searching and interviewing florist vendors to not just find someone who could create my vision, but also ssomeone who had a true passion and vision for floral artistry. I wanted to put most of the focus on creating a flower arch for the church entryway and my requirement was it had to be moveable so I could reuse it for our photo booth. Sadly, some of the vendors I talked to either really pushed back on the idea because it was too much work for them or they wanted to charge an enormous amount without even giving me any idea what they would be creating (they literally replied with a quote and nothing else). I think for some vendors, it is just a volume game to make money and not so much an art - which is a shame! Flowers deserve more respect! Susan's reply reassured me this was not the core of her business and she had a genuine love for what she does. After talking to her I was SO inspired and assured by her attention to detail and her excitement to take on this arch. She really put me at ease and reminded me why I put so much intention into finding the right vendor. The arch was absolutely gorgeous, she worked within my budget, and she beamed with ideas every time we talked. I was so fascinated to learn about her commitment to the Slow Flower Movement and sustainable practices. She said to me, that if Harry and Meghan's florist was able to design their wedding flowers sustainably, there's no reason why she couldn't either. I mean, how can you not be inspired by that?? I loved working with her and her team and I highly recommend them to anyone who has a love for art and beauty; bloominCouture is truly a dream to work with!

floral design is unmatched. Together with Natalie from Fern and Maple Events, Susan transformed our wedding venue into the most beautiful space that was picture perfect. Susan was able to work with our budget to come up with a floral design that was absolutely stunning without breaking the bank. From our initial meeting to the day of our wedding, Susan was always available to help talk through the design plan and make sure that what she was envisioning aligned with what we were thinking.
