Owner Jill Stephens has taught floral design to high school and community college students for many years. Having always dreamt of owning her business, in 2006, she decided to take a leap of faith, and the idea for Blooming Events was born. Jill is passionate about weddings and strives to provide couples with stunning floral designs that truly make a statement. She is happy to work alongside you, sharing creative ideas and incorporating your personal touches into each unique arrangement. Her style is extensive and includes a wide range of themes, such as rustic, romantic, and vintage, along with nautical, country, and classic arrangements. Jill and her experienced team at Blooming Events can provide floral creations for events such as ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, and more. Jill is also committed to giving back to the local community and is an avid supporter of organizations such as Lindsey’s Dresses for Hope. Jill begins the creative process with a complimentary pre-wedding meeting. From here, she can gain invaluable insight into your desired event theme, size, and budget. She offers elegant creations such as bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages, along with flower crowns, centerpieces, and aisle decor. Additionally, the team at Blooming Events can create floral designs for altars, chuppahs, and decking areas. Jill is also happy to provide event setup, teardown, and delivery services for your special day.

Jill was so sweet and, even though we were only able to coordinate virtually, she showed up on the day of the wedding with everything just right. The flowers were beautiful and fresh and the arrangements were beautiful.

Jill was great! She was super helpful when it came to creating a specific design from all of the options I showed her from pinterest and when we got the flowers the day of they were amazing! If you are in the Gainsville, Ocala area I would for sure give Jill a call!

Blooming Events was the florist at my wife and I's wedding. They did a fantastic job, my wife still gets compliments on her bouquet just from wedding photos. The venue that we used actually cut all of there crepe myrtles the week before our wedding. Jill was able to fill the bare trees with flowers and leaves to make them look full again. You cannot go wrong with Jill at Blooming Events.

Jill from Blooming Events is amazing! She was so patient with me as I am so indecisive, and didn't really know what I wanted. She made the bouquets and centerpieces look absolutely gorgeous! For a very affordable price, Jill was also my day-of coordinator and I couldn't have done it without her! The day before the wedding, the ceremony was moved (thank you Florida weather) to a different outdoor location, and Jill was able to be flexible, then 45 minutes before the ceremony more severe weather made the ceremony move indoors. There's no way I would have remained calm and roll with the ceremony change without Jill coordinating it all. I worried about nothing on my wedding day, and that was due to knowing Jill was in charge of everything! Highly, highly recommend!

We loved Jill. First off she is very genuine and kind hearted which is important to both of us. As a bride, who has never planned a wedding before and was completely overwhelmed by everything there was to do she was extremely helpful with helping me pick out bouquets and a centerpiece for the reception that was both cost effective and in the colors we wanted and for the time of year we were getting married. She responded quickly to any correspondence, and always provided a new invoice for any updates made through the course of our contract, such as payments or any changes that I requested. We purchased centerpieces for the reception, bouquets for the bridal party, boutonnieres, and corsages from her, and everything looked and smelled beautiful. I was beyond ecstatic at how she made my vision for my bouquet come to live.

All I can say is amazing work. Jill worked with us and came up with beautiful floral designs that really added the extra touch to our wedding. They showed up early and had everything set up quickly and all the flowers were beautiful and in amazing shape. Overall an absolute pleasure to work with and we highly recommend this vendor.

I was really worried about getting florals for my wedding but Jill made it super easy! Her prices were great and she delivered them to my venue. She made them look exactly like the pictures I sent of what I wanted and even included a throwaway bouquet and petals for the flower girl. Highly recommend!

I had seen Jill's work with Blooming Events before but the table arrangements and ceremony venue flowers were so lovely. Her artistic use of color was amazing. So many of the guests spoke of our beautiful it was. We highly recommend this vendor.

Working with Jill for the flowers for my wedding was an awesome experience. She is such a great person and is an expert at what she does. I had no idea what kind of flowers I really wanted in the vases I had made but she had a vision and awesome advice for what would look good with my theme. My tables looked amazing and elegant and I couldnt have been happier. I definitely recommend her to everyone in need of a florist.

Jill from Blooming Events was absolutely a delight to work with for our wedding in Gainesville, Florida. She really lived up to our expectations and definitely met our vision. The bouquets came out exactly the way we wanted, too. I wanted peonies and they were absolutely beautiful and exactly as I had envisioned. She worked very hard and it showed. She also made our centerpieces a highlight of the wedding and everyone raved how wonderful they were at our reception. She also gives you a great deal on pricing for flowers. I would highly recommend her!

Blooming Events was absolutely the best choice for me. Jill has had tons of experience with weddings and it showed! I know very little about flowers but she put together truly lovely decorations at my wedding. She's very accommodating with price, too, and can give you a good rough estimate very quickly. I cannot emphasize enough that the bouquets and other flower arrangements were gorgeous and really made the day feel perfect.

Jill was wonderful to work with. At our first meeting she was patient and let me look through her many examples and ask questions. She offered suggestions and insight that were invaluable. The day of she arrived promptly with all of my bouquets which were GORGEOUS. I asked for vases on the tables with flowers in them and she went above by adding small touches to our tables which really brought the whole centerpiece together. I would recommend or hire her again in a heartbeat.

Joe And I have been married for six months and are so happy, but the day of our wedding was most certainly the happiest day of our lives. Our colors were so important, Jill took special notes on preferences for all the details. Then came up with suggestions on how we could participate to make it work. Jill was very nice and GREAT to work with. She is willing to travel and work with you to create exactly what you want. She always responded quickly and will work closely with you if needed. You can tell that she really loves her work and she will give great suggestions if you aren't sure exactly what you want. I was extremely pleased with how everything turned out for my wedding! She was able to create beautiful floral arrangements that went perfectly with my wedding colors and style. Her prices are VERY reasonable. I would highly recommend using Blooming Events for your wedding!

I can't say enough about Jill with Blooming Events!! She took my vision and made it a reality! The beautiful flower arch that she made for the ceremony held at Silver Springs in Ocala was absolutely breathtaking!! She matched the tone of all 5 of the bridesmaids' colors perfectly as well as the boutineers of the groomsmen and corsages for the honored guests. Jill was an absolute pleasure to work with...always returning my calls and having the patience to deal with any last minute changes that I had! Thanks again, Jill!!!

Jill was amazing! She was the second florist I met with and was half the price. She was able to do everything I asked and was incredibly conscious of my budget. The flowers were gorgeous and exactly what I had envisioned. She always got back to me almost immediately. She was a blessing! I could not have asked for more!!

Jill was absolutely amazing at putting together the flowers for my wedding--and I had a very specific vision and high demands for those flowers. She was both enthusiastic and extremely helpful in bringing that vision to life. * Her creativity and sense of color made my flowers look incredible, both in real life and in the photos. * I got so many compliments on my bouquet. It was the best! * Even though I used a lot of hydrangeas, which are notorious for being delicate under the hot Florida sun, she obviously used top quality flowers. They looked great throughout the day even though we had an outdoor wedding. Not only is she a great florist, but she was also a pleasure to work with. She made genuinely helpful suggestions without asking me to compromise what I had imagined. Thanks, Jill. Very high recommendations!
