in and save the day. The venue is beautiful and spacious enough to make all of our guests feel comfortable and able to socially distance in the midst of COVID. Leela Rea and her team were incredibly helpful and generous in assisting us with decorations. Easy to work with, friendly, and great value for the location. We would definitely recommend going with BLOC, especially if you like a blend of whimsical, craftsman, and modern architecture and design.

Myself and my husband wanted an intimate and very small wedding specifically indoors that was our style, and initially we struggled finding a space that best represented us and our vision for the day, until I came across BLOC Venue in the Roseville area. The aesthetics of the space are something else, with a plethora of elements containing a wide open concept, various brick walls, black and wooden fixtures, and a jaw-dropping plant wall as you enter; when we came across BLOC Venue, we knew right away that it was where we wanted to say We Do! In reaching out to their impeccable staff, Leela and her team are truly incredible, intentional, and personable about coming alongside you as a couple and help you bring your vision to life with their ongoing support, design ideas, needed advice, and an all around amazing coordinating service. Not knowing what the year 2020 would hold for us and our wedding, Leela and her staff personally checked in with us frequently with updates regarding the venue and ever-changing Covid-19 policies.. and I kid you not, literally moved mountains to pull off our wedding for us. As stressful and frustrating as a year it was, I truly believe that if we had not gone with BLOC Venue and Leela and her team, our wedding would not have happened and we would have probably had to postpone. They were there with us every step of the way! From numerous calls, texts, and emails going back and fourth about having a Plan A, Plan B, Plan C, and so on (Covid-19 brides totally understand what this means), of a timeline, layout, setting up the space, etc. The day of our wedding, I was truly blown away by the pure kindness and professionalism that was so evident in every single detail that was in the space, the flexibility and understanding of dealing with my perfectionist self, the outstanding communication, and the energy that Leela and her whole team embodied with ensuring that regardless, 'Love Always Wins'. There were many moments when we doubted ourselves and didn't even think we could pull off getting married in the middle of a global pandemic while California and its wild fires were burning down, but the love + encouragement + support that Leela and her team provided to us every step of the way were unmatched. Hands down, BLOC Venue and the people that represent it are top of the line in the wedding industry, and if I could I would do it all over again to relive our day and our moment... because it was so worth it!!!!!!

hard-hat tour, we were basically taking a shot in the dark when choosing to go with this venue for our reception. We had seen the vision of the owners of BLOC and we loved what we saw! That being said, it was definitely a bit stressful through their construction, but exciting to see the space come together. Tanya was there for our walk through with vendors, and she answered all of our questions and was SO helpful! (There were a ton of questions!) The one recommendation I would give when looking at this venue is know what you want before your tour so that you know exactly which questions to ask. DO YOUR RESEARCH!! Make sure to ask questions and get clarifications so you know exactly what you’re getting into and you’re not left with any surprises. This venue is beautiful! However, and I can’t stress this enough, just make sure you’ve done your research and you know exactly what you’re getting into.
