I cannot thank both Katie and Em enough for all of their hard work wedding planning and their flawless execution on the day of my wedding! Their job didn't immediately stop after the reception, either. While we continued celebrating with our friends at a post-party, they drove to our home that night to drop off ALL of our cards guests brought, personal items, top tier of our cake, and left over floral arrangements. It didn't stop there, the next day, Em was kind enough to go to our venue, pick up ALL of the leftover wedding cake, and drop it off at our home. I would give anything to relive my wedding day again! And if I could, Em and Katie at Blue Ribbon Weddings would, once again, be the first call I make! :)

n a wedding planner and after speaking with quite a few planners, speaking to brides who worked with Blue Ribbon Weddings, and being in a wedding where Emily and Katie were the planners I knew there was no other option! And I couldn't be happier with my decision. As my lead planner, Emily made everything leading up to my day easy. She took the time to talk through every little detail and immediately responded to all my crazy questions as the weekend quickly approached. She never made me feel like I was being a bother. On my wedding day Emily and Katie made sure everything was exactly how I envisioned it. They were always within eyesight if I needed them and even though they had to put up with quite a few of my annoying family members they never seemed bothered or put off. In fact, Emily was always there to make sure I was having the perfect day and doing anything in her power to make sure it was everything I dreamed of. Now that I have been married for a few months and have had time to reflect on my wedding day and have attended a few more weddings, I know hiring Emily was one of the best wedding planning decisions that I made. AZING vendors that would coordinate well with our style and wishes. We were very happy we chose her throughout the whole wedding process. She saw our vision and recommended great linens, flowers, etc. to bring together our whole feel. When it came to the week of the wedding we were even more thankful we chose Katie as she worked tirelessly to finalize all last minute details, especially due to the rain forecast on our outdoor wedding and implementing a tent and switching around our seating plan, where the band would go - all of the many logistics we wouldn't even know to consider. The day of the wedding we were even MORE happy we chose to work with Katie. The day went by so smoothly and perfectly. Her team and all of our vendors worked so hard to make the dream of an outdoor wedding ceremony a reality, pulling out all the chairs right before the ceremony and watching the rain to make sure we were able to get our dream. It was the best day, the most beautiful day, and we couldn't have done it without Katie.

The thing that was most important to me on the day of the wedding was NO STRESS and Emily and her team 100% made this goal come true. I could go on on and on about the level of detail, professionalism, and time they put into their work but it would take up pages. I truly feel like for the work their team put into our wedding day and all the days leading up to it, they truly underpaid! This is the first review I've written for any of my vendors because I truly feel they are the most important! Our day went off without a hitch and if you want yours to as well, trust in the services of this AMAZING team!

At our rehearsal, she gave us and our bridal party detailed timelines which referenced down to the minute where we needed to be and what we needed to be doing. Everyone was so impressed and felt so comfortable knowing Em was handling all of the details. When I woke up on our wedding day, I did not have a care in the world because I knew that Em was behind the scenes handling everything. I had full faith in her and when I arrived at our venue and saw everything set up, it was exactly as we had talked about. The entire ceremony and reception ran as smoothly as possible. Em was always checking in with us making sure that we had everything we needed and bringing us to where we needed to be. She completely got my vision and brought it to life. She supervised the entire event, and when the night was all over, she still brought all of our personal items to our hotel room. When we arrived back at the room, everything was organized perfectly for us to bring home the following day. She even brought us back slices of cake and left over catering to enjoy. Overall, our experience with Em from start to finish was five stars. I would (and have) recommend her and Blue Ribbon Weddings to everyone. You won’t regret it!

On the MORNING OF the wedding, Katie was able to provide me with another option - to instead move it to a beautiful atrium area which would provide shelter from any potential rain but also keep the atmosphere I had wished for. She had already confirmed that this option would fit my guest count, and IT. WAS. PERFECT. Guests could not believe that it hadn't been planned that way originally. It provided the intimate dinner party environment that had been important to me since the beginning. My family and I could not be more grateful for what she did in ensuring that we were nothng less than elated on our special day. I would recommend Katie and Em to anyone looking for peace of mind on their wedding day, as well as the days leading up to it.

