She had so many smart ideas and insights throughout the process, kept us on track, and even drove an hour plus away to do a site tour with us. I am a little socially anxious and could imagine feeling awkward day-of around a coordinator I had only talked to a couple times. Instead, Ashley felt like a good friend who we knew we could trust completely. If you are a couple on a budget like we were, know that Ashley’s services are an incredible value for your money (raise your prices girl). After working with her for a few months, we decided to also hire her to do our florals. Having one fewer vendor to wrangle and having our florist present for the whole event was amazing. I initially worried that because she does both coordination and florals that she might not have the expertise of someone who is solely a florist. Not the case at all! Ashley is wildly talented with flowers. I had a very specific vision, and she blew me away. I made her a vision board and she executed it flawlessly. Ashley went above and beyond in all areas and was really there for us throughout an emotional and stressful process. On our wedding day my husband and I must have said some variation of “We love Ashley” or “Thank God for Ashley” a dozen times. If you are looking for a sign, let this be it. HIRE ASHLEY! And Ashley, if you’re reading this please know how special you are to us. We will truly never forget you.

By hiring Ashley, not only did the wedding end up being exactly what we hoped it would be, but my number one wish was granted - the ability to actually relax, enjoy, and be present on the day of the event. We hired Ashley for planning, day of coordination, and also for floral. We got married on 6/29/24 - which means that Ashley saw us through the planning process for 20 MONTHS! Her communication and organization never let us down in all of that time. She listened to our needs, offered tidy spreadsheets that helped us stay in budget, and asked the questions we wouldn't have known to ask ourselves. Every vendor we hired (photographer, DJ, officiant, etc...) ended up being a great match because we described what kind of energy we were looking for in each person, and Ashley lined us up with easy interviews from people in her network. She was hands-on, doing venue tours and an on-site rehearsal. On the day of, she did all of the job delegation, timeline oversight, and vendor management, so I got to just hang out with my friends before the ceremony and enjoy the experience of getting married. The floral package she offered was perfect and definitely tied together the whole aesthetic of the event in a wonderful way. We highly recommend Blue Lark Events for any wedding or other big gathering that you want to be headache-free.

She was very thoughtfully planful, provided all of the needed information to feel confident in preparation and paid attention to every fine detail the day of. She was also present for the rehearsal, which she ran so smoothly (I had a big wedding party of 18+). She thought of everything, and she also anticipated my husband and my needs before we even realized we needed something – like more comfortable shoes to dance in, snacks, or taking a second to breathe on a busy day. I truly cannot say enough amazing things about Blue Lark Events!

We made the decision to bring in a seasoned professional. We were SO ecstatic to have Ashley from Blue Lark Events as our coordinator. She assisted us in setting priorities for each month, ensuring we remained motivated and enthusiastic about our ultimate goal. Her recommendations and resources proved invaluable. After every monthly meeting with her, there was a sense of relief as we realized we were right on track, steadily checking off significant tasks. In the lead-up to the weeks preceding the wedding, Ashley took charge. She liaised with the venue, caterers, rental companies, and more, shouldering the responsibilities and ensuring everything was taken care of, effectively lightening our load. On the day of the wedding, she went above and beyond, placing appetizers in my hands to ensure I had something to eat and a drink to savor. Her seamless orchestration made our special day all the more extraordinary. I can't speak highly enough of Ashley and her remarkable skills. She made the best day of our lives possible, and for that, we will be eternally grateful.

She exceeded at problem solving and was able to do everything we needed without being bothered. She also was great at checking in with us to make sure that we had everything we needed as a bride and groom. Only thing I regret, is that I only booked her for day of wedding stuff. She was more than willing to help me at the monthly check ins, but if I could do it over again, I would pay her to plan more than just day of. She is amazing, affordable and has the best interest of your special day in mind.

I was actually able to enjoy myself and be with my loved ones, which I had not really expected on my wedding day. I had three other friends that had just recently gotten married in, and each one of them made a comment about how Ashley was awesome. Even when I was in a panic because it was supposed to be 97° on the day of the wedding, I had mentioned that I had already looked for air-conditioning units and couldn’t find anything. I asked her if she could look into it and she had found something within an hour, and secured them for the event. She communicated with all of my other vendors and by being so involved throughout the planning process, She knew what needed to happen that day and all the different moving parts which made a big difference. I would use Ashley again in a heartbeat.

We toured the venue together and Ashley gave input on where things could be put. When it became time for the wedding rehearsal, it felt like everything would go smoothly, and that was because Ashley had charts of who needed to be in what spot and how to make sure the ceremony went along in specific orders. Through our monthly interactions, we realized just how organized Ashley is, as she created charts, shared folders, and had lists of people she recommended for other vendors. However, that organization really shined during the day of our wedding. Ashley had everything we could think to need - we needed safety pins to hang stuff or pin items, she had them; we needed a pen for creating a lunch list or signing the wedding certificate, she had them; and when we had questions on where things needed to go, she had the answers. She assisted our florist in organizing the flowers, and made sure all of the other vendors were where they needed to be and when (meaning she went out of her way to connect with each of the other vendors to make sure they hit their marks). Ashley was kind and respectful but a true force of nature in her field. I would highly recommend her services to anyone, and my mother agrees!

