BLOOM LAKE BARN

ue & Adam were great to work with, so kind and professional and were always there to answer our questions. Monique was on site at our wedding and was there for any questions we had has well which we really appreciated. Our wedding was perfect, and we loved our venue and our team of vendors. If you’re second guessing choosing Bloom Lake Barn as your venue, don’t! Just do it. You will not regret it.

ing venue (amazing bridal suite) but the owners were the kindest people to work with which made our experience even better.

't want or need to tour anywhere else! We proceeded to book our wedding date just a few short days after our tour. Monique and Adam were so easy to work with, and so flexible! They made the wedding planning process a breeze. The day of the wedding everything was perfectly set up as we had planned. I got SO MANY compliments from my guests on how beautiful a venue it was. I am so thankful to have gotten married at such a gorgeous venue. I couldn't imagine having gotten married anywhere else!

et ready in the beautiful bridal suite and have both ceremony and reception in one location. The barn is very well maintained and just a gorgeous setting. Overall, I would recommend to all. It truly was the most perfect day.

one! We visited in November 2019, booked right away for June 2020, but then had to postpone due to the pandemic. We were so excited to finally be able to celebrate with family and friends at Bloom Lake, and Adam and Monique were flexible and accommodating throughout our time working with them over the years. All of our guests were blown away by the venue! We had many kids in attendance as well, and they loved running and playing outdoors together. Bloom Lake has every amenity you need in a venue. My favorite aspects of Bloom Lake Barn are the lights and chandeliers on the top level, the bridal suite, and the beautiful scenery for photography and videography. I would highly recommend this venue, and am sure that (after getting to see Bloom Lake during our wedding last week) we will have friends and family members getting married here in the future as well! We cannot rave about our experience enough! It was amazing!

were even running around during the reception and making sure everything was perfect for the couple and their guests. You don't see that a lot as venue owners, typically they just rent it out and leave the small things up to the couple or coordinators to figure out! I would highly recommend getting married here! Especially if you want beautiful photos and state of the art service!

friends. Upon arrival all the chairs were set for the audience. All I needed to do was set up my electric piano and a few chairs for my guitar players. There were a few audience members that were in wheelchairs or motorized scooters and they had no troubles getting into the barn to enjoy their afternoon of music. Such a beautiful venue to host any gathering you would like to have.

the bridal suite!).

ience with Bloom Lake Barn. We were so disappointed and hurt about how our experience went with this venue. We were so excited to have our wedding there and to work with the owners when we initially got engaged. Then COVID hit, and our 200 person wedding just felt impossibly dangerous in September 2020. We simply did not feel comfortable hosting our wedding when there were so many similar events this past year that resulted in COVID outbreaks. Moreover, we have immediate family members who are compromised and would be at high-risk at such an event. With the decision to postpone, we simply wanted to be able to rebook another available date in the future with Bloom Lake Barn. We were shocked when they told us that we couldn’t have any Friday or Saturday dates in 2021, even though there were plenty available. We were told these dates were reserved for prospective future couples, so that their business could make extra revenue in light of the financial losses due to COVID. Essentially they wanted postponing-couples to take up their weekday slots that never get filled. This just felt like a huge slap in the face to us as existing clients who had already put down a deposit, invested both time and money into planning and had signed a contract. While we completely understand that businesses are really hurting because of COVID, we also feel that companies must have their own contingencies in place to remain financially secure and not put that burden on their clients. If a business is going to choose to make decisions like this, they should sure bet they are going to get bad reviews. All of our other vendors helped us to find another date without even charging a fee. While we didn't expect this exact service from Bloom Lake Barn, we at least expected that they would allow us to select a weekend date if it was available. They didn't even give us that option with an upcharge or additional fee. It didn't feel true to the contract, as our contract had said that if a reschedule was decided, the owners would "use all reasonable efforts to work with client to reschedule the event at a later date if necessary, subject to Bloom Lake Barn’s availability". They had availability in this case, they were just withholding it so they could book extra weddings. The ultimate big kicker though, was that when we asked if we could cancel altogether so we could find a venue that could give us a weekend date, they wouldn't give us our deposit of $2500 back. We felt like we had no choices. We could not possibly select a weekday for various reasons, so we ended up canceling with Bloom Lake and losing our deposit. We simply felt like they had no care in the world for us as clients. In talking to other vendors and businesses, they were all absolutely shocked that we didn't get the opportunity to cancel and have our deposit refunded. All in all, I would strongly discourage you from booking here as they don't honor their contract and they don't seem to value existing customers.

in Minnesota. Out of all the places we toured, Bloom Lake Barn was by far the most updated and stunning of all. You can really feel the love they have put into this place and the little details to make your day special. It was my dream to have a barn reception! The bridal suite, wooden tables, updated bathrooms, and rustic vibe really add to the charm of Bloom Lake Barn. Our guests were talking about how gorgeous this place was for days!

ll never forget. They provided us with every answer to our questions and were always there when we needed them and through uncertain times like covid-19. Trust me, you will not find a better wedding venue that compares to Bloom Lake Barn.

tural beauty of Bloom Lake Barn are like no other! It’s such a magical place! Not to mention Adam and Monique were such a joy to work with throughout the entire process! They were so accommodating, flexible, attentive and responsive. Such a sweet couple with the kindest hearts! We are so grateful we had the opportunity to get married at Bloom Lake Barn and highly recommend to any newly weds! Thank you so much for everything Adam and Monique, we will forever hold our special day at Bloom Lake Barn close to our hearts!

f went like a dream. When I was looking for a venue, I looked for a place that I knew I wouldn't have to "dress up" to make it look the way I wanted. Bloom Lake delivered all that and more. Everyone we talked to commented on the beauty of the venue, and the functionality and practicality of the multiple spaces. Hosting our wedding here was easily one of the best decisions we made!

or a great experience - the grounds layout, decor, bride and groom suites, etc. Monique and Adam were also very helpful and accommodating. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to have our big day!

y and seamless. The barn feels so romantic with all the overhanging lights; which is perfect for an indoor ceremony like our when the weather decides to change. Highly recommend Bloom Lake for a barn wedding venue!

