Our wedding was in 2008. It took over a year to get anything from Marty and the final product was terrible. Most of the audio was "lost".
Just don't do it. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity - don't give it to this vendor.

ices were reasonable. My husband and I decided to go with them because they seemed to have good reviews (the reviews here are questionable aka FAKE ACCOUNTS, because I’m not sure how they could get anything higher than 3 stars) and the price was right.
The moment we signed our contract, it took 4-5 times to finally get a response. Planning a wedding is stressful enough; it shouldn’t take a bride that many times to confirm that someone from Blu will be showing up to the big day.
The finished product? It took almost 6 months to get a preview, let alone the actual footage. And I’m using “footage” very loosely here because you don’t get any raw footage of the actual ceremony or reception. It’s very unfortunate that we cannot watch our full ceremony, but can watch random clips of guests coming in and chatting, but not the important parts, like VOWS.
In the end, it is worth doing your homework a little more and spending a little more if it means that you don’t hire this company.

Another frustrating aspect is when I received responses in the past they all came from different points of contact, so you never have one person you can count on. Almost feels like your being passed around to be avoided.

ave never hear of, no one I personally know that has used them, or that I haven’t been able to meet in person . My husband and I have paid for our wedding film in total and on time and have yet to receive any film and communication with the company has been slim to none. We wanted to get our film back before my husband deployed for a year, or at least an example or update on how the film was going-- we have not gotten ANYTHING. And continue to get the run around about what is seemingly happening behind scenes. We got the smallest package (which was still costly for what is offered) and it is beyond us why it is taking 5 months to get it finished, to get anything finished. And at the very least offer where the company is at on finishing or even starting our film. Your wedding is one the most special times in your and you spouse life and you should not have to deal with lack of communication and risk wasting money on what appears to be a scam for such a special service, that is having a visual memory for such an important day. My husband and I are extremely frustrated and will be escalating this matter. Please save yourself a headache and the heart ache for potentially missing out on getting video memorabilia for your special day; DON’T use Blu Couture, there are plenty of other companies that will offer better service and I wish I would have went with someone else. DO YOUR research and don’t impulsively jump at the first deal that seems great.

The only reason I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5 because I wanted the raw footage from the day and they wanted to charge us for somthing that I feel we already paid for.
