Bloomin' Wild

Flowers were very pretty but not what I originally ordered. I was never called but they did help fix the situation as best as possible

Amy was a dream to work with. She sat with me for an hour helping me envision my wedding flowers without requiring me to pay a deposit first. She was very honest about what flowers would work best given the time of year our wedding was. I was quite happy with her prices, too! Her team delivered our flowers at a very reasonable cost. I was in love with my flowers, too. My highest remarks!

Although the flowers were fine, we had an awful time working with Bloomin' Wild. The first time I met with the owner, I took a day off work to make the 2 hour, one-way trip and she didn't even show for the appointment. Instead, I met with a staff member who was unprepared to show me anything, had no idea what flowers I had already discussed with the owner over the phone, and clearly was not expecting me. Still, flowers were not a huge priority for us in the wedding, so we hired them for the job considering the limited options in Chestertown. Two weels before the wedding, we received an email from the owner telling us that because we hadn't sent her a deposit, it was too late to order the flowers for our wedding, but she had never mentioned anything about a deposit or a deadline! We had to scramble to completely change our flowers according to what she says she could get on short notice (for an additional fee) or we would have been completely without bouquets for the wedding. Worst of all, when we asked her if we could source a particular flower on our own and bring it to her the day before the wedding to include in the arrangements, she said she could make it work. So, my fiance and I spent 2 hours and considerable expense driving to a farmer outside of town to purchase additional flowers from him (Galena Blooms, who were great and we highly recommend them.) I only found out weeks after the wedding that the flower crowns and bouquets had arrived WITHOUT THOSE FLOWERS and my bridal party had hastily inserted the flowers themselves, so I wouldn't know. I heard later from some other local vendors that the owner inherited the shop and is trying her best, but just needs a little more organization and communication with clients.

Bloomin’ Wild was a great florist! We kept of flowers simple and had bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres and an arrangement that hung on the arch that my husband and I stood under when we got married. They even put the arrangement on the arch for us!