f service, Blue Ribbon went above & beyond to make sure they had every detail correct, everything perfectly organized, & an exact timeline. All with just the day-of package! I had many questions about vendor services I would actually need & how much to budget. Em was able to answer every question I had, & she responded to my e-mails quickly. She also had a handy guide for tipping & what amount is appropriate. I had numerous questions about etiquette for invitations & thank you notes, for which she was always able to guide me. The idea of a timeline quickly became very overwhelming as I had no idea how much time each activity would take, like cake-cutting, & as the wedding got closer there were just so many details to keep track of. I was able to CC Em on all e-mails and she took over (in a good way). She communicated with vendors on my behalf & smoothed over some miscommunications before I could even put together my e-mails. At our final in-person meeting (yes, in person meetings for day-of coordination!), I was shocked at all the info she already had. I expected to give her my final vision for the day, & she already had a to-the-minute timeline with every specific detail included. Em reviewed all vendor contracts to ensure we knew exactly what services would be provided & who was responsible for what. Em & her assistant did some things for me that vendors would have charged me for otherwise. For example, we re-purposed the arch decor for the ceremony as our head table centerpiece. The florist would have charged $100 to do it, but Em did it for free! I was very impressed with how creative she was. We re-purposed multiple things, & she made the signs for our signature drink. Em continually had great advice on flow of the ceremony & reception. There were many times we felt we may not be able to do things exactly as hoped, & every time she had a plan to make things run how we wanted. Em ran our rehearsal & made it totally effortless. She was prompt & clear. At the rehearsal we also handed over all the supplies we had so we didn't have to bring it the day of. She returned everything to a designated person after the wedding was over so we didn't need to worry about lugging things home. Huge stress relief! Em & her assistant also set up all centerpieces, signs & personalized decor, & cleaned up afterwards. I could not believe how perfect everything looked that day. It was even better than I could have hoped, & was so satisfying to see all of our effort come together. I know it wouldn't have been possible without her and her team! Blue Ribbon has a variety of items you can rent from them. Instead of buying centerpieces, easels & other items I wouldn't use again, we rented them. Em went out of her way to help with centerpieces- she personally delivered them to the florist to fill with flowers so I wouldn't have to. Lastly, Em was there every moment of the wedding to guide us & fend off guests while I tried to eat, she was there every time I needed her, & yet it was like she wasn't there at all, just appearing when needed. Having Blue Ribbon coordinate took so much stress off us. We knew Em had things under control. All we did was show up & have fun. Again- this is just "day of" coordination. I can't recommend them enough. I truly feel Blue Ribbon can't be beat!

d a pretty tight budget, but I knew they’d be invaluable. Their planning portal online was where I lived for the entire planning process and I never felt a lack of attention or help because I had only booked a month of coordinator package. They were there the whole way offering advice on decorations and ideas for the theme I wanted (citrus). The timeline portion was SO helpful and limited stress because I knew what I did or didn’t need to be focusing on which was nice. I loved that I could put info about vendors in the portal so in the future Emily knew who to contact. It saved a lot of time and effort. Then when the month of came and they took over it was a huge weight off of my shoulders. I met Emily and she collected all of my decoration items and told me ‘I’ve got it from here’, and she totally did. She got in touch with all of my vendors, even the ones that were family friends, to make sure that everyone knew where to be and when, and that everyone knew what my expectations were. I ended up DIY my florals for budget reasons and she helped get me in touch with wholesale florists to save some money. My biggest worry was that the venue wouldn’t look like what I wanted it to because neither my mom nor myself would be there for set-up. With Emily and Katie’s help the venue was more than I could expect. She carefully and perfectly decorated the venue with all my signs and knickknacks, she made sure things were placed the way that I envisioned and even enforced my unplugged ceremony rule when a family member stood up and held her cell phone out in the front row. Every single family member complimented on how amazing they were and how they kept things moving in a coordinated and organized fashion. There were no surprises and nothing was out of place. My dress was dragging all night because my bustle wasn’t short enough and they spent all night continuously retying it so I could dance comfortably and enjoy the night. She was there at the cake cutting to make sure I stood the right way so photos would look good. She helped me change my shoes when my feet hurt. When my hair was falling out she repinned it so I’d look nice all night. Emily and Katie weren’t just there for myself and the groom on our wedding day they were there for everything. They took care of every single detail so my mom, my maid of honor, my in-laws, no one had a thing to fret about and could be present enjoying the day. They were more than I could have imagined. They felt like family that day I couldn’t be more thankful.

