Can’t say enough good things about Beatrix’s baking! Our wedding dessert assortment was so delicious and beautiful. It was a hit amongst the guests and everyone could not stop raving about how good they were (the maple carrot cake got especially rave reviews!) Throughout the process of reaching out to vendors, scheduling a tasting, selecting flavors/desserts, and deciding on numbers, Beatrix was efficient, flexible, responsive, and knowledgeable. She did 2 different custom desserts for us which both turned out so well AND she was able to make the majority of our selections vegan which was also impressive (and no one could tell the difference)! If you’re looking for a wedding dessert vendor, look no further, you won’t regret it.

I loved Beatrix and her cupcakes! They were well decorated, and we were able to adapt the flavoring of our cupcakes to our wedding theme. I'm so impressed. Incredibly professional and affordable.

Beatrix made our wedding extra sweet with some of the best desserts and cake we've ever had! We asked for a custom 4-inch cake for us and a dessert bar for our guests, and everything was a hit—nothing was left by the end of the night! Beatrix worked with us to design a gorgeous cake, and her artistic touch made it even more special. Our dessert bar featured brownie bites, cider donuts, fruit tarts, vanilla cream puffs, and vanilla cake truffles. The double chocolate cake with raspberry filling was simply amazing!

Beatrix is wonderful to work with. Great communication and amazingly delicious desserts! Our wedding dessert bar was just what we envisioned and the process of booking was super easy.

The maple carrot cake from Blue House Bakeshop was a highlight of our wedding. It looked perfect and tasted twice as good. It was such a pleasure working with Beatrix. Amazing and extremely tasty!! I had 150 guests and they all raved about the desserts. The chocolate cupcakes with raspberry filling were a crowd favorite. Highly recommend!!

I worked with Beatrix from Blue House Bakeshop for my wedding dessert table. Beatrix was very responsive and helpful while my husband and I decided on our order. Trying out the tasting box was the best part of the wedding planning process. The day of the wedding went seamlessly with Blue House. Our coordinator had only great things to say about Beatrix. I was blown away when I saw the final spread of desserts. We decided on a small cake to cut, cupcakes, fruit tarts, cream puffs and whoopie pies. The quality and quantity of desserts was over and above our expectations. Our friends and family loved the desserts so much that they plan to order through Blue House for future celebrations.

Beatrix at Blue House Bakeshop was absolutely incredible to work with for our wedding! She worked with us to come up with custom flavors and options and hosted a tasting for us before our event. She was extremely professional and prompt with communications. She delivered our desserts to our venue and created the most beautiful display for our reception. Beatrix was the BEST to work with! She is an amazing individual to work with and her work is as equally amazing. The cake tasting samples were delicious, as well as the other desserts we were thinking of adding to our wedding. We did the lemon cake with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream - to die for! My husband's favorite cake is lemon, and I love it too, but not usually my go-to. Beatrix's lemon cake honestly was my favorite and I am not just saying that because it was our wedding cake. Our wedding day was also a monsoon, I kid you not. Despite this, everything was perfect (and she must have had more than an hour drive due to the storm!). Thank you so much Beatrix - everyone raved about ALL the desserts, including us :) We are wanting to make another trip to Vermont before we move within the next two years and I will have to put in an order prior!!

Beatrix is an absolute MASTER baker. Holy cow. We hired Beatrix to make both our wedding cake and dessert table, and we were BLOWN away. Everything was such a hit with both us and our wedding guests. We had no leftovers.... and we ordered A LOT of dessert. She is also incredibly talented at wedding cake design as well.... so her cake + desserts were just as pretty to look at as they were fun to eat. Do not hesitate to hire Beatrix for your wedding ASAP! She is so fun to work with.

Delicious, Gorgeous, No Leftovers! We hired Beatrix & Blue House Bakeshop for our wedding in June of 2023 and had the absolute BEST experience. If you're looking for a professional, flexible, talented baker for your next special event -- look no further. Beatrix not only made our wedding-cake dreams come true, but she also baked a variety of treats (cookies, cupcakes, brownies, fruit-tarts, etc.), in a variety of flavors (everything was so good we had a hard time deciding what to pick). She even provided gluten-free options for each! Everything was so delicious that even the gluten-snobs were eating the gluten-free treats to get a taste. Beatrix was wonderful to work with! The cake tasted amazing and looked unbelievable. Our guests couldn't believe how detailed the cake was (a view from the top of Mt Philo) - it was a work of art! The lemon poppyseed flavor was a hit and perfect for a summer wedding.

