About this vendor
Blitz Studios is a wedding videography company operating out of Cleveland, Ohio. Our headquarters is on Rockside Rd and we employ a team of 4 full time videographers. We have been filming weddings for over 5 years across the state of Ohio and have mastered the ability to provide cinematic weddings video that are consistent and reliable. We have been nominated for Best of TheKnot Weddings in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. We have over 50 5 star reviews on our Google and TheKnot accounts from happy couples. Our goal is to capture every joyous and tear-jerking moment of your special day, but also get to know our couples on a personal level. We believe in providing an experience the day of the wedding that is upbeat, fun, and intimate.
Led by owner and creative director Matthew Harris, Blitz Studios aspires to be at the forefront of Ohio’s wedding videography scene. Matthew began filming weddings in college at Baldwin Wallace University and quickly realized the amount of enjoyment and passion he has for wedding filmmaking. He loves being able to capture moments that couples can cherish forever, but also doing it in a cinematic fashion. We believe that collaboration between the couples and their videographers is key to the success of the big day. We get to know their style for the wedding and mimic that style. We have developed a unique brand of moviemaking that focuses on our clients’ wishes. We are passionate about producing eye-catching and emotive films by combining artistic and documentary cinematic styles.
We offer 3 different packages for our couples. Each package combines with 2 videographers and the full length edited videos of the ceremony, introductions, speeches, cake cutting, first dances, parent dances, and more. We offer 4K drone coverage for all our packages and will run multiple cameras throughout the day.
One thing that makes us unique is that we are a full service video production company. This means we take a lot of expertise from our other projects (such as short films and promotional videos) and apply those techniques to weddings. Weddings are tricky to film because of the constant change in lighting, different audio environments, and the need to be quick on your feet. Having a well rounded experience in all types of productions really elevates our quality of work and brand standards. It also helps that we have invested tens of thousands of dollars into our equipment and have the latest 6K Netflix approved cinema cameras, stabilizers, audio plug-ins, drones, and more. This is critical for capturing low light reception footage, church ceremonies, and heavy backlight wedding venues.
We would love to learn more about your wedding and be apart of your big day! Feel free to reach out to us here or at our website at www.blitzstudios.video. You can also connect with us on Instagram at @theblitzstudios and @blitzstudios_weddings.

Blitz Studios just might be the most professional and effective wedding videographer in the state! Matt met with us several times to discuss our needs before the wedding and gave u...
s a PERFECT video after it was over. If you need a videographer for your wedding, look no further than Blitz Studios!
Matt was so friendly and fun! He made the process easy, was so knowledgeable and really made sure that he got the footage we wanted. I am so glad we chose to work with blitz studio...
s for our Cleveland area wedding at Manakiki golf course. Would do it all over again.
I used Blitz studio for my wedding and they did an amazing job. Went above and beyond. I was on the fence about hiring a videographer but I’m SO glad I did. Great communication and...
super flexible. They worked great with all my other vendors too!
Matt did a great job filming my son's wedding in Aug. 2023. We were even thrown a few curve balls when the weather didn't cooperate (we were scheduled for an outdoor ceremony). Aft...
er rain and a tornado warning we were forced to move indoors to a location down the street and Matt and his team rolled with the punches. We even had to delay the ceremony by 30 min, which I was worried would screw up my allotted 6 hours with Matt, but he stayed on and made sure he covered all the big things AND didn't charge me extra! It's little things like that, on an already stressful day, that stick out. The amount of editing that must go into these videos is a lot of work. We did the 6 hour package and got the whole ceremony, the highlight reel, the speeches, the dances, and first look without having to pour through hours of raw footage. I had a few minor edits I asked for to our highlight reel and he easily made them. Very happy with Matt's professionalism and products. I remember when I was first interviewing videographers and was having sticker shock because when you add all the footage up, you really only get about 60 minutes tops. Matt steered me to a video he had made that explained the process of filming and editing wedding videos and it really helped me to see and understand the amount of his time and labor that goes into making and editing these videos which justifies the costs. Totally made sense after that and that video is what sold me on working with him!
Blitz Studios did an amazing job at capturing our wedding day. From our first conversation I knew this was the perfect videographer for us - answered any of our questions, met befo...
re the wedding to talk through details and arrived ready to go on our wedding day. Even when some edits were requested they fixed everything in a quickly manner until it was perfect. We appreciate all of their hard work and highly recommended using them for your wedding!!
We could not be happier that we chose Matt/Blitz for our wedding videography! We were originally not going to hire a videographer and I truly cannot imagine not having Matt with us...
on our wedding day. Matt and his second shooter (also named Matt, we refer to them as "The Matts" lol) are very talented and will get all kinds of fun shots including their 360 degree camera which was so awesome! My husband and I are a very fun and lighthearted couple and we wanted to carry that energy throughout our day -- we had an absolute BLAST with our video (Blitz) and photo teams.
Both Matts made us feel on top of the world. They took a lot of care and attention to who we are and all of the details we had throughout the day. It was very special for us that we had them for our first look with our photographers to be able to capture different angles and reactions. The main reason we decided to investigate a videographer after being so against it at first was deciding to surprise our guests with an amazing choreographed first dance with spark machines. I have had the pleasure of working with Blitz previously through work engagements and I knew Matt would be the perfect person to trust to capture our big moment.
This is a top notch business that I've had the pleasure of working with both at work and at my wedding. We had a true dream team of vendors and they all loved our video and photo teams so much so that they've already gotten referrals from other vendors for new clients. For the vendors to get along so well that they are now referring each other for future weddings is really special to us and we're SO glad we had them all with us on our wedding day!
You will love working with Blitz for all of your wedding videography needs!

