Where do I begin? This flower shop has a history of bad customer service dating back to 2012 from what I have researched. Our particular experience is as follows: We used this flower shop for our wedding which took place on June 6, 2021. Up until a week prior to the wedding we had no complaints. That is when many of the issues that I have read others experience begun happening to us. We had paid our complete balance prior to the wedding to be clear minded by time the BIG day arrived. A week prior we were charged an ADDITIONAL $700 dollars ($677.43 was the exact charge). We called the shop and spoke with Manny. He informed us that there had been a mix up and that our card was charged by accident. We continued to follow up as the money had not been returned. It is now July 1, 2021 and we still have received no refund for the extra charges. We continue to call and make visits to the shop but nothing has happened yet. Wedding day was another story of its own. On wedding day we arrived to the venue to have our flowers pinned on our lapels. The woman assigned to do the pinning was inexperienced. She expressed this to us during the pinning process. That inexperience reared its ugly head in the form of quality. Many of my groomsmen had lopsided flowers or they were held on by a thread. The Groom had no flower on his tux on wedding day. There is not one photo of me with a flower. The woman pinning the flowers was also accompanied by a man who was rushing her the entire time. The Bride’s bouquet that was discussed and paid for was not what was presented on wedding day. This was one of the biggest disappointments ever. MY WIFE DIDN’T WANT TO TAKE PICTURES WITH HER BOUQUET ON WEDDING DAY!!! How ridiculous does that sound?!?! The flowers were old, beginning to brown and just overall poor quality. From what I have recovered through research is that this business, Bloom’s Flower Shop (3028 Chimney Rock Rd #6201, Houston, TX 77056) has difficulty handling events. They appear to do “ok” with small requests i.e. one flower arrangement delivery. There have been other customers that have had similar complaints to ours as well. We completely understand what they have been through. We share our story so that others can be aware and not use this business due to the shady business practices. Regards Brandon Parham
