Blown Away Blow Dry Bar did an amazing job for my daughter's bridal party and me (mother of the bride) this past Saturday! Amber and Chevy came to the bridal suite at the Ritz and...
did our makeup and hair and it all turned out beautifully!! All my interactions with JJ (owner), Amber (makeup) and Chevy (hair) were first class and professional, not to mention fun! Everyone listened to what we all wanted and we were all just thrilled with our 'looks'! We highly recommend Blown Away Blow Dry Bar and will definitely be using them again for special occasion hair and makeup!! Thanks JJ, Amber and Chevy :)

ed extremely efficiently! Everyone looked stunning! All the girls loved their hair and makeup (which I’ve never been apart of a wedding where they all loved their hair and makeup)! That truly shows you how amazing Ellen and her team was!

er felt more beautiful. And especially for my big day. Booking was easy and they were more than accommodating for any last minute changes. If I could do it again i’d pick blown away every time.
The Blown Away Blow Dry Bar was a fun place for my bridesmaids, mom and me to get ready on the day of. We had 8 people total, and they finished us within two hours on schedule. Th...
e stylists asked each of us after they were done if there was anything they would like to change and they were happy to help and make sure we looked our best on the day of! They did airbrush makeup on everyone which I thought looked fantastic and lasted the whole day! They only have one bathroom, so we did not get dressed there but we could if we would have chosen to do so.
I love all the stylists at blown away! I do not wear heavy makeup normally and my husband is not a fan of that look so I was a little nervous to get the airbrush for my wedding day...
but I LOVED how it turned out. The girls were on time the morning of the wedding with all their supplies which made things so much less stressful on me and the rest of the wedding party. Highly recommend for any special event.
The girl burnt my scalp with the blow dryer. She rushed through the wash, blow out and curl wave. Took her a total of 30 minutes. She pulled my hair when washing and brushing. ...
I have a tender scalp. I also got no scalp massage and my wave fell out about 30 minutes after I left. BTW it was my wedding day too. I told her that as well. I did talk to a manager and got a refund, but I will not be returning to your establishment again after that kind of experience. Seemed like the girl was too much in a hurry to get back to texting.
We did our hair and make up through blown away and Ellen and her crew were amazing!!! They listened to all of my bridesmaids and made everyone look gorgeous!! Love the air brush an...
d false lashes!! Everyone had so many compliments and couldn’t say enough good things about everyone’s hair and make up

tight time frame to be ready for the ceremony. We all felt safe at Blown Away during covid, and they made sure everyone was happy with how they looked. They also did my hair last minute for my rehearsal dinner and were so nice about it. I definitely recommend Blown Away for your day!

The Blown Away team is seriously the best! Ellen did my hair and makeup for engagement photos, and Emily did it for my wedding. My whole wedding party (including MOTB) had hair and...
makeup done, and they looked amazing! The Blown Away team really understood what each woman wanted and was able to give them the perfect look... and no one "didn't look like themselves." I have gone to Blown Away for other events too, and I've always been so happy with the result.
Ellen and the staff at Blown Away Blow Dry Bar were fantastic! We did both our hair and makeup with them for our wedding (bride, moms and bridesmaids) and we all looked stunning!!

At the time of the trial, Ellen really took the time to listen to the styles I was interested in and recommend what would look best based on my hair-type and dress. And knowing that I am not the type of woman that wears a lot of makeup normally, Ellen took a very natural approach that made me look soft and elegant.
The day of, my girls and I had a blast! In total, there were 8 of us and the staff made us feel like we were the only ones there. We enjoyed mimosas and relaxed in the lounge area as each of us was pampered. Loved the experience and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for bridal hair and makeup services.

he best!! I rented the salon out for my wedding day and it couldn't have been a more pleasurable process. They let us bring in our own food/beverages, they were flexible with times and bridesmaid hair/makeup choices. The salon itself is clean and comfortable and a perfect place to spend the afternoon before my wedding ceremony. Great experience all around!! I will be back this Saturday to get hair and makeup done for a friend's wedding :)
Blown Away was one of my absolute favorite vendors! Everyone one of my 9 Bridesmaids, myself, mother, and mother in law looked beautiful! They were so friendly, laughing with us ...