s it was difficult to explain what I was envisioning, but Emily had such a great sense of what questions to ask, that would ultimately guide us to creating such an amazing, carefree day. It makes it so much more enjoyable when you feel like the people helping you also understand you. Prioritizing is so important when planning a wedding in the little time that we had, and I remember asking Emily if we could do it, if it was even possible, and without a hesitation, she calmly said, “Of course”. Really from then on, there was this confidence that helped carry the whole experience. The entire planning process leading up to the wedding, from helping us pick the right vendors, to helping us write and send out our invitations, Emily was always available and full of helpful advice. I didn’t imagine that meeting with our vendors would be so personal! We made all new friends! Which helped put me into “party mode” rather than making things stressful. And when I’d throw some kind of new idea or change, things were so easily adjusted. I never felt like I couldn’t achieve exactly the idea I was after. The timeline for our wedding day was so full of detail. Everything was coordinated and specifically molded to our particular vision. I really had no doubts about the wedding day that night before and it made for such a better evening with all our friends and family. The wedding day was more than I imagined and there is no way it could have been done with out BRW. When I saw our ceremony and our reception area, I had butterflies. It was exactly as I pictured it in my head all those months (actually nicer than I imagined)! I got so many compliments from guests saying how wonderful the BRW women were, and also how beautiful the wedding was. We didn’t have to worry about the end of the night, and the cherry on top: Emily made sure we had cake to go, to take to our hotel, for our wedding night (and inevitably breakfast ☺). The best gift was that I got to enjoy every second of our wedding weekend. All the time spent with my bridesmaids, every dance with our families, and being able to get lost in little moments with my husband because I knew everything was being taken care of. I don't know how to thank them enough. What wonderful planners and even better friends!

She was always an email away when I had questions and even scheduled a phone call when I was feeling overwhelmed. In our meetings, she asked questions and helped us put into words our vision for the day. She got exactly what we meant, especially since it was a morning ceremony & brunch reception. She read all of our contracts and picked up on things I missed. I don’t remember having a moment of stress on my wedding day due to the coordination of vendors. I woke up the morning of and didn’t have to text or call anyone. Em & Katie were on it! Em worked with many of my vendors before and communicated so well with them. She let me know things when I needed to and left me out of loop on things I didn’t need to know or told me after (like my Publix cake slanting but Arthur’s Catering fixed it before I saw!). The best part… handing all of our items the night before the wedding. We even handed tip envelopes over so my parents could enjoy the day just as much! And anything we were keeping after, made its way back to us. I remember handing my veil over at one point and it made its way back in perfect shape to me. Blue Ribbon Weddings was amazing to work with, not only because of their positive and helpful attitudes, but because they genuinely are happy for you. They want you to have your best day ever and truly know how to bring that to life. Maybe one day they’ll go into baby shower planning so I can work with them again 😉. Em- thank you!!! Having known her once upon a time in a professional setting when I worked for her (so therefore knowing firsthand her attention to detail and just how hard she works!) and looking at her beautiful portfolio online (gorgeous, right?), I knew that she was the one. From our first meeting together, I knew we had made the right decision. During that first meeting, Katie and her colleague, Em, were talking about things that I hadn’t considered or even known about. Somewhere along the line I also tasked Katie with the role of our florist (another brilliant decision!). My engagement was about a year a half; in the beginning, communication was pretty consistent, died down for a bit (since there wasn’t much to do!), and then picked right back up in the months leading up to the day. Katie was also very cognizant of the budgets that my fiancé and I had laid out for her which is of course always appreciated. And if you’ve seen her portfolio, you know that she has a wonderful eye for decor and flowers - everything came out even more beautiful than I could’ve imagined (photos by JP Pratt Photography - who is also amazing!). Katie also helped with much of the correspondence between our venue and other vendors - just another thing I didn’t need to worry about! I cannot emphasize how little stress I experienced the day of my wedding because of Katie and Em. Of course I was nervous, but I was able to take my time getting ready, enjoy time with my girls and family, and not worry about if the tables were set, if the caterer needed anything, who was going to pick up our cake. Everything felt seamless and perfect and I don’t even think anything went wrong and if it did, I have no knowledge of it lol. I loved working with Em leading up to my wedding and she made it very easy to hand over all my worry and allow her to take charge. My biggest concern was working on the timeline and coordinating with all the vendors. Em took care of all of this for me and there were no issues! She also made sure to keep ME on time throughout the wedding day. I also am quite the DIYer and was nervous about the amount of stuff I had done myself being set-up how I wanted and everything was just perfect and everything was packed up on time and loaded into our vehicles to go at the end of the night. Em was there for me throughout the night for anything that may have arisen, and I'm sure there were things happening in the background that I didn't even know about. I am very pleased with all that Blue Ribbon was able to assist me with and I would recommend them to anyone even thinking about having a wedding planner! -Bringing everything you had been envisioning to life

until it was recommended by our venue. Now, I have no idea how we every considered NOT using Em and the team! We initially contacted BRW a year before our wedding and they were immediately responsive. My wife and I felt like we immediately clicked with Em (not to mention that we were an LGBT wedding and we felt extremely accepted by them - an unfortunate conversation we had to have with most of our vendors going into the planning process). Em was amazing throughout our entire planning process, despite us only having the Cobalt package, she answered all questions throughout the entire planning process. As the wedding became closer, she was available 24/7 for me - WITH enthusiasm. She thought of things I never would have thought of and is one of the most organized people I have ever met. She coordinated all vendors and created an intricate timeline down to the minute for wedding day for all vendors to follow. I did not worry about a SINGLE thing leading up to or on my wedding day and it is all because of Em! After the wedding, we had SEVERAL guests tell us how amazing she was - and I agreed! The value that Em and the team provided us is seriously immeasurable. We wish we could do it all over again!