r a wedding videographer and immediately thought of him.
We had a few phone calls and an in person consultation at the venue with Matt before the big day. He was professional, punctual, knowledgable, and had so many creative ideas for our video.
When we hired Blitz Studios we knew we were going to get a great wedding video...
What we didn't expect was a cinema quality movie that captured the precise emotion of every single moment and has brought every single person who watched it to tears. I am not kidding - everyone who has seen the video has cried. Many people have commented that our 5 minute highlight video looks like a movie trailer!
When we were putting together our wedding budget I was not interested in the added cost of a videographer. My husband pushed and pushed for it and I eventually caved. When we watched our video for the first time, I said it was the best money we spent on our wedding.
Matt and the team at Blitz Studios are an absolute pleasure to work with - they are professionals and their video production quality is off the charts. They exceeded every one of our expectations and provided a video that will emotionally transport us back to our wedding day for the rest of our lives.
Thank you Matt and the rest of the team at Blitz Studios!!! We can't wait to work with you again!

up some highlights we didn't think of. Blitz even went the extra mile and when they noticed our DJ's audio wasn't great during the ceremony, he somehow was able to find time to re-record our vows again so that none of our heartfelt words were missed on our big day. The best part? You couldn't even tell that anything was missed! The quality of the videography was beautiful and his team was able to make provide us with memorable video we'll get to enjoy for years to come.

was so fun and easy to work with. We just received our videos less than 2 months after the wedding - they are so artfully done and perfectly capture the day.
Matthew and his team at Blitz Studios were wonderful to work with for our wedding. From the moment I reached out to Matthew, he was nothing but kind and responsive to my questions....
Prior to our wedding day, we talked thoroughly about our timeline and the major aspects that we wanted film. On our wedding day, we worked with Jasmine and Sam, who were amazing, and caught all of the perfect shots from our day. They both were creative with the all of the different shots they took and worked seamlessly with our photographer. We received so many compliments on our highlight video and how beautifully it was filmed, especially drone footage of our church and where we took pictures. One of my favorite things about the video is how Blitz Studios took the best part of our speeches and synced them up to the video. I would highly recommend Matthew and Blitz studios for your wedding!
Matt did an AMAZING job on our wedding video and he was so easy to work with. We can't recommend him enough!

s and budget and ensuring that we were happy with the final product. On the day of our wedding Matt was prompt and easily engaged with the wedding party, as well as working seamlessly with the photographer to capture meaningful moments. His artistic sensibility is evident in the unique angles and innovative shots he captured, as well as parts of the vows and speeches that he included. The drone footage is a must! It was so cool to see the church from high above and end the video with a city line view. I know that the videographer decision can be stressful; I highly recommend Blitz Studios!

back the big day "live" and see the smiles of so many of their friends. Both of the team members from Blitz were professional and had amazing shots, they traveled all the way to Pittsburgh and we could not be happier with the outcome. Very well priced, amazing content. Thank you!
They were very professional and our highlight video still makes me cry. It was amazing.

