Blue House Bakeshop

issues and we got great feedback about the desserts from guests. She did a single tier cake and assortment of cupcakes for us, including customized buttercream flavor (maple) at our request. She was super helpful with figuring out how many cupcakes we should have, and I think we ended up with the perfect amount. There were plenty for guests and we had leftovers afterwards to enjoy. The maple carrot cake is EVERYTHING. We loved it so much that it was both our main cake and one of our cupcake flavors. The decorations on it were beautiful, which was also feedback we got from guests. Beatrix provided great customer service and organization from beginning to end, starting with the adorable little tasting cakes she made when we were first trying her out. Highly recommend all around!

portantly, it was delicious. In addition, Beatrix made 150 mini cupcakes that were gone instantly at the reception because they tasted so good. Most impressively, every dessert she made was gluten-free. We would highly recommend Beatrix to anyone who has a food sensitivity, as she was so easy to navigate allergies and intolerances with, while also delivering a product that is amazing. Beatrix was so easy to communicate with throughout the planning process, and made planning for the dessert at our wedding so stress-free.

as were the cupcakes she made to round out our dessert offerings. We got many compliments about how good the desserts were. We would highly recommend getting wedding desserts at Blue House Bakeshop!

. Our cake turned out beautiful. We absolutely recommend Blue House Bakeshop.

heduling and, of course, her baking. Our guests couldn't stay away from the dessert table

bly delicious 10/10!!

o finish, she worked closely with us to create the perfect maple-inspired treats for our guests. We truly appreciated her quick communication and patience as we navigated our indecisiveness. She even accommodated a special frosting recipe and provided some gluten-free options, all of which were a hit. Everything tasted incredible and so fresh. One of the best parts about working with Beatrix is that as a local baker, we can continue to enjoy her amazing desserts year-round! We’re grateful for her dedication to making our day extra sweet, and we can’t recommend her enough.

m into the most beautiful wedding cake design for our big day. Thank you so much Beatrix, couldn't recommend her more!

nd ate lots of cake. We went with two different cake flavors (two tiers each), and it was perfect. We loved our tasting as well. Beatrix was a dream to work with. We even bought apple cider donuts to give out as a surprise late-night snack, and everyone loved them.

ng about how good they were (the maple carrot cake got especially rave reviews!) Throughout the process of reaching out to vendors, scheduling a tasting, selecting flavors/desserts, and deciding on numbers, Beatrix was efficient, flexible, responsive, and knowledgeable. She did 2 different custom desserts for us which both turned out so well AND she was able to make the majority of our selections vegan which was also impressive (and no one could tell the difference)! If you’re looking for a wedding dessert vendor, look no further, you won’t regret it.

and affordable.

ng was a hit—nothing was left by the end of the night! Beatrix worked with us to design a gorgeous cake, and her artistic touch made it even more special. Our dessert bar featured brownie bites, cider donuts, fruit tarts, vanilla cream puffs, and vanilla cake truffles. The double chocolate cake with raspberry filling was simply amazing!

sy.

looking forward to ordering from her again. I highly recommend Blue House Bakeshop if you are getting married in the area.

ting box was the best part of the wedding planning process. The day of the wedding went seamlessly with Blue House. Our coordinator had only great things to say about Beatrix. I was blown away when I saw the final spread of desserts. We decided on a small cake to cut, cupcakes, fruit tarts, cream puffs and whoopie pies. The quality and quantity of desserts was over and above our expectations. Our friends and family loved the desserts so much that they plan to order through Blue House for future celebrations.

to life and set up the dessert table beautifully.

ore our event. She was extremely professional and prompt with communications. She delivered our desserts to our venue and created the most beautiful display for our reception. Our wedding cake was absolutely gorgeous and our guests were raving about how delicious all of the desserts were. We would definitely recommend Blue House Bakeshop for your wedding or special event!

rts we were thinking of adding to our wedding. We did the lemon cake with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream - to die for! My husband's favorite cake is lemon, and I love it too, but not usually my go-to. Beatrix's lemon cake honestly was my favorite and I am not just saying that because it was our wedding cake. Our wedding day was also a monsoon, I kid you not. Despite this, everything was perfect (and she must have had more than an hour drive due to the storm!). Thank you so much Beatrix - everyone raved about ALL the desserts, including us :) We are wanting to make another trip to Vermont before we move within the next two years and I will have to put in an order prior!!

