t of the tents for our wedding on a private farm. The food was absolutely amazing with guests raving throughout the night. All of the Blood's team were so kind and helpful. The bartenders even remembered our (the bride and groom's) drink of preference to deliver us one last drink before closing the bar down for the night. We would definitely recommend working with this family business for all of your catering and rental needs for your big day!

fairly late in my process as we had a venue change about mid-way through our wedding planning. Tanya was SO helpful and kind and gave us the reassurance that we were in great hands (and not too delayed in getting them onboard). From the first visit to their showroom, I felt at ease. Tanya helped show me the various options and we were able to set up a table setting with the various options so I could see how it would all look. I also was able to come in closer to the wedding date so I could see everything fully set up (we ended up bringing in our own runners + napkins I sourced second-hand) with our wedding favors and snap a few photos for the catering company so they knew how to set everything up. It was very simple and easy to change and adapt the rental list as we went along and all of the prices were very fair and reasonable (including set up and tear down). While I didn’t interact with the staff personally for the drop-off, everything seemed to come together very easily and I know my other vendors appreciated being able to work with the Bloods team for the event. The only consideration I would share is that I found Bloods rental list a little bit more simple than some of the others you may find in the area. But in all honesty, that simplicity made it SO much more easier to choose and all of the pieces were great and looked great together (and plus side, you really are saving so much money by not getting that vintage style water goblet that no one will really care about or remember… believe me). If you’re still reading this review…. Stop and just contact Bloods for your rental needs. You absolutely won’t be disappointed.

or rental/catering vendors we came across marketing literature and reviews from other VT companies that looked a lot flashier and refined, but don’t overlook this company – they were fantastic start to finish. Without knowing much more than what we saw on the internet, we took a chance and met with our contact Tanya Blood (a true family business!)…. Tanya and her team were a huge part in making our wedding exactly what we wanted. It was very clear that Tanya knows the business… she was very responsive, anticipated our needs, provided us options and gave her honest opinion when we were struggling with decisions. From Tanya, to the owners Brendan and Sarah Blood, to the rental crew (Scott, Kelsie – thank you again) and the catering staff… everyone was great to work with and extremely accommodating. If you’re wondering whether there is value in having your caterer do your rentals too, there is! We originally thought we would only rent from them, we are glad that we went with both. Their equipment is beautiful and the food was 10/10… our guest are still raving about it. We opted for a casual BBQ buffet style meal… everything we great… their mac and cheese is a must. From our research they were also priced very competitively compared to other companies in the Vermont area. Do not overlook this company, they were excellent. Highly, highly recommend!

asy to read, and very clear exactly what was included and what it cost. I ended up making so many changes over 14 months, and nothing was lost in the changes. We were able to do a tasting at the Blood's catering headquarters to make our final food choices. The rental equipment was delivered, set up, and picked up as promised. The delivery people were nice and efficient. The caterers serving and preparing the food on the day of the wedding were quiet and smiling. And the food was DELICIOUS! Many of our guests told us it was the best wedding food they have ever had.

paella. The Blood’s serving staff were fantastic - conscientious and professional. Of course, Sara at Blood’s was a dream to work with and made everything seem effortless. She worked incredibly well with our awesome Wedding Coordinator (Tiffany at Detailed Engagements) and handled a couple of wedding curveballs with aplomb. I don’t know how we could have had a better wedding experience. Thank you, Sara and Blood’s!

and it turned out perfectly! Everyone still raves about the food. The care that the staff put into every detail was absolutely extraordinary. Everything was so beautiful and I felt like they really listened to my vision and understood the feel that we were going for. They are hands-down THE BEST vendor I worked with during the planning process and I would strongly recommend them to anyone that needs a caterer or a rental company. Their prices were more than fair, and the services they provided from start to finish were so much more than we could have imagined. hey'd get right back to me the next week (it was a friday I emailed) understandable... I didnt hear back for a month until I emailed them again looking for the price list... they had added almost five dollars a plate to the price... completely unhappy and feeling misled I found a different catering company to work with.