e was the one! Where I didn't know where to start, Katie swooped in and set me on the right track. I didn't have to worry about a single thing with her. We had almost 200 guests, 24 people in our bridal party, and she not only ran our rehearsal with finesse, but our wedding day was met with the utmost professionalism and attention to detail. Katie nailed down what was important to me and made sure all my dreams came true that day. I didn't have to worry about getting in touch with a single vendor as our day approached and our day ran so beautifully. Katie made sure to send goodies and food for us in our limo and that all our cards came with us. When I needed something, I turned and either Katie or Lindsay was there for me. Anything I hadn't thought of, it seemed like Katie had already taken care of it. She was there for opinions, guidance, and to talk me off ledges! Not to get all mushy, but I couldn't have imagined that day without Katie; she was the last smiling face I saw before I walked down the aisle, she talked me out of some nerves that day, and even gave me her adorable glitter Keds to wear when my heels started to kill. Katie is a gem, and although she started off as my wedding planner, I am blessed to call her a friend.

Katie checked in during my year of planning and helped tie together all of the loose ends. My wedding was perfect. She and her team went above and beyond as my husband and best friend brought my birth certificate to the wedding instead of our marriage license lol. However, no need to panic because she drove to my home, got the license and drove back to the wedding. AMAZING!?! We could’ve easily sent a family member but I didn’t even have I worry about it. Katie and her team are wonderful to work with and I would recommend anyone getting married to them. Even 2 months after our wedding she has checked in with us. She asked questions that prompted me to think about things that weren't even on my radar. And she validated my plans/thoughts that were already underway. My wedding day turned out beautifully! At the end of the night we went up to our room and everything had already been packed up and organized ready for us to transport back home the next day. I seriously can't say enough about Em and Blue Ribbon Weddings, I want to have another wedding just so they can help plan it again. None of our family or bridal party lives in Orlando so I especially appreciated having someone that could come to meetings with me when my husband was unavailable and just to have another opinion to bounce ideas off of. I also had her as our florist and not only were the affordable, they were gorgeous. I gave her some photos I liked, told her ONE flower I really wanted and she designed all our gorgeous bouquets. Multiple people have said they were the prettiest they'd ever seen. On the day of, I literally didn't have to worry about a thing. She had everything moving like clockwork and I didn't even second guess if something was going to happen or not. My family pretty much all wrote her thank you emails immediately following the wedding and even attendees noticed how on top of things she was. And when I told them that she did my flowers? Floored. I've told all my engaged friends and now I'm telling you - do yourself a favor and hire Katie. It'll be the best wedding present you give to yourself!!

Plus, she did all of this while my fiancé and I were planning the wedding from afar (living in NYC but the wedding was in my hometown). We had no problem staying in touch, despite the distance, with FaceTime, email and phone calls/texts. Also, you can easily book florals through Em's partner, Katie, who was also wonderful to work with. Katie has an extensive knowledge of flowers, she listens to your feedback and brings your vision (or, like in my case, my Mom’s vision) to life They also offer doing a trial for florals which was great because you can see the mock and make adjustments to ensure you get just want you want on the wedding day. As a bonus, hiring Blue Ribbon means you get access to their incredibly helpful wedding planning tool – Aisle Planner. This system allows you to track your budget, plan your guest list (and track RSVPs and organize table arrangements), create design boards, plan To-Dos, etc. all in one place. .. It was the best decision that I made! Emily was always there to answer our questions, meet with vendors and give much needed guidance and input. She made copious notes as we had a blended wedding , with 2 separate ceremonies that required detailed planning. She scrutinized the Vendor Contracts and saved us from a wedding day disaster, as we had mistakenly booked the wrong size Stage for the Band. Fortunately, thanks to Em, the mistake was corrected and all went well! We also hired Katie Scully from Blue Ribbon Weddings for our Floral arrangements. She was amazing too, and created wonderful centerpieces and Chuppah arrangements that pretty much duplicated pictures that I had sent her. Thanks to both Emily and Katie, the wedding day went off seamlessly. The ceremony and reception rooms looked beautiful and elegant They coordinated the processionals and recessionals for both ceremonies. and thanks to the very detailed Time Line (32 pages, I believe!) we all celebrated the wedding with ease. Blue Ribbon offers a wide rage of services, but if you're like me, I basically needed my hand held every step of the way. They not only helped me plan my wedding, but the rehearsal dinner as well. Emily was beyond amazing, all the guests were so impressed with how well executed the big day was, but I cannot take much credit for that. Emily was always there when I needed her, answering questions, budgeting, confirming vendors, making sure I'm not overwhelmed, always had suggestions if I was uncertain about things, etc,. (Literally the list goes on.) For example, It's hard to think about the amount of alcohol for a group of 120 people, but no, Blue Ribbon has a PDF for that. If you are intimidated, uncertain, worried, or just don't have the time to plan, do yourself (and your future husband!) a favor and hire Blue Ribbon.

