I cannot say enough good things about Blue Gardenia Events (BGE). We had SO MANY guests tell us our wedding was one of the most beautiful and well orchestrated events they have att...
ended, and that was all thanks to the BGE team. Seeing the weddings the team had planned in the past, I was worried that they wouldn't be able work within our budget (their fee was also more than other wedding planners we looked at). However, what I learned after we hired them is that Belinda and Stacey really get it. Their fee was priced completely fairly for everything they did for us, and they helped us make decisions on ways to make a big impact stylistically that wouldn't break out budget. They also went above and beyond to add small touches for very low/fee price points (like using Belinda's literal home decorations, or getting super cute fake books on Amazon for bar menus).
I was also so incredibly impressed by the professionalism from the BGE team from the moment we first met with them until even beyond our wedding day. They really made us feel valued and like our wedding was the most important thing, even with everything else they have going on. When we were stressed, they handled it with grace, and they celebrated all the happy moments along the way too. I would recommend the BGE team to absolutely anyone getting married in New Orleans (or beyond!) in a heartbeat.
I saw another review before we hired them that said "I actually miss wedding planning with them!", which I thought was a bit much, but after going through it, I can say I absolutely feel the same way. HIRE THEM!! You will not regret it.
After talking to multiple planners, we chose Blue Gardenia for our destination wedding in New Orleans. It was the best decision we could have made. Belinda and Stacey impressed us,...
advised us, supported us, and made us feel like they had our backs. They were honest in their opinions, and gracious when we disagreed, and successfully managed the different wedding visions my daughter and I had - and I know that wasn't easy. They were great dealing with the various vendors we selected and deftly handled the inevitable bumps in the road. Best of all, they were fun to work with! I cannot express how comforting it was to have them on board, especially during the wedding weekend itself. I felt amazingly calm, knowing that they would take care of whatever last minute issues arose - and they did. An exceptional experience, and I don't say that lightly.
Belinda and the Blue Gardenia Events team were absolutely incredible when coordinating our wedding on December 2, 2023. From my first conversation with Belinda, I knew that she was...
the exact right person to help ensure all of the logistics and our vision came together on our wedding day! She has an incredible wealth of knowledge about vendors and has developed so many strong relationships. Every vendor that we worked with responded with such praise and excitement when they found out they would be working with her. The week of our wedding, the wedding forecast did not look good but we were able to be completely relaxed knowing that Belinda and the team had helped us prepare an incredible rain plan and were ready to make the call the day of as needed. Belinda always timely in her communication responses and answered all of our and our family's questions throughout the process. We would highly recommend Belinda and the Blue Gardenia team- she is an absolutely rockstar and will make your dream wedding a reality!
Belinda is such a fabulous person. She is very professional and knowledgeable. Working with her was easy and joyful from beginning to wedding night. We have so much to be thankful....
I was not a traditional bride and she helped me shape a very peculiar wedding. We went through the pandemic, postponement, nail-biting restrictions, and reschedules. And she was always there for us with grace and a smile. She put the extra push for us, and we are forever grateful that she kept us from stressing about the wedding in very difficult times. Belinda is classy, and current. She has an absolute forward sense of fashion. All our guest only had great compliments about the design, the impeccable timing, and the ease of the whole event. It was all Belinda. We had the best wedding ever.
Belinda (Blue Gardenia Events) was INCREDIBLE! I'm sure every bride says they had the best planner, but our day was absolutely PERFECT and it is 100% due to her! She and her team w...
ere amazing from the very beginning! My husband hired them roughly 11 months prior to our wedding as a surprise to myself due to receiving unfortunate news regarding my health just after our engagement and being in no shape to plan a destination wedding, let alone a wedding in itself.
I had only gone as far as locking down a wedding venue and date, prior to beginning our journey with Blue Gardenia Events — and it was literally THE biggest blessing and most wonderful wedding planning experience that I didn’t even think was in the realm of possibilities - unless you played a character in a movie and Jennifer Lopez was your wedding planner. I may be one of the only brides to say this, but I ACTUALLY MISS WEDDING PLANNING (and if you knew me, I’m not the girl you would expect to ever hire a wedding planner).
From the get, Belinda just got. stuff. done. Not only done, but created a vision that became a reality within just 11 months. My husband and I both gave her a few thoughts to run with and just let her work her magic. Our trust with her and her team’s capabilities never once wavered. We knew she would fight for us when needed, her reputation with vendors held such an immense weight and we had no idea how key that piece of “the wedding planning” puzzle was until going through the process.
Your wedding day is quite literally a production and I say this as someone who used to produce TV commercials as a living. A complete up and down production — that should be fun, that should be stress-free, that should include champagne at all hours, and if your as lucky as we were, establishes a relationship that turns into someone we call a friend and who we look forward to grabbing a drink with (likely champagne) the next time we are in New Orleans.
She isn’t just a wedding planner but a wedding architect — from all design elements to helping pull off a ceremony that has never been done at The Elms — she literally did the impossible. Our wedding guests still talk about our wedding a year later and even made comments on how amazing our planner was. Which i imagine is quite rare!
The pictures and many publications our wedding was featured in, is all accredited to Belinda and the amazing vendors she put together to pull this off.

