We ultimately did not pick this venue but Brian was excellent to work with and the facility is gorgeous and disability accessible.

My husband and I had our wedding here in March of 2022 and it was INCREDIBLE. Brian and the staff are amazing to work with and I would highly recommend this venue if you are wanting a beautiful blank slate wedding venue to work with that allows for you to pick and choose your own outside vendors! We used palace events for rentals to completely transform the space. Brian and the staff were extremely helpful with working out the logistics/ ins and outs of set up and take down with all the moving parts. Cannot recommend this venue enough!!!

I photograph weddings throughout Illinois (Ernst Jacobsen Photography) and have photographed weddings at the BCPA Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts on several occasions. It is a beautiful, grand venue that can hold large wedding receptions yet can still be made cozy and intimate by decorating the gorgeous columns with Christmas lights. The BCPA is a lovely option if you're looking for a venue with a bit of history, and that is both grand yet elegant. Highly recommend!

The BCPA was a great spot for our wedding reception! The staff worked well with us to help accommodate any needs and answer any questions. There was plenty of space needed for all things wedding. We were so pleased with the space and our guests enjoyed it too!!

This venue is so unique! The front of the building has wonderful photo opportunities! The lobby was perfect for cocktail hour with access to the upper mezzanine. The ballroom has awesome lighting options along with lighting on the 13 columns. It can accommodate 500 people but we had 250 and had perfect spacing and room for gift table, sweets table, buffets, 2 bars and a photo booth! We had easy communication with Brian, the manager. He went out of his way to accommodate our availability for tours and questions. He also was very good at working with our vendors and their timelines for their set ups!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the BCPA and were very pleased! Affordable and great location. Brian was very easy to work with. He was quick with replies & made sure to answer all my questions. Highly recommend.

We did not book this location do to the absolute lack of communication by their event coordinator. I was not given a name, phone number, or email of the person we were supposed to meet to tour the location. My fiance and I had to take time off work to accommodate said person's schedule. Upon arriving at the set meeting location, we were greeted by rude staff that did not know why we were there. They attempted to call "Brian" who they assumed we were going to meet. After Brian could not answer the phone, another staff member offered to show us around the location. We were given Brian's card, and after several attempted calls he finally answered. No apologies for standing us up. We did not book due to lack of faith in the staff.

This venue is very roomy and can accommodate 300+ wedding guests. The ballroom is beautiful and makes for the perfect reception location! Staff was very helpful and friendly! The dressing rooms were a great place for the girls to get ready due to lots of counter space, outlets, lighting and mirrors for make up and hair! White lights wrapped around the columns transformed the space into something of a fairy tale! I couldn't imagine my reception at any other place!

This place holds up to 900 guests and is just beautiful inside! The staff is very easy to get along with and you have the freedom to pretty much do whatever you want at this venue!