y "Pinterest inspired hair-do" and made it even better! I was a little nervous about the airbrush make-up because I had never used it before, but I'm so glad I did. Not only did it feel very light and natural, it stayed perfectly all day and night! Thank you so much Aubergine!
Aubergine and her girls did a PERFECT job for me and my bridesmaids/moms. My bridal hair and makeup was just what I was dreaming of! My bridesmaids were raving about their hair and...
makeup :) We had 14 people get hair and makeup done and their mobile team got us all done so fast, even early! They were great to work with and I highly recommend them!!!

yle did a trial run with my hair and makeup and also took care of my hair and makeup for my engagement photoshoot, and he was always really nice and easy to talk to. I also absolutely loved the style that they did for me the day of - it was exactly what I was looking for, and it stayed up the entire day and night, EVEN in the 90 degree St. Louis heat during our outdoor ceremony and photos afterward. Blown Away was fantastic!
LOVED THEM! I used Kyle for my hair for my wedding day. He came down to my house the morning of. He's professional, easy to talk to, sweet, in touch with new hair trends and great ...
any what he does. I did a trial with him and loved it right from the start but had one thing to change the day of and on the day of I couldn't have loved my hair more. It was EXACTLY what I wanted and looked beautiful in the pictures. I gave him a celebrity photo to go off of and it looked just like the picture. He was on time and very quick at doing all the girl's styles. We loved hanging out with him all morning. Highly recommend!!
Aubergine was very accommodating and listened to what I was looking for on my wedding day. Her and her team were very flexible and easy going throughout the process, which made it ...

nd make-up trial, Aubergine blew me away and made me feel incredible confident in the skill and talent of her team. And even though my hair and make-up looked great at the trial, she assured me it would look even better the day of -- and boy, did she deliver on that promise!!! My hair and make-up were ABSOLUTELY PERFECT -- and Aubergine made sure the make-up lasted all day and that my hair held all day. Aubergine listened to my vision and delivered it perfectly!! I felt truly beautiful and wouldn't have tweaked a thing! All my bridesmaids were incredibly happy with their hair and make-up as well! I cannot emphasize enough how professional and organized the team from Blown Away was and how special they made me and my bridesmaids feel on my special day!! I highly highly highly recommend Blown Away!!
WOW!!! I have been going to Allison at Blown Away for several years now and I am always so impressed with how she can look at an inspiration photo and recreate it perfectly! I was ...
so excited when the Blown Away team showed up on the morning of my wedding and made every bridesmaid so happy and gorgeous!!! The airbrush makeup is a must for any bride / bridal party and we felt so pampered and glamorous all day and night! We had a combination of updos, braids, and loose curls - each one prettier than the next! I cannot thank them enough for keeping us on schedule, handling everyone easily, and having lots of fun at the same time! Brides — go hire them immediately!!! :)
Aubergine and the wedding staff at Blown Away did an amazing job on my hair and makeup and my bridesmaid's hair and make up for the wedding day. Aubergine was so easy to work with ...
and professional throughout the whole process. She helped do all my trials, rehearsal dinner and day of hair and makeup. My bridesmaids all have different makeup styles so Blown Away was able to do eye only makeup for the girls and let them do their own face makeup which they really liked. This group is wonderful if you are looking for good, professional hair and makeup artists.
Blown Away did an amazing job on our hair and makeup! They did 10 bridesmaid's hair and makeup, as well as mine! My hair and makeup made me feel so beautiful on the biggest day of ...
my life! Aubergine did an up-do with a braid and air brush makeup for me and I loved every part of it. She and her team are truly talented and I am so thankful they were a part of our day!

reaming of. She was attentive to detail and made me feel beautiful.
The two stylists that did my bridesmaids hair and makeup, Ellen and Kayla, were also awesome. They were amazing at listening to exactly what each girl wanted and delivering. My bridesmaids were stunning and happy with all of their looks. The team was organized, prepared, and on time with the schedule. Thanks so much Blown Away for making my day beautiful and stress free!
The name says it all! I was BLOWN AWAY by the work of Ellen and her team for my bridal party hair on my wedding. They came on time and truly delivered!
Ellen has done my hair ...
for many special events and she ALWAYS does an amazing job. I also hired her to do my hair for my rehearsal dinner and she hit the nail on the head with my slightly-messy ponytail with extensions. She's quick but does an exceptional job.
It was a no-brainer who to hire for my wedding-day hair. Ellen and her team made everyone look EXCEPTIONAL!
The only complaint I could make had nothing to do with the hair stylists but rather with their wedding coordinator- Aubergine. She was not very pleasant to work with and lost my contract (she ultimately found it). Despite this, I give Blown Away high remarks and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to get their hair done for a wedding or otherwise.
