The Blue Bear Inn was the perfect wedding venue for us! We knew we wanted a venue that allowed dogs, was close to an airport (<1 hr) for family traveling, had great food, offered beautiful scenery, could house our out-of-town guests, was mostly a one stop shop (with lodging, wedding venue, ceremony site options, catering, & cake/desserts), and provided historical romance vibes without being a barn — and the Blue Bear checked every box and then some! Carrie, Bob, and the team gave us such a special wedding weekend in May — they didn’t plan the most perfect rainbow, but I know they would’ve if they could!
We rented the inn for the weekend with 25 family members, and had our ceremony at the beautiful Meetinghouse in Francestown, NH. Carrie and Bob are amazing hosts, and the venue was truly exceptional. Carrie took care of all the details and helped us with planning and everything turned out perfectly. All of our guests spontaneously told (and keep telling us) how much they enjoyed the weekend! We loved the fire pit experiences, the cozy rooms, the view, and the food (honestly the best we've had at any event). I can't recommend it enough, thank you!!

Hi, I’m Carrie—owner of the Blue Bear Inn in New Hampshire, alongside my husband Bobby. We met over Thanksgiving dinner years ago (his sister is married to my brother—yes, it sounds like a Hallmark movie), and we’ve been dreaming up warm, joyful spaces ever since. With over 20 years in hospitality, I know how meaningful a wedding weekend can be—not just the ceremony, but the slow mornings, the fireside chats, and the joy of being surrounded by your favorite people (including your pup!). Bobby and I run the Inn together with heart, humor, and a deep love for helping people celebrate life’s biggest moments. We host full wedding weekends designed for connection—giving you time and space to truly be with the people you love most, from welcome drinks to the last brunch toast.