's also a fire pit for a bonfire! The landscaping is beautiful, especially where we got married outside. (It would be beautiful for an indoor ceremony as well.) I still cannot get over how freaking GORGEOUS the both inside and outside of the barn is. The lighting is incredible. It all felt like a fairy tale!!! It got a little warm (We got married late August.), but the airflow in the barn is better than most and fans kept it cool enough for everyone to still have a great time dancing! And, of course, Monique and Adam (the renovators and owners) were so friendly, laid back and helpful! They were great to work with and helped our day go so smoothly! They put so much work into this venue, and it shows! Can't thank them enough!

truly invested in making sure your big day is amazing. We could not have asked to work with better venue owners. The barn and grounds are absolutely breathtaking and truly does not need much added to make your big day perfect. We received non - stop compliments from all of our guests and every single one of our wedding photos are gorgeous. If you are looking for a stunning, rustic venue, then good news ... you have found it!

his favorite and most beautiful venues. The surrounding area is also beautiful, and so many things for your guests to do. You can't go wrong with this venue.

were a dream to work with. They were great at answering any questions we had and went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. I would highly recommend getting married at Bloom Lake Barn.

at and they are so fast at responding to your needa before the wedding and even the day of. I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue.

o responsive, friendly, organized and accommodating. Our day was a dream come true and I would highly recommend to all couples searching for the perfect rustic venue to celebrate their special day!

processes as far answering questions to letting us visit to plan the big day! We couldn’t be more excited about our big day!(:

ding as needed. Rain or shine every wedding I have attended has been more than what the bride has dreamed!

and looked no further. Adam and Monique have been so kind and helpful to us already and we are so excited to continue working with them over the next nine months! So happy we chose Bloom Lake Barn!

igate smoothly. Our wedding day was dreamy and we are so glad to have it at Bloom Lake Barn!

arbor and our dinner in the barn. We were able to use whatever licensed caterer we wanted and whatever licensed bartender we wanted, which provided us a lot of options and flexibility. Monique provided table set up options to assist us in staging the dinner and allowed us to tour the barn a number of times with our parents. Adam also went out of his way to get hay bales for us to use as decorations. Not to mention how incredibly beautiful the venue is! I would highly recommend Bloom Lake Barn to anyone looking for a rustic barn wedding.

e you have a perfect day. The venue allows you to have the best of all worlds; a beautiful outdoor area with pews for a ceremony and a rustic barn loft for your reception. If you are having a hard time finding an outdoor wedding venue in MN (I searched for months) then I would suggest to go see Bloom Lake Barn, I have a feeling you will be as happy as we were :)

ificence and beauty brought me to tears! My favorite things about it were the vaulted ceilings, church windows and handmade wooden farm tables built by Adam, himself. Just gorgeous. We went back to see the barn again in June after the renovations were complete and WOW! Monique and Adam have poured their hearts and souls into this place and it shows. It's one of the best barn venues around if you do not want to get married on a farm but are looking for that rustic charm. Unfortunately for us, we had to back out of our contract due to unforeseen circumstances. Fortunately for YOU who are recently engaged and looking for a venue, June 16, 2017 is now available! But you'll have to act fast because June is a popular month to get married and the date will book quickly! Email or call them to set up a tour. You will not regret choosing Bloom Lake Barn!

rly, there were still cow stalls in the bottom level of the barn at the time. After talking with Adam and Monique it was clear to us that this venue was going to be something special, and boy were we right. The detail and work this couple has put into the barn is beyond perfect. The barn itself is very large. With good weather, there are several beautiful options for an outdoor ceremony. If you luck out like we did and have rain, no worries at all because the inside of the barn is spectacular as well. Since the barn is so large there is plenty of room to have your guests retreat downstairs for a social hour while the upper level is flipped for the reception. No one felt crowded or uncomfortable which was important to me. Our guests could not stop talking about how much they loved the venue, even though it was raining. Monqiue and Adam are wonderful to work with. They are always willing to answer questions, respond to questions quickly and are flexible. They allowed us to coordinate with the couple getting married the day before us which saved us some money on lights and decor. We looked at several other barns before choosing Bloom Lake. You won't find more helpful owners and a more stunning one then this.

e we toured the farm! We just couldn't resist the rustic charm of the venue. It has a flowing and spacious floor plan, yet it is divided into so many different areas for your guests to hang out. We can't wait to invite all of our friends and family to a genuinely beautiful country wedding!

Bloom Lake Barn. Monique and Adam have done such a wonderful job transforming the barn, but also keeping the integrity of some of the old equipment. We couldn't be more excited for our big day! :)

wedding than you already are. It's the only venue we looked at! We couldn't possibly go anywhere else!

ch an amazing job restoring the barn and turning it into a truly magical place. It has so many unique features that make it so special. They have really thought of everything. I can't wait to see what it looks like when it is totally done! If you are looking for a place that has everything then contact them! It has so much elegance, charm, natural beauty, and uniqueness you will fall in love with it right away like we did! I can't wait until next summer! :)

ful! This is definitely the best barn venue around!

om Lake was our first visit. After we met Monique and Adam, we didn't even feel the need to look any further. BLB is so much more than a venue, it is the whole package. If you are looking for the perfect venue, with a supportive and caring couple to help make your day exactly the way you imagined, Bloom Lake Barn is it!

tored and renovated! A dream venue!