The first thing I can say about BGE is transparency -- my wife and I were clued in and updated the entire way. By the end, Belinda felt like family evidenced by a moment of tearful happiness on the day of between my wife, Belinda and myself.
Secondly, Belinda leveraged her industry knowledge, connections and experience to ensure that we were taken care of. Whether it was event rentals, lighting, catering, invitations and everything in between, she was upfront with everything while keeping our budget top of mind. We never felt like we were being upsold by anybody and she provided objective feedback while always considering our opinions throughout the planning process.
Lastly, communication! Belinda made herself available via phone, text or email for the million questions that we had throughout the entire process. Additionally, we had weekly/bi-weekly calls to ensure things were going well.
To be honest, at first, we were nervous as our wedding was in California and Belinda is based in New Orleans but we decided to go for it and couldn't be happier. No matter your style, budget or wedding location, we highly recommend Belinda and BGE! Her and her team are more than wedding planners; we consider them friends now and are so grateful that they were part of our big day!
Belinda is truly a pleasure to work with and is one of the best planners in town! We've been able to witness first hand her in action of creating amazing experiences for her brides...
and always going above and beyond. As another vendor in the event industry, it's always so nice working with planners that have such attention to detail and communicate extremely well! Thanks Belinda!

. I so enjoyed working with her. She went above and beyond in the details to make sure everything looked absolutely beautiful. We received many compliments about our wedding afterwards and I just can't say enough about her! If you're looking for a wedding planner, just stop right here because Belinda IS. THE. BEST! Thank you for giving me the wedding of my dreams!!

ed the torrential rainfall and flooding that happened on our wedding day like a champ! Our plan B was executed as if it were plan A to all of the guests. We had the time of our lives and have Belinda to thank! She and Gretchen were amazing and wonderful throughout a very crazy, wet wedding day! I will never be able to thank she and Gretchen enough for all that they did for us. We will never forget it, and I would recommend her to anyone! We are so lucky to have been able to work with her.

ng we will never forget. Everything was taken care of on our day and we never even once had to worry about any issues. This was probably one of the smoothest weddings you could imagine. Belinda really helped take the stress off my wife during planning and used her vast network of New Orleans connections to score amazing deals with vendors that really knew what they were doing. I couldn't be happier with our wedding and I owe it all to Belinda who helped make my wife's vision of the wedding a gorgeous reality.

professional who is organized, detail oriented, and extremely creative. I had a clear vision of what I wanted our wedding to be like and she created a weekend that was BEYOND anything I could imagine! Belinda was extremely responsive over phone and email, and always made time to meet when I was in town. As someone who gets overwhelmed easily, it was a blessing to have her walking me through the planning process while keeping track of the budget and payments. She truly goes above and beyond not only on your wedding day but throughout the whole planning process. It was a huge stress reliever knowing I had her running the show on our wedding day. She handled everything flawlessly from coordinating the vendors and personal details to keeping us to our timeline. I can not thank Belinda and her team enough for creating such a memorable day!!! You will not regret hiring her.
Belinda gave my daughter the wedding of her dreams. Honestly, she and her staff are the best! We could have not been more pleased.

ing one of the best nights of our lives (seriously, friends and family still go out of their way to talk to me about how amazing our wedding was even months later!), she made the whole planning process incredibly fun and magical. Her attention to detail and the level of passion she has for her couples is one in a million.

on for the event so that we were able to trust her expertise and enjoy a relaxed planning process. Belinda is incredibly polite and professional; she leaves a lasting positive impression everywhere she goes. Poor Belinda suffered a broken arm the day before the big event; however, due to her attention to detail throughout the entire process and well trained team the event was still seamless and wonderful. She continued to work hard without a complaint despite being in a sling and in pain (I'm sure). I cannot recommend Blue Gardenia Events highly enough.

