About this vendor
Your wedding cake should be as unforgettable as the day itself.
At Blooming Cakes, we create bespoke buttercream wedding cakes that blend fine artistry with exceptional flavor. Inspired by nature, florals, and timeless design, each cake is handcrafted to become a meaningful part of your celebration—not just a dessert, but an edible work of art.
Based in Marin County, California, we proudly serve couples throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, Napa Valley, Sonoma Wine Country, and beyond. Every design begins with your story. Whether you're dreaming of romantic buttercream florals, textured palette knife paintings, modern elegance, or an organically inspired design, each cake is thoughtfully created to complement your wedding and reflect your unique style.
Behind Blooming Cakes is founder and cake artist Celia Le, whose passion for pastry and artistry comes together in every creation. After training in a Michelin-starred kitchen, she discovered her love for transforming cakes into expressive works of edible art. Her signature style combines painterly buttercream florals, refined craftsmanship, and harmonious color palettes that have been featured in Together Journal, The Wed, D'AMOUR, and Glamour.
Every cake is baked from scratch using premium ingredients and carefully curated flavor combinations that are as memorable as their beauty. From our signature LemBerry to Lavender Blueberry and Coconut Pandan, we believe every bite should be worthy of the occasion.
Our process is intentionally personal. During your private tasting experience, we'll get to know you, your wedding vision, and the details that matter most, ensuring your cake feels effortlessly connected to your celebration.
Whether you're planning an intimate gathering overlooking the bay or a grand celebration in wine country, Blooming Cakes would be honored to create a cake that becomes one of the most photographed—and remembered—details of your wedding day.
We proudly serve Marin County, San Francisco, Napa, Sonoma, the East Bay, Silicon Valley, and destinations throughout Northern California.

I cannot say more great things about Blooming Cakes! For starters the tasting soirée with my mom, MOH and Trang was so much fun! One of the best experience through out my entire we...
dding process! All the cakes were to die for and so elegant and gorgeous to look at. We created my dream cake, ever detailed sketched out! The handcrafted sugar flowers were beyond my wildest dream! And the taste…. we went with coconut pandan, and it was amazing! So moist and flavorful, not overly sweet. Incredibly unique! Everyone kept asking for more! One of my favorite parts of my whole day!
Blooming Cakes produced an absolutely to die for cake! Their various flavors are inspired (we went with Beautiful in White which has a velvet crumb and brown sugar/hint of coffee c...
aramel swirl as part of the filling). Alex the manager personally dropped off the cake, safe and sound despite the rainy and windy winter wedding day and sent us a picture that it arrived safely! Cake was decorated elegantly including a cascading buttercream ribbon and other beautiful details. Can you tell I'm obsessed?!?

d about it. She perfectly captured the design I envisioned, with intricate details and a flawless finish that made the cake the centerpiece of our celebration. For our anniversary, she outdid herself again! The cake was beautifully crafted, and the flavors were just as wonderful as we remembered. Her attention to detail, creativity, and dedication to her craft are truly unmatched. If you’re looking for someone who can bring your dream cakes to life, she is the one to call. Thank you for making our special days even sweeter!
First of all, major apologies for the lack of pictures! My husband and I were SO excited to try Trang’s famous cakes that we forgot to take pictures before diving in. We got two fl...
avors to taste test - Pandan Coconut and Chocolate. As tasting cakes, they were about 5” tall and 2-3” in diameter. You get more than enough mouthfuls to make your decision. I had to fly these down to Texas since that’s where our wedding was. Four gel ice packs did the trick! Trang packed them really well and was super helpful throughout the entire process. The buttercream did harden a bit from the cold but leaving them out on the table for 15min got them back to the normal texture and flavor was not compromised at all. Very impressive for these cakes since Trang only uses real ingredients- no preservatives, no artificial stuff. Both cakes were tasty and erred on the less sweet spectrum compared to other patisseries, which is one of the reasons why we chose Blooming Cakes. The chocolate cake is made from Vahlrona chocolates. The Pandan and coconut are made from SCRATCH! She blended the Pandan leaves in a blender and hand scraped out the coconut from the coconut fruit! This level of work makes her cakes VERY affordable compared to Korean cake shops such as Paris Baguette where they use artificial stuff. We decided on the Pandan and coconut because it’s more suitable to our guests’ palate and to us, it tasted less sweet than the chocolate. Thank you SO much, Trang!
We had the most incredible experience with Blooming Cakes, and we are beyond thrilled with the masterpiece that was our wedding cake. From the very beginning, we knew we were in fo...
r something special. The fine dining cake tasting felt like a luxurious culinary journey, with flavors so unique and complex, we couldn’t put them into words. Every bite was an experience in itself. The consultation was just as remarkable. Watching Trang bring our dream cake to life through her live sketching was a moment we’ll never forget. Her talent and attention to detail are unmatched, and her absurd amount of knowledge about the wedding industry gave us so much confidence that everything would go smoothly on the big day — and it did! It was seamless, professional, and reliable from start to finish. On the day of the wedding, the cake was even more breathtaking than we imagined. The hyper-realistic flowers were stunning, and our guests were absolutely blown away by both the design and the flavors. We received countless compliments, and we were so proud to have chosen Blooming Cakes to create something so beautiful and sentimental, completely custom to us.Thank you, Trang, for making our cake dreams come true. It was everything we hoped for and more!
