Bloom Magic Weddings is a studio based floral design group in Highland Park, IL. We source flowers from top growers and flower farms, international distributors and our own cut flower garden. BMW serves weddings and other special events all over the Chicago area and South Wisconsin.

Our favorite aspect of working with couples is getting to know them, and designing flowers that tell their unique love story. We are a boutique studio. and take a limited number of weddings each year, so we can ensure every couple gets our attention and highest service and quality.
As "green florists", we practice sustainability by sourcing locally, using eco friendly designs, composting, and helping couples repurpose their flowers during and after their weddings.
We are members of the Slowflowers Society and we are also active in the Chicago Green Wedding Alliance. We do weddings that are small in backyards and large hotel ballroom events and everything in between.
We also do rehearsal dinners, showers, engagement parties, etc. A minimum purchase is required.

s to using Kirsten/BMW initially was her proximity to and familiarity with our original wedding venue in Evanston, IL, as well as the fact that she sustainably sources her flowers and works with what’s in season.
At our first meeting, she took the time to understand the desired aesthetic of the wedding and the meeting didn’t feel rushed. There was constant communication leading into the original May 2020 wedding date, then the re-scheduling and re-design for our May 2021 wedding date. She was supportive and positive throughout every COVID curveball we encountered. She also referred our wedding photographer, and together, those two were a great team.

detail, and the creativity. When we had to postpone for COVID, Bloom Magic was incredibly flexible and said despite the date change we would be able to create our initial dream. That is why we were beyond disappointed the day of the wedding to see that many of the flowers were dead before the ceremony even started and those that had not died were not at all what we had discussed in our two years of planning. When we shared our feedback, all we got was essentially a "sorry I did my best". Never throughout the planning were we told that they would not be able to execute on our vision and had no reason to believe that it would end up how it did. We were very open sharing feedback throughout the process and truly believed we were on the same page. This was the vendor we were most excited to work with and ultimately the one we were most disappointed with.

From the first day of planning to the day of the event we were so impressed. Kirsten’s vision and expertise was so helpful, especially since I only had a general idea and theme for what I wanted. She took that and turned it into something incredible!
My husband loves rosemary and she made a point not only to include in the boutonnière but also to weave it deftly into other arrangements, including (most sweetly) the sweetheart table. We were so touched by her attention to detail. The love she has for and puts into her work is evident.
On the day of, Kirsten and her team stuck to our schedule, were extremely helpful and definitely went above and beyond to to make our day amazing. Working with Bloom
Magic was easy and straightforward - which is so important and appreciated for a busy, stressed bride!! And they were prompt and efficient at the wedding.

Kirsten takes care our wedding as if it's her best friend's. Everyone in the wedding team (The bride, groom, parents, bride's maid and groom's men, flour girl) has his/her own specifically designed piece of flowers.
Kirsten arrived early on the day, and put on the flowers for each of us in a timely manner; In addition, to our surprise, Kirsten prepares additional lovely designed flower piece for our wedding cake and sweetheart table.
Working with Kirsten and Bloom Magic Wedding is a part of our beautiful memory in our most important day in life. We would definitely recommend BMW to the folks who plan their wedding in the Greater Chicago Area -
