At the core of Blue Dot are gifted local musicians in their 20s and 30s, playing the piano, bass, drums, saxophone, trumpet, and vocals, with the occasional special guest on the guitar or trombone. We give popular songs a fresh twist with our distinctive jazzy style. We're proud to be the house band at the Alex Speakeasy in Georgetown, known for being one of the best jazz venues in town. Blue Dot can arrange performances as a duo, trio, quartet, quintet, or sextet, depending on your preference. Additionally, our pianist Andy offers exceptional solo performances, a service he's refined at esteemed locations like the Washington Golf & Country Club and the University Club in D.C, where he is engaged as their “house pianist.” With Blue Dot, you're choosing more than a band.