Blue House Bakeshop was absolutely amazing! The cakes she made were do delicious. All of my guests were raving about the coconut almond cake that she made us especially. Also, my cake was so beautiful. I sent a few inspiration photos, but basically left the decorations in her expert hands, and the cake was stunning. I am so glad that we booked Blue House Bakeshop a year in advance because she fills up so quickly!

We can’t say enough good things about the desserts Beatrix made for our wedding this past June! There were multiple kinds of cookies, berry crumble bars specifically requested (SO GOOD), homemade Oreos and brownie bites. Our guests devoured them SO fast and only had good things to say even days later. She also made a delicious cake that not only tasted good but was so delicately made with pressed flowers. We are so thankful to have found Blue House Bakeshop for the dessert table at our wedding and will definitely be going back for any cake in the future!!

I am so thrilled that we decided to work with Blue House Bakeshop for our wedding desserts, which included three flavors of cupcakes, plus one vegan version, and a small wedding cake. Beatrix is truly talented; she was kind, organized, and easy to communicate with from start to finish, and the bakes were incredible and looked stunning. Our guests were going back for second and third cupcakes, and multiple guests said they were the best wedding dessert they've ever had. Our wedding cake was so good that we decided to eat the whole thing and forgo saving any for our anniversary! Overall, seamless, delicious, and beautiful- I would absolutely recommend Blue House Bakeshop.

We are so glad that we were able to have Bluehouse Bakeshop contribute to both our rehearsal dinner and our wedding reception! We loved everything we sampled and Beatrix was great in helping us solidify our options for a dessert bar. Our guests were raving about each of the desserts (mini fruit tarts, chocolate truffles, lemon vanilla cupcakes, strawberry cupcakes, chocolate cupcakes, and brown butter cookies) and not a single item was left by the end of the night - we had guests finding ways to take the desserts home with them to keep any from going to waste. The next time we are in need of a celebratory dessert, we will be sure to work with Beatrix!

While we might have been the stars of the show at our wedding, our cake was a close second. Multiple guests went out of their way to let us know that they don’t usually like wedding cake but that ours was EXCEPTIONAL! Two weeks later (it has taken all of our self control for it to last in our fridge this long) and it is still one of the best cakes we have ever had. Everything we sampled from Blue House Bake Shop was fantastic, but the maple butter cream frosting is out of this world and will have you and your guests taking seconds, thirds and to-go containers. Bea was responsive, offered insight when we were indecisive on flavor/sizing and provided delivery for increased ease! We have no doubt that Bea was the best choice for our wedding cake!

Beatrix was incredible to work with! One of our favorite parts of the whole wedding planning process was partnering with her to create the most delicious dessert table. She worked with us to use local ingredients in a wide array of desserts and even partnered with us to style them beautifully. From cake pops, to cheesecake tarts, carrot cake, biscotti and two different types of donuts, every single item she made for us was delicious! If you're getting married in Vermont, we can't recommend her enough!

Beatrix made our desserts for our wedding a few weekends ago and we were blown away! From our first tasting in the fall we fell in love with so many different desserts so knew we had to have them all at our wedding. We also wanted a small personal cake and cake for my 30th birthday the next day. We were having a slightly harry potter themed celebration and let Beatrix know. She knocked it out of the park, not only were the cakes beautiful but everyone kept coming up to us to say how delicious everything was! My husband and a lot of his family are gluten free so she was able to make everything gluten free for us and it was incredible. We also ended up moving our wedding date up a few months and she was so easy to work with and flexible with the changes. Highly highly recommend booking Blue House for any of your dessert needs!! We will be back for our next event.

Beatrix was amazing to work with! We ordered several different flavors of cupcakes for our wedding in October 2022, and every flavor blew our guests away. A great value for the price, we highly recommend Blue House Bakeshop for your event!

Beatrix is great!! She made cupcakes for my bridal shower and the cake for my wedding! Both were not only insanely delicious, but also beautiful to look at! Beatrix was kind, flexible, and easy to work with. Everyone asked where our cake was from! :) Highly recommend.

Oh my delicious!!! All of our guests cannot stop talking about how delicious out dessert spread was, and we can tell, because none of it was left!! We had our beautiful cutting cake (CHOCOLATE HEAVEN), mini strawberry cheesecakes, the. Eat chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever had, cider donuts, mini cupcakes (lemon, peanut butter and chocolate) and we even had ten set aside for our gluten free guest!! Beatrix was amazing to work with and we are so fortunate to have found her. We highly recommend her, your taste buds will not be disappointed!!!
