dding process! All the cakes were to die for and so elegant and gorgeous to look at. We created my dream cake, ever detailed sketched out! The handcrafted sugar flowers were beyond my wildest dream! And the taste…. we went with coconut pandan, and it was amazing! So moist and flavorful, not overly sweet. Incredibly unique! Everyone kept asking for more! One of my favorite parts of my whole day!

avors to taste test - Pandan Coconut and Chocolate. As tasting cakes, they were about 5” tall and 2-3” in diameter. You get more than enough mouthfuls to make your decision. I had to fly these down to Texas since that’s where our wedding was. Four gel ice packs did the trick! Trang packed them really well and was super helpful throughout the entire process. The buttercream did harden a bit from the cold but leaving them out on the table for 15min got them back to the normal texture and flavor was not compromised at all. Very impressive for these cakes since Trang only uses real ingredients- no preservatives, no artificial stuff. Both cakes were tasty and erred on the less sweet spectrum compared to other patisseries, which is one of the reasons why we chose Blooming Cakes. The chocolate cake is made from Vahlrona chocolates. The Pandan and coconut are made from SCRATCH! She blended the Pandan leaves in a blender and hand scraped out the coconut from the coconut fruit! This level of work makes her cakes VERY affordable compared to Korean cake shops such as Paris Baguette where they use artificial stuff. We decided on the Pandan and coconut because it’s more suitable to our guests’ palate and to us, it tasted less sweet than the chocolate. Thank you SO much, Trang!