nce we didn't want to put any family or friends in charge of setting up and taking down decorations. We had planned to have a few small decorations along with programs and we had our own music set up for the ceremony. Not only did Ashley respond right away when we reached out but she was also punctual, helpful, and catered to our needs! She helped our wedding party feel prepared but attending and guiding our rehearsal dinner and she also took care of decorations, managed our music, and created both a floral arrangement at the ceremony site and put together my bridal bouquet. Our day was hectic, as all weddings are, but Ashley kept everything on track, helped us stay on time, and took care of so many little details that ended up helping everything run more smoothly. We could not have asked for a better coordinator!

y for a while and her experience really shows. There was no way that our 12 hour wedding day could have gone without a mishap if it weren’t for Ashley. We hired her for month to month coordination and she worked with us to smooth out all the details. She coordinated with each and every vendor to make sure that things were set to happen accordingly. There are so many examples of her thoughtfulness, but my favorite was the fact that we wanted to do a private bride & groom dinner in a suite while guests were doing cocktail hour, and she coordinated with our DJ to make sure that he brought extra speakers so we had our own dinner music while we dined in private. She also took care of wedding details I did not even think of, such as making sure that our photographer and our transportation person were in contact via phone just in case we got separated when we were going to take wedding party pics at Tryon Creek. On top of all that, she helped set up the church, picked up desserts, and set up our wedding reception venue in a separate location, and our private bride/groom dining suite. She really put out any fire that could have happened and we were able to thoroughly enjoy our special day without worrying about any of the details. For any of your event planning needs, Ashley really is your person to go to!

There were a lot of personalities in the mix: Ashley spent a full three hours at my mom's dining room table with mom, brothers, sisters, and aunts and somehow kept us productive through our laughter, tears (yes, there was crying) and sandwiches. As I think back to write this review maybe we were awful clients?! but Ashley always kept the vibes positive, and moved heaven and earth to make our day(s) special. She was always available and helpful in ways we didn't even know we needed-- picking up slack when it came to design, timeline, and packing up at the end of the night after us grooms had been carried off to our beds. I truly can't recommend her highly enough and would be more than happy to chat with anyone who's considering hiring Ashley!

d throughout the process. My Matron of Honor had talked me into getting a Day of Coordinator so that I would be able to enjoy my wedding and not stress about anything. I was already planning everything else on my own to keep things budget friendly and really wanted to do everything on my own. However, I listened to my Matron of Honor and when I found Blue Lark Events, everything just fell into place! Ashley was a breath of fresh air from the time we first contacted each other and started talking about my needs for the wedding. I appreciate Ashley’s flexibility and organizational skills. I am currently a medical student out of state and she was able to work with my schedule. I appreciate how accessible she is to schedule webcam meetings, responsive emails, and even texts during the wedding prep/day. Ashley thought of things that I would have never been able to think about while planning. With her past experiences, she was able to think ahead and plan things accordingly. She made sure things got done the way that I wanted and talked with me if things needed to be adjusted. She has an instinct about the flow of the environment and schedule for the day. She is also respectful of my time and accomplished discussing all our updates with each meeting. She was respectful and a great communicator to my other vendors and worked well with them to ensure a smooth transition with everyone. I had little children participate as bearers and a flower girl and she was wonderful with them! She made sure to get on their level, speak to them accordingly, and encouraged them when it was their time to do something. While we were setting up our barn venue, Ashley interacted with some of my bridal party who was helping to set things up and after the setup, they would tell me how much they enjoyed working with her. Even my guests noted how much care and attention Ashley took into my wedding. At the end of the event, my husband and I were very pleased and joyful with our wedding day. I trust Ashley with any event and I know that she will work with everyone to make sure our dream event comes true!

g to reception. She was so patient with the two of us. We aren’t the most decisive people, nor are we the most reasonable, but she handled us like a pro. She was there to answer any question we had and was always so quick to respond. She had several phone meetings with us leading up to the big day to make sure we were on track to get everything done on time. She did a rehearsal with us at our house and did an amazing job. She even called our officiant (bride’s uncle), best man, and maid of honor to make sure that they were all on track to have their speeches and everything done in time. On our wedding day, she showed up on time, set everything up and checked in on each of us before the ceremony. Her list of things to do was almost endless and somehow she handled it all effortlessly. We got so many compliments from our close family on what a fabulous job she did. She even tied the groom’s tie when no one else knew how to! I would absolutely recommend her to any bride needing help! Her prices are reasonable and she was wonderful to work with.

n and I pulled it together within a month, so her help was essential so that I didn’t have to coordinate everything on my own wedding day. Prior to the wedding she did check-in appointments where she made sure I had covered all the details. (When is the photographer showing up? Are there champagne flutes where you need them? Do you have a seating chart?) I counted on those check ins to keep me on track during the planning process. Ashley attended the rehearsal and was great at coaching the children in how to behave during the ceremony. On the wedding day she knew my plans and she coordinated with the caterer, the venue, and the photographer so that I didn’t have to. She was a florist prior to coordinating weddings, so I contracted her to do the flowers as well. She went to the flower market and arranged all the flowers on the day of the wedding AND she decorated the cake with flowers. She also set the table, assisted the photographer, directed family, cleaned up the venue, and endeared herself to everyone in my family. I am so grateful that she did all of these things so that I could focus on being a bride. She is an incredible wedding planner. My husband said that she has the “perfect temperament” for it. Kind, reliable, upbeat, and encouraging. I would hire her again in a heartbeat.
