My group needed a little more direct communication as we sat down, since all the stores are different, instead of waiting for us to settle in. They ask you not to touch the gowns since someone might take it home that day, which we respected, but seemed a little awkward since the stylist had to pull my group back from going to look at the gowns. Not a big deal, just a different studio. While I didn't end up with my dress form here, I am so glad I went! I would recommend Blue Bridal based on the experience, price point, and collections available.

on... Blue was a breath of fresh air! Kim pulled 3 dresses for me to try after describing what I liked thus far and all 3 would've been perfect! The dress I went with was stunning and timeless. At first, I felt it was a little bit plain, but Kim added a small belt and it changed the whole dress. I felt like an absolute princess the day of. Blue is an off-the-rack store, so they only pull dresses around your size to ensure that alternations are easy. They have you wash your hands before touching dresses & an appointment is necessary because every dress in the shop is going to be somebody's dress! I loved the experience because all the dresses are either overstock or ones that didn't make it to production, meaning that some are one-of-a-kind dresses! I'm so happy I went to Blue! Also, there is a new Mother of the Bride shop that Kim opened called Queen's Lace. This store does mother-of-the-bride gowns exclusively and my mom was in and out in 37 minutes with the most beautiful MOB dress! Seriously cannot recommend either of these shops more, and especially Kim for being an absolute rockstar consultant!

She also did a great job of making me feel comfortable trying on some of my family's picks without letting me get overwhelmed, and gently reminded me of my inspiration looks so I didn't get too swept up in what other people wanted. I ended up buying my dress after my first day of trying on, and this was the only place I had to look. It was exactly what I wanted- Clean, no beading or lace, structured, full skirt, and POCKETS. I was thrilled with my dress and the staff here was so easy to work with.

We even showed her pictures of several other gowns I was considering, and she gave thoughtful advice about what styles looked good on me, even for dresses that were from other shops. s for your budget. When I arrived at the store they asked again for my budget, and I told them around $900-1,000. My sales lady immediately grimaced and said she would have to "really look" to find dresses within my price range and said most of their dress were around 1.5k before directing me to a sales rack. I felt like I didn't even belong in the store. I also wasn't allowed to touch the dresses on the rack because "this will be someone's wedding dress some day. " Because of this I felt like I wasn't fully involved in picking dresses I liked, rather I felt like I had to settle for what was available to me. There was also an instance where another associate recommended a dress for me in front of my sales rep, who then asked what size it was. When she said it was a size 6 she quickly told the other associate it wouldn't fit me and that a size 6 was like a size 2 in street clothes. While this may not have intended to be hurtful, it definitely left me feeling awkward about my size. Needless to say I felt very unwelcome and rushed. While I did like one of the dresses I tried on, I already decided I wouldn't be spending my money at this store. I ended up going to another shop down the street and was welcomed with open arms. I found a plethora of beautiful dresses within my budget (which was described as an average bridal budget for the area, and didn't get me any weird looks when I stated it). I was also able to look through the rack myself and pick dresses I liked. I actually was willing to go a little over budget because of how much I loved the employees and how special they made me feel! However, even if I hadn't gone over budget, they still had plenty of beautiful dresses within my original price range (and cheaper). My advice: list a more accurate price range on your website. If I had known 1k would limit me that severely, I wouldn't have even made an appointment and saved both myself and the employee's time. I also filled out the questionnaire with my budget before me appointment and called/texted with an employee regarding my appointment, yet there was never any mention of it being difficult to find dresses within that price range. I think more transparency is needed, especially for brides like me who are just shopping for the first time and aren't sure which stores to start at. There's nothing wrong with only having dresses within a certain price range, just be more upfront about it to save future brides the embarrassment I dealt with.

When I went to SNBB next and explained what range I was ideally looking for, Georgia was extremely accommodating, had already had a couple dresses in mind based on my style preferences and then helped me pick out a couple dresses that weren’t the style I described, but we both thought I should at least try. She did an amazing job in helping me feel comfortable as I was trying on dresses and making sure every detail of the dress was perfect as my friend took pictures of the dresses. Georgia is very knowledgeable about dresses and what looks good on brides and her opinions on how the dresses looked on me seemed very genuine. Same goes for the manager and two other bridal workers there who were also very friendly and helpful. While I had tried on a dress at Wendy’s for $1,200 that I liked, when I left there I really wanted to find a better dress because I didn’t want to give them my business after the consultant’s poor treatment to me. Fortunately I found two dresses I liked much better at SNBB and felt extremely comfortable in the ending buying one a little over my price range at $1,300 and had that dress not been in the shop, I would’ve gladly bought the $1,400 dress that was also stunning. Both of these dresses that I ended up liking the best were not originally one of my style preferences, so I’m so glad Georgia encouraged me to go ahead and try them on after I saw them and thought maybe they could work. SNBB has such a beautiful and unique selection of dresses. After my purchase, the manager Victoria emailed me a few days later personally thanking me for buying a dress at the shop and to ask if I needed anything. I will highly recommend SNBB to everyone I know looking for wedding dresses!

g to sell this gown. I loved it but I didn’t like the aggression or the threatening of not giving me a discount because I wanted to go to one more shop. I also didn’t like the bad mouthing of other stores within the bridal district because it was not necessary. This was my first store of the day and they were determined to ruin my experience by trying to pressure me into a dress. Please try to calm down on the threats and make the bride feel welcomed and not pressured. It’s a big decision and feeling pressured is the last thing any bride needs.

couldn't return my dress, I talked to Amanda and went back in for another appointment just to see if there was anything else. I really appreciate that she didn't try to talk me into another dress (even though I did find another one, I didn't want to pay for two), she helped me come up with a solution for my first, and even checked on my after I left the store that day to see if there was anything else they could do. Her suggestion made me LOVE my dress again, and it turned out to be better than I even expected!! Definitely recommend SNBB to anyone looking for a dress, everyone was so friendly and so helpful, even those not working directly with you!!

I provided them “here’s what I’m thinking...” and the first dress was THE dress! They’re experts at what they do and care deeply for their brides. After years of binging SYTTD, I was able to say yes to my dress at SNBB. My dress was $799 which was a deal for me! I budgeted for much more and it was a relief to not spend nearly as much as I expected.