our wedding guests. We had no leftovers.... and we ordered A LOT of dessert. She is also incredibly talented at wedding cake design as well.... so her cake + desserts were just as pretty to look at as they were fun to eat. Do not hesitate to hire Beatrix for your wedding ASAP! She is so fun to work with.

al, flexible, talented baker for your next special event -- look no further. Beatrix not only made our wedding-cake dreams come true, but she also baked a variety of treats (cookies, cupcakes, brownies, fruit-tarts, etc.), in a variety of flavors (everything was so good we had a hard time deciding what to pick). She even provided gluten-free options for each! Everything was so delicious that even the gluten-snobs were eating the gluten-free treats to get a taste. By the end of our wedding the dessert table was picked dry, and (to our dismay) there were no leftovers to take home! Hire Blue House Bakeshop immediately. (Photos by Julia Luckett Photography).

s a work of art! The lemon poppyseed flavor was a hit and perfect for a summer wedding.

ake was so beautiful. I sent a few inspiration photos, but basically left the decorations in her expert hands, and the cake was stunning. I am so glad that we booked Blue House Bakeshop a year in advance because she fills up so quickly!

GOOD), homemade Oreos and brownie bites. Our guests devoured them SO fast and only had good things to say even days later. She also made a delicious cake that not only tasted good but was so delicately made with pressed flowers. We are so thankful to have found Blue House Bakeshop for the dessert table at our wedding and will definitely be going back for any cake in the future!!

ke. Beatrix is truly talented; she was kind, organized, and easy to communicate with from start to finish, and the bakes were incredible and looked stunning. Our guests were going back for second and third cupcakes, and multiple guests said they were the best wedding dessert they've ever had. Our wedding cake was so good that we decided to eat the whole thing and forgo saving any for our anniversary! Overall, seamless, delicious, and beautiful- I would absolutely recommend Blue House Bakeshop.

in helping us solidify our options for a dessert bar. Our guests were raving about each of the desserts (mini fruit tarts, chocolate truffles, lemon vanilla cupcakes, strawberry cupcakes, chocolate cupcakes, and brown butter cookies) and not a single item was left by the end of the night - we had guests finding ways to take the desserts home with them to keep any from going to waste. The next time we are in need of a celebratory dessert, we will be sure to work with Beatrix!

g cake but that ours was EXCEPTIONAL! Two weeks later (it has taken all of our self control for it to last in our fridge this long) and it is still one of the best cakes we have ever had. Everything we sampled from Blue House Bake Shop was fantastic, but the maple butter cream frosting is out of this world and will have you and your guests taking seconds, thirds and to-go containers. Bea was responsive, offered insight when we were indecisive on flavor/sizing and provided delivery for increased ease! We have no doubt that Bea was the best choice for our wedding cake!

with us to use local ingredients in a wide array of desserts and even partnered with us to style them beautifully. From cake pops, to cheesecake tarts, carrot cake, biscotti and two different types of donuts, every single item she made for us was delicious! If you're getting married in Vermont, we can't recommend her enough!

ad to have them all at our wedding. We also wanted a small personal cake and cake for my 30th birthday the next day. We were having a slightly harry potter themed celebration and let Beatrix know. She knocked it out of the park, not only were the cakes beautiful but everyone kept coming up to us to say how delicious everything was! My husband and a lot of his family are gluten free so she was able to make everything gluten free for us and it was incredible. We also ended up moving our wedding date up a few months and she was so easy to work with and flexible with the changes. Highly highly recommend booking Blue House for any of your dessert needs!! We will be back for our next event.

ice, we highly recommend Blue House Bakeshop for your event!

ble, and easy to work with. Everyone asked where our cake was from! :) Highly recommend.

ke (CHOCOLATE HEAVEN), mini strawberry cheesecakes, the. Eat chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever had, cider donuts, mini cupcakes (lemon, peanut butter and chocolate) and we even had ten set aside for our gluten free guest!! Beatrix was amazing to work with and we are so fortunate to have found her. We highly recommend her, your taste buds will not be disappointed!!!