I was able to actually enjoy my entire wedding because she was there wedding night coordinating everything and making sure it all ran smoothly. I also have not been to a lot of weddings and had no idea about etiquette, prioritizing, ideas or even where to start and Emily guided us the entire way. Her timeline and sychronization of vendors on the wedding night was amazing. All my guests commented on how smooth the wedding flowed and they just enjoyed the night INCLUDING ME and my husband!! The set up was everything I had imagined plus more and there was no breakdown or clean up afterwards that anyone had to worry about. It was all taken care of. After the wedding reception, my husband and i returned to our room to find all our things already in place, the room completely clean with a little parting gift with cake and champagne. It was totally unexpected and such a nice touch. Emily and her team brought everything we had envisioned for our wedding to light and it was truly like a fairy tale night. Its odd because I barely saw Emily and her team the entire night but they were always there in the background getting things done, resolving issues, and just making sure everything ran smoothly. This was truly the best investment I could have made for my wedding. I contemplated having a family member or friend do my wedding planning for me and I am SOOOO glad I decided to hire Blue Ribbon Wedding & Event Design because they were the right people for the job. Every vendor she recommended was top notch and made the whole day go so smoothly. She answered every call, text, and e-mail quickly and with answers to all my questions. On the day of the event, she had a great assistant and everything went so smoothly and my groom and I were able to truly enjoy the joy of our wedding day with no stress. It changed the whole experiance for me and having someone to bounce all the little and big things off of was amazing. Also the team at Blue Ribbon helped my wedding day go off without a hitch (well at least as far as I know). Katie really pulled it together behind the scenes. our guest were not once confused, the travel coordination was flawless (we had a commercial bus for our guests in addition to the limo services). Kimberly really wanted the guests in the right place at the right time and this was a concern that Katie handled with ease. It was important that Kim had ample communication directly with Katie. This was handled often with multiple check-ins throughout the day and evening. Kim was very concerned about her dress the entire day. Katie is a "bustle machine (sp?)" wow constant attention here. Katie was so thoughtful to have food wrapped for us at the hotel that night. She also ensured we had something to eat during the early reception - so thoughtful. We will never forget Katie and Emily. ause we loved her style and how incredibly detailed she is. Because Katie Scully is the bomb, we put together a list of why you should hire BRW for your wedding: 1. WE WOULD HAVE DIED WITHOUT HER. Dramatic but although our wedding day went by as smooth as butter, we were really stressed planning WITH a coordinator. Her team helped us plan everything and when the day finally came, it was so perfect. 2. You're treated like a friend. Katie and Emily are an absolute dream to work with. Plus other coordinators charge for anything more than day-of coordinating which felt a little cold. I was able to run decisions by Katie (colors, etiquette, vendors, etc) through text or email and she was happy to give some quick advice. Little things that go a long way. 3. We saved tons of money. Katie has made lots of connections and people adore her so we got discounts there. When we needed to trim the budget, she was able to recommend alternative decor and repurpose flowers, that still looked great, and saved us hundreds of dollars. Plus she was already fairly priced to begin with so essentially paid for itself. 4. Floral and rentals. Katie is also an AWESOME florist. She is knowledgeable and created gorgeous arrangements. She also collects antique and rustic decor and will rent them for super cheap which saved us money. 5. Personalized wedding app. They use the Aisle Planner app which gives a detailed checklist, allows for collaboration and helps you stay on track with budget, guests and vendors. Way better than the Knot's and WW's apps. Bottom line: Hire Blue Ribbon Weddings. While there are other good coordinators, Katie is the best. I cannot thank them enough for literally making my dreams come true and executing my vision so perfectly and making everything so seamless. Katie really took her time to work with me to get the look I wanted in every detail and was even able to make adjustments so that my vision would fit in our budget.
