We not only create unique one-of-a-kind floral arrangements, we grow flowers for you as well! Did you know that when you order flowers from a florist, that those flowers are several days old, or even a week. Imagine your flowers being picked from a local farm the day before your wedding. Doesn’t get any fresher that that!! We are two female floral artists and flower farmers who provide locally grown bulk flowers as well as floral design. With our seasonal flower design, no two weddings or bouquets are the same. Our flowers are grown with love here on our farm in Alderson WV without the use of toxic chemicals. We also provide ethically harvested wildflowers. Quick list of flowers included: Dahlias, Lisianthus, Ranunculus, Sunflower, Peonies, and several wildflower varieties.

Katie's love for flowers blossomed in Canvas, West Virginia, where she was deeply influenced by her grandmother Marie, a devoted gardener and lover of irises that she still harvests from today. Inspired by her family's heritage of foraging in the rich woodlands of Appalachia for ramps and other treasures, Katie's connection to nature is at the heart of her floral journey. During her college years in Morgantown, Katie discovered her passion while working on a flower farm, selling her blooms at farmers' markets, and honing her craft. . Since 2017, Katie has cultivated her passion into a thriving flower business. Drawing from her grandmother's artistic spirit, Katie infuses her arrangements with colors and varieties not commonly found in traditional florists' offerings. At Blossoms and Buds, each bouquet tells a story of heritage, sustainability, and the beauty of Appalachia. By supporting local businesses and sharing her love for flowers with her community, Katie hopes to pass on something meaningful to future generations. did everything in her power to offer incredibly generous and helpful solutions (though she is a champ and resolved the issue before it even truly became one - her quick action and genuine care about her services for our wedding was apparent). I would recommend blossoms and buds over and over again, and if I ever need a florist again I know who I’ll be contacting.
