I love that she used bright oranges and purples to make the bouquets and table arrangements more modern and less like the "typical" wedding florals. Also, since I had accents of gold, she hand painted modern-shaped vases with matte gold lines and accents. They were so artistic and beautiful! If I were to get married again, I'd definitely re-hire Carlyn. She's amazing!

giving my mom and I helpful advice about other aspects of the wedidng. Everything was perfect! We also used her as our day of coordinator and she was on point! I love my husband and his friends but let me tell you - they are a rowdy bunch! Carlyn kept everyone on track and my wedding started on time (to the minute!) and went off without a hitch. Couldn't have done it without her!!

On top of the usual planning considerations, we also had to arrange bus transportation for our guests, schedule transportation to Phoenix for out of town guests, arrange transportation and accommodation for our vendors (band, photographer, videographer), arrange hotel accommodations for all guests, purchase flowers in Mexico (which isn't easy), plan an out of town rehearsal dinner and farewell breakfast.... You get the idea. Despite the fact that planning this wedding involved a lot of moving parts, Carlyn made it look EASY. She is incredibly talented and creative but organized and thorough- truly the best of both worlds. She always wanted to know what my vision for the big day was and did a beautiful job executing the tastefully done décor (which was ocean/beach themed of course). Her flower arrangements were truly spectacular. The day of my wedding went off without a hitch, and if there were any issues I did not know about them because Carlyn was on top of everything! I received countless compliments on the wedding weekend, which was everything I dreamed of and more thanks to Carlyn. I also gained a new friend in the process. I HIGHLY recommend hiring Blissful Blooms to handle your big day or special event, no matter what the size. You will be so glad you did!