nto the most gorgeous reality. Above and beyond our expectations!! Thorough and thoughtful with an incredible attention to detail, Belinda and her team executed the best weekend of our lives. Don't think twice. She is amazing!
Book Belinda now. She and her team are AMAZING. We live in Boston but got married in New Orleans, and being the slight-controlling-type-A person I am, I knew I had to hire someone ...
to help out because there was no way I could do it all - even if I wanted to.
Belinda is your gal. She listened to all of our thoughts and proposed a venue (Maison Montegut) that was EXACTLY what we wanted. She connected us with the right people to do all the things we wanted for our wedding, had an amazing design proposal for us, and listened to any questions or concerns we might have had.
Belinda will truly treat you like you're the only bride you're working with - I would joke with her she was part therapist, part wedding planner (let's be honest - it's emotional and taxing in the best possible way, but still, it's a lot!). We signed up for the package that allowed us to work with her from beginning to end, and I am SO SO glad we did that instead of the final 6 weeks. There is NO way our wedding would have been the amazing night it was without her.
When we saw our venue after the ceremony and after the Second Line (when we could really look around!) it was magical - I have no words to accurately describe how she took what we wanted and turned Maison Montegut into an absolutely stunning courtyard. Not to mention they flipped the whole courtyard in about 30 minutes while we Second Lined! The whole place - courtyard and upstairs - was glowing. Everyone had such a good time, no detail was left unturned, and everything was so well executed. Belinda and her team go above and beyond to ensure your day is exactly what you want it to be.
If you want someone who knows what they're doing, has amazing relationships with people in the wedding biz, and does it all with a gracious smile - hire Belinda. Gretchen, her assistant, is also so sweet and made sure everything in my bridal suite went as it should - I promise you will not be disappointed with Blue Gardenia Events!!

etails leading up to the big day. Belinda jumped right in and made the month of the wedding stress free and even helped provide ideas and assistance to pull the last minute details together.
Our wedding day went absolutely seamlessly. With her guidance and direction we were able to completely enjoy our special day and knew everything was being handled while we danced the night away. Belinda was so sweet and easily accessible any time I had a question. I can't thank her enough for making our day perfect in every way!
I wish I could give Blue Gardenia Events more than 5 stars, because Belinda seriously deserves it. I can't even begin to explain how integral she was in making our wedding so absol...
utely perfect. She went so above and beyond what I ever expected out of a wedding coordinator, especially seeing as we hired her for week-of and design consulting. I loved our meetings, during which we'd pour over inspiration pictures, specialty linens, florals, color palettes, etc. and with a million tiny (but very important!) details, she made our dream wedding a reality. I literally cried when I walked into our venue (the Elms Mansion) and saw how perfect and beautiful everything was - exactly how I had pictured it all in my mind, except better. She made things so much easier on us as the big day came near, and was extremely helpful with tasks and errands that weren't even her responsibility. I think it's really important to note that Belinda is extremely organized, professional, and detail-oriented, but she still felt like a friend as opposed to "just another wedding vendor" - she kept me calm and level-headed whenever I felt overwhelmed, and was always there to crack a joke, give me a hug, and have a cocktail with me! The week leading up to our wedding, and especially the day of our wedding, we were able to completely relax and enjoy ourselves because we were 100% confident that BGE had everything under control - this is especially important, as you don't want to run around on your wedding day worrying about vendor payments, timelines, setup/breakdown, etc. Our wedding experience would not have been the same without BGE, and I already miss working with Belinda!

ment to personalizing and customizing the wedding to the couple she is working with, and her meticulous attention to detail... it also doesn't hurt that she has a great sense of style and natural creativity. She is incredibly accessible and available during the planning phase, and goes the extra mile to help couples enjoy what can sometimes feel like a grueling process. For example, she brought macaroons to the decor meeting, and attended dress fittings and practice make-up runs with my fiance, bubbles in hand. Belinda and her team handled all our vendor interactions and payments, and she even took the time to home-make some items to save us a few bucks. On the day of our wedding, her team's execution was outstanding. If anything went wrong that day, I have no idea what it was, which tells me Blue Gardenia did an outstanding job. From where I was standing, everything was picture perfect. And after the event, Belinda and her team took complete care of the less glamorous side of things, breaking down the venues and returning rented equipment the following day.
What can I say? Blue Gardenia is great. Belinda is great. If you are lucky enough to have found her, I can not recommend highly enough that you work with her on your event.