With the uncertainty surrounding the pandemic, we were fortunately able to book them last minute. They were extremely helpful, quick to respond, and made everything easy for us on the big day.
Blitz Studios exemplifies excellence and professionalism at its highest level. If you are debating on a videographer for your wedding, it should no longer be a question. Book Matthew and Ashley to ensure that you and your spouse are able to capture the essence of your wedding day

ge that fit our needs and our budget, allowing us to get the PERFECT wedding video and have the perfect wedding. From the first time we contacted him, he was professional, easy to communicate with, and flexible. I am seriously blown away by how good of a job Matt did! I knew he was good, but our video had us both sobbing happy tears as we re-lived our special day, as well as sat in-awe of his work. Matt provided drone shots which are always cool, as well as some amazing and unique angles of our details, getting ready moments and the ceremony, of course. Without any direction on our part, Matt used our vows as voiceover throughout the video, which was such a cool surprise for us. I loved this, and thought it was so cool to hear our vows rather than just a random song (no shade to songs though!). I loved having Matt's joyful and fun personality around for the day, and loved that he was interactive with our bridal party and family. It felt like he was there to work, as well as celebrate with us, too! We are so thankful for the amazing quality of Matt's work and recognize the time and energy he put into creating a special product for us. He went above and beyond, and because of him, Alex, myself, and our families are able to revisit our special day at any time. Thank you for everything Matt. I truly cannot express how grateful we are.

ew of our family members attend. We decided we should get a videographer to capture our day so we could share it with family who could not be there. With only a few weeks until our wedding, we found Matt and he was fantastic to work with every step of the way! The day of our wedding could not have gone more smoothly. Matt was professional, yet fun and enthusiastic throughout the day and very accommodating to all our needs. He made us feel comfortable and relaxed while still making sure he got all the footage we asked for. We received our videos sooner than anticipated and could not be happier with how they turned out. Our family members were beyond happy that they had something special from our wedding that they could have. While our original wedding plan did not include having a videographer, I would highly suggest getting one and having Matt from Blitz Studio be the one to capture your special day!
We were on the fence about videography but we are so glad we went with Blitz Studios. Matt captured the memories of our day perfectly and we love having the videos of our speeches,...
first dance, parent dances, cake cutting, ceremony, and a highlight video. Matt was patient and responsive while helping work through all of my questions before engaging with him and helped us select a package that made the most sense for us. He worked great with our photographer the day-of and was professional, easy to work with, and reliable. We got our videos back quickly and received a lot of footage from our day - more than what other videographers offer - and at a competitive rate. Most of all, the videos were high quality. So glad we worked with Matt!
With everything going on with Covid 19 we needed a flexible videographer. That was Matt! We had booked him for our wedding on June 20,2020 before we knew everything would change. H...
e was timely and understanding of all our needs. We wanted the full ceremony footage, a highlight video, and special airplane montage of my wife and I first flight together after marriage. We even asked for all the raw footage, something he has never given out before. Boy did he deliver! The quality of the video looks amazing and in 4k, he was even able to take some drone video. We even threw a curve ball with covid since our guests were not able to come we asked for a Live Facebook stream. He said "Sure, I will figure something out." We then worked with the church and on the day of, all of our family from 5 different states were able to watch us walk down the aisle LIVE! Not only that but he was understanding of your money and willingly renegotiated knowing our reception had to be cancelled. He had an energetic attitude and great ideas for shots! We would definitely recommend Blitz Studios and would work with them again!!
We absolutely love the videos of the raw footage as we await for the edited version. It is hard to find words to describe the talent that went into this footage. It was perfect. ...
We had no recommendations when we went looking for videographer out of state. The quality of the footage inside the church was amazing on top of all the angles captured. From the beginning of our first interview with Blitz Studio we were confident that this was the right person for us and it proved to be even better than we expected. It was 93 degrees and never did they stop for a break and kept the enthusiasm of taking more and more footage. A pleasant wonderful experience. Thank You Matt for making a long day bearable.
Matt was so great to work with. We had to change our wedding date and he was flexible and changed with us! He was from over 2 hours away and was able to drive out to film for us fo...
