Tucked away on 54 private acres in the mountains of Francestown, NH, the Blue Bear Inn is a charming, historic wedding venue that blends rustic New England charm with modern hospitality. More than just a place to get married, it’s a place to gather, relax, and truly celebrate—together.
We’re Carrie and Bobby, your on-site innkeepers and the heart behind the Blue Bear. When we got married, we had a wedding weekend where all our favorite people stayed together in one place—it gave everyone a chance to slow down, bond, and soak it all in. It was one of the most special weekends of our lives, and we wanted to create that kind of experience for others too.
So now we live here (with our lovable dog Baloo and our Maine Coon cat Yali), making sure every couple has that same kind of magic: a cozy, joyful space to celebrate love surrounded by the people who matter most.

Hi, I’m Carrie—owner of the Blue Bear Inn in New Hampshire, alongside my husband Bobby. We met over Thanksgiving dinner years ago (his sister is married to my brother—yes, it sounds like a Hallmark movie), and we’ve been dreaming up warm, joyful spaces ever since. With over 20 years in hospitality, I know how meaningful a wedding weekend can be—not just the ceremony, but the slow mornings, the fireside chats, and the joy of being surrounded by your favorite people (including your pup!). Bobby and I run the Inn together with heart, humor, and a deep love for helping people celebrate life’s biggest moments. We host full wedding weekends designed for connection—giving you time and space to truly be with the people you love most, from welcome drinks to the last brunch toast.