cess including reviewing their resumes and websites, phone screenings, in-person interviews and reference checks in order to select my wedding planner; and I am so thrilled I chose Belinda. She is an extremely talented designer with an extreme attention to detail, and was able to turn my wedding vision into an unforgettable reality. I believe there are many talented wedding planners in New Orleans who are capable of doing that. What differentiates Belinda; however, is her undeniable passion for what she does and her unwavering commitment to you and your wedding. I honestly do not know how she is able to provide such a personal and attentive service to each of her wedding couples, because she truly makes you feel like your wedding is the only wedding she is currently planning (which I know is absolutely not the case).
Countless times Belinda went over and above my (very high) expectations in order to not only make my wedding day beautiful and seamless, but also to make the entire wedding planning process a fun, enjoyable, and exciting experience. I could go on-and-on about her exceptional skills and capabilities to plan, design, and execute, but what really stuck with me is how she makes you feel and the overall experience she gives to you. So many brides complain about how stressful and overwhelming the planning process is – yet I loved every part of it because of Belinda’s guidance, support, and honestly, friendship.
Belinda is a real gem. I am honored and feel so lucky that she was a part of one of the most important days of my life (and the 9 months leading up to it)! If you have the opportunity to partner with her, do it. You won’t regret it.
Belinda is amazing. Do yourself a favor and book her as soon as you possibly can.

y we could have planned a wedding in New Orleans (we live in San Francisco) without her expertise and stellar organization. Belinda is a true professional. We visited NO a few times to plan and she went the extra mile to make the whole process really enjoyable and relaxing. She worked directly with my in laws to plan our Friday night 2nd line festivities (it was so amazing our guests were in tears) and nailed it on every little detail form the hankies, to the welcome bags to the beauty of every table and scene at our venue. We loved every vendor she recommended and it's clear she's got great partnerships in the industry. Last but certainly not least, Belinda is a fun person you'll want to spend time with. We can't wait to go back to NO and formally thank her over daiquiris.

hone call all the way to the night of the wedding Belinda made sure that our vision came to life. Belinda was able to really listen to what we wanted, made suggestions when it was needed, got excited along with us as we threw out-of-the-box ideas and made dreams a possibility. Having a creative background, I was pleasantly surprised at how talented Belinda was visually and artistically. She really takes each wedding with great pride and enthusiasm and without asking made details that added just that extra touch. Thank you so much for those handmade dessert signs that mimicked mine!! It was a fun experience to brainstorm ideas about the look and feel of the venue and I completely trusted her judgment calls. Her vendor suggestions were on point as she rocked out a great team for us!
What is special about Belinda is that she is so personable and sweet! But at the same time, she is so well organized and on top of everything, which made planning for us back in Canada easy-peasy. Belinda even took me to all my makeup and hair trials and acted as a friend. Giving me suggestions and having a critical eye when it was called for. Myself and my now husband both felt Blue Gardenia Events went above and beyond. From the bottom of our hearts thank you! Consider yourself lucky if you book this company.

She knows what she is doing and managed myself and my now husband... which I know can be hard. She was always exceeding our expectations. Thank you, Belinda. You were without a doubt the best decision we could have made. You made our NOLA wedding the best celebration we could have asked for. THANK YOU!

ator who is creative, resourceful, timely, organized and a joy to work with made me confident that it would be a wonderful event. Belinda was able to take our desires and dreams and turn them into reality. Every last detail was not only provided but many exceeded our expectations. If there were any "snags" they were invisible to us and our guests. The majority of our guests were from out of town and they are still raving about the fabulous New Orleans wedding! So, if you are a parent who does or doesn't live in New Orleans, I would highly recommend Blue Gardenia for your son or daughters wedding planning and coordination of the event; you will not be disappointed!

detail and the extra touches she added to enhance the wedding decor took our wedding from great to awesome. The biggest perk of working with Blue Gardenia was a drastic reduction in stress for me, my groom, and my family - knowing that everything was well organized and managed. Not only that, but the entire event was even more amazing than we imagined. I highly, highly recommend Blue Gardenia Events! Belinda is very friendly, professional, organized, and creative. She has the perfect demeanor for a wedding planner. Her staff were also great.
Belinda was amazing! She was extremely hands on and helped me with everything. She made sure my wedding was picture perfect. I would highly recommend her to any bride.
As a groom, I could not have imagined going through the final week before our wedding without Belinda's help. There are so many details that go into a wedding (more so than I ever ...
thought) and I completely understand the stress it put on my now wife. Belinda was able to take much of that stress out of the equation for her and was there for almost every little detail that just wasn't possible for us to do. Moreover, even some of the things we had planned to do ourselves, Belinda was able to do better, more efficiently, and in a way that made the event (and the rehearsal dinner) much more enjoyable. I cannot thank her enough for the ways she helped us and would recommend her to anyone looking for a top-tier wedding planner and coordinator.

nough for helping to make our day such a memorable one. The morning started with special treats for all members of the bridal party followed by an amazing horse and carriage ride though the French Quarter. Every detail was planned, down to the last minute and she helped ALL of us feel at ease with our roles in the wedding. She does not forget ANY detail and works to make sure everyone is happy throughout the entire event. The wedding ceremony went off without a hitch and the reception was gorgeous in every way....the cake, the tables, the decorations. She made sure that all of the guests were having a great time and attended to the bride and groom's needs. There is not a better, more creative, and harder working wedding planner out there. Thank you for such an amazing day and for creating such wonderful memories for everyone involved.

