mely disrespectful and unprofessional. He ripped out my hand tied beaded extensions from my hair which I just got put in two weeks ago. This costs over $2000 + dollars per time I get my hair done with extensions and I was coming to Blo Dry Bar for weekly washes. The employee was 25 minutes late for my appointment, then asked me if he could take a break before my appointment. He said he had not had a break all day and this is actually not the first time they have complained about not getting breaks while I have been in the salon. I told him I had a hard deadline where I had to leave at 5:30. Mind you my appointment was supposed to be at 4:15-5:15 pm. Most of the time I would have said that was fine but that would have put me an entire half hour + behind. I had booked a blow out and also deep conditioning. Because he was running late he barely washed my hair and didn’t even use conditioner, which is ridiculous. He said he would use a leave in spray. With extensions you need to blow dry them about 80-90% of the way before using a round brush or you will damage your hair by the pulling. I asked for them to be blow dried before which barely happened. Then he continued to pull on the extensions. He hit me with the blo dryer multiple times in the head and after the third time it happened it was clear he was frustrated because he wanted the break. The tugging got so bad at one point that I finally said something about how he needed to be more careful. Because we ended up being 20 minutes late to getting my hair done I just asked them to change the card info on file I booked the appointment with. I was charged the full amount for deep conditioning and a normal blow out yet I did not get a full service whatsoever. I went home to find out he completely ripped the bead from my left front extension out of my head. He ripped out a chunk of hair along with it. This is ridiculous. I want my extension to be paid for to be replaced as well as my money back for the appointment. I have now talked to Veronica at the Hollywood location. She informed me the owner who was supposed to contact me and she has not done so. I do not want anyone else to have this experience.
