From our first contact with Blue Plate Special, they were a pleasure to work with and provided high-quality food and service.
Catering was one of the things that my husband and ...
I placed as a high priority for our wedding. The food that Blue Plate provided was very tasty and their staff did a great job of making sure that our guests were fed and happy. We have received a lot of compliments from our guests about the food and quality of the staff.
Blue Plate was wonderful!
We were able to do a tasting and build a custom menu. They were accomodating in creating kosher options, and providing a few special plates for friends with dietary restrictions (...
such as gluten intolerance). We did buffet style, but the caterers served myself and the groom so we never had to go through the line, which was actually a relief - we got to eat while everyone else had to go through the line. ut wonderful. The drinks they made (we had lemonade with lavender) were wonderful. The service staff was great, and we hired them to bar tend. Service was very good. The only thing that I could say negatively, is we had a mix of potatoes and sweet potatoes, which was not cooked on site... it didn't travel as well as it could have. But the salmon was cooked onsite and great.
The caterer also helped us with rentals. Food was served with real plates and silverware, lovely table cloths and comfy chairs. Plus, the caterer also had suggestions for decorating that made a huge difference.