Belinda did such a great job on our wedding timeline, setting up the wedding suites for the photographer, recommending vendors, suggesting flower arrangements, putting together inspiration boards for my vendors, designing and printing beautiful table numbers, and much more. The night of my rehearsal dinner and the day of my wedding I was totally relaxed knowing Belinda had everything under control!!!
I already have 2 friends who chose to use Blue Gardenia Events for their weddings after listening to me rave about Belinda!

all. It would be an understatement to say that Belinda exceeded my expectations. She also offers customizable packages to fit just about any budget. Belinda helped with nearly aspect of organizing décor, creating a production schedule, confirming with vendors all while absorbing much of my stress the week of the wedding. Who knew there were so many details that went into wedding planning??! I certainly didn't anticipate much of the planning process when I said yes to my husband's proposal, but Blue Gardenia Events was one of the best choices I could have made in the initial stages of preparing for a wedding. I'd also venture to say that I'm a pretty low-key person that didn't have many expectations for my own wedding... Blue Gardenia Events made my modestly-budgeted wedding seem like a grand event! Even though my initial idea was to have a simple wedding, I quickly learned there was no such thing as "simply planning" a wedding no matter how small or big!
Belinda is also a joy to work with and has an easy-going yet assertive personality. She is incredibly professional and is also sensitive to each individual's needs. I did not even hesitate about hiring Blue Gardenia Events once I met Belinda!
I felt that Belinda really took the time to get to know me which allowed her to assist me in creating the most perfect wedding day (and week!) for me and my husband. Furthermore, in addition to being talented at what she does, it is also apparent how much Belinda loves wedding planning (another key factor in selecting a planner!). All of my family, friends, and hire vendors also gave me feedback of how impressed they were with Belinda's organizational and communication skills.
I'd highly recommend Blue Gardenia Events for any bride looking for assistance (big or small) for their wedding. The quality of services (and the folks) can't be beat for the price... seriously.

er made with my wedding. From the moment I met Belinda I knew I was in good hands and never once worried about the wedding planning process. She helped me create and unify my wedding vision. (Pinterest boards can only get you so far) She was there for me every step of the way and never made me feel like an imposition or problem. I had to keep reminding myself the week of the wedding that I was getting married because I didn't have to verify with or call one vendor. I didn't have to worry about how something would look or come together, I knew it would be beautiful. Everything far exceeded my expectations and was perfect. There's not a thing I would change and I can thank Blue Gardenia Events for that!
Belinda is professional, dedicated and detail-oriented, but most importantly enthusiastic, kind-hearted and fun! People say to not sweat the small stuff on your wedding day... Well, I never had to with Belinda, but I'm sure glad she did because those were the unique touches that I noticed most that night and will remember for a lifetime.

o. I work 80+ hours, per week and needed a planner I could trust. All I had to do was tell her my concepts and goals, and she brought them to life with such elegance and grace that it blew me away. Many guests said that it was the most beautifully planned weddings they've ever attended.

porating the Garden District Pub, a special location to my husband and I, proved to be a lot of extra work and coordination. Belinda was more than up for the challenge from the start. She organized all of the details and moving parts to make sure nothing was missing, which included figuring out the avenues to take to receive a permit for the day to use the park. Along with my vision, she enhanced the décor elements with her original ideas and props she had on hand that made the charming pub into a romantic setting for guest to enjoy. In the weeks leading up to the wedding day, Belinda was available to meet, answered any questions, and provided me with extra support, with anything to help relieve stress. She did all the things that a bride doesn’t realize will lead to major stress, so we can do what were are supposed to be doing, which is enjoying the moment with our friends and family. It was so nice to have someone to make the final check in with all of the vendors before the big day! Blue Gardenia Events is the best for any couple who needs someone that will understand their vision and work tirelessly to make that vision a reality. Many people have told us how unique, special, and FUN our wedding was! A lot of this is thanks to Blue Gardenia Events!
I would recommend Blue Gardenia Events to every couple getting married. She did a great job with everything and allowed us to be able to enjoy our wedding day.
