Block One Events

ace is very unique, I love the round dimmable lights, and the extra hanging patio lights give off such a warm vibe. Having the outdoor amphitheater was perfect for our ceremony. It is entirely possible to fit 50 white chairs (rented separately - from outside vendor) on the rocks. This worked perfectly for the size of our gathering, we fit the majority in the chairs, and the rest stood on the patio that overlooks the river/back area. Paul made the process very easy, we picked up the key fobs the day before and were able to get everything set up easily the morning of. Paul also quickly handled several requests/questions that I had about the space ahead of time. Making sure that the grass in the back was cut down, and that the exterior outlets were open for use. I did notice that they had recently power washed the patio/exterior the week of my event. I don't know if this was routine property maintenance, but it was much appreciated! During the entire planning process I was able to go and walk the interior/exterior of the venue many times to get updated measurements and plan my design. It was very easy to communicate with staff and they answered questions promptly. Tables, interior chairs (black), sound equipment, portable bar, trash cans, wood partitions, and other items all were included in cost, so you don't have to rent the basics. There are numerous outlets throughout the venue, so the need for extension cords being strewn across the floor is minimalized. Cost wise, this venue can't be beat. You have the space to design specifically for your event, and having the background of the Poudre river makes this a hidden Fort Collins event venue gem.

field and a trail next to it for some sweet nature shots. The venue had a beautiful outdoor ceremony site and a spacious reception hall that made for perfect pictures. Plus, the staff are super friendly and easy to work with. Totally recommend this spot if you're looking for a great venue!

agic. We had about 100 people at the event including vendors/assistants, and we had plenty of room for catering, bar service, dancing, and seating. We also had several family members with severe mobility issues, and they had no trouble enjoying the event thanks to the venue's accomodations (elevators, ramps, etc.) The staff were helpful without being overbearing/stressful, and their pricing and vendor policies were extremely competitive. I would recommend Block One for anyone looking to host a beautiful and low fuss event!

et into the building & communication was very clear. Pricing is also great! Would definitely recommend. Note: the bathrooms can be a little tricky for guests to find, but no complaints!
