We had the absolute best experience working with Julie and Chris of Blue Skies Video. From the very beginning, they were complete pros — organized, calm, and genuinely invested in making sure our day was captured beautifully. Julie even took the time to meet with us for a consultation before the wedding, offering valuable insight that helped us shape our timeline and ensure the day flowed smoothly.

Blue Skies HD does phenomenal work! Julie was so detailed and helped provide guidance on a wedding day timeline. The day of our wedding they were professional and everywhere but you didn't really know they were everywhere. So they were able to capture moments you didn't even know they were around for. We anxiously waited for our videos to come back to us and when they did...just wow! The video were edited so well and just amazing to watch. We watched them over and over!

Julie was the absolute best! She is incredibly organized and willing to help with every detail (she even helped review our timeline for the big day)!! Julie was so professional, prompt and easy to work with! Tom, who was our videographer on our wedding day, was phenomenal. He was there early to set up, wanting to catch all the special moments throughout the day. Tom was amazing at communicating with us and even followed behind our bus to capture moments downtown before heading to the reception. I can’t say enough about this fantastic group!!

Blue Skies work is AMAZING! Julie and Chris really do go above and beyond for your big day to make it less stressful and bring a calming sense with them. Julie is great with helping plan out the wedding day timeline and communicating what is expected before your big day!
Our video did take exactly 16 weeks to be delivered to us but it was worth the wait! They make sure they get to know you before your wedding so they can capture your true emotions and personalities within the video. If you don't mind waiting a few months to get your video, I would highly recommend Blue Skies!

There aren't enough words to describe how wonderful Julie and Chris are. From the moment we connected and decided to go with BlueSkies they were helpful in planning every detail of the day, getting to know me and my husband in order to customize our experience, and on the day of the wedding they were absolutely instrumental in making sure everything went off without a hitch. Our wedding videos are beyond what we could ever have expected and we just could not possibly be more grateful to Julie and Chris for everything they've done for us. - flexible & personal - they took the time to get to know us and help plan the day, without being too much or intrusive
- quality of our videos - we love them. We got the highlight reel, a 45 min produced video and extra footage. It’s the perfect way to remember our day - they captured both the people and the venue/ambiance in a way that pictures can’t.
- value - we didn’t want to spend a ton on the videographer, and they were priced fairly (and for what we got, it’s incredible!)

Excellent. Filmed our genuine selves and didn’t film a movie, but filmed OUR love story. Turn around time was amazing. They’re hilarious and even though videographers are optional, after working with Blue Skies I feel like they are essential in capturing your most precious wedding moments.

I found Blue Skies at the Columbus Bridal show last year with my mom, and watching their amazing wedding videos play in the background caught our eye. The quality and creativity in each video was gorgeous, and made my “should we get a videographer?” question so easy to answer. YES.
Julie and Chris easily guided us through the whole process, gave great communication and ideas, and during the big day they captured every single moment beautifully! Our video, with the songs we picked, is beyond perfect and I’m so thankful to have found and went with Blue Skies!

I searched all over Orlando and Tampa for a solid videographer for three months! Then I saw my coworkers wedding video from Blue Skies and I was blown away. I have never seen such beautiful video and it was edited like a professional TV show. Julie and Chris are the owners and they go back-and-forth between Florida and Ohio- Julie is beyond organized and fast in her communications. we had to move our wedding back for months because of the pandemic and this was the only vendor who did not charge us fees for moving our wedding date. they were early the day of our wedding, they clearly knew how to shoot and what they needed to do, and they could not of been any friendlier. Julie is extremely knowledgeable in wedding timelines. I am most blown away by how pretty my video is especially the flying drone on the beach. I can’t tell you how thankful I am to have found Blue Skies right here in St. Pete, Florida!!! Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart and I will recommend you to everyone I know.

Julie and Chris jumped in when everyone else jumped out for the Covid weddings. We were supposed to have a large wedding but it was cancelled and moved to a backyard wedding at our house. We wanted to keep everyone safe so Julie told me about their videography and ONE day turn around so we could host a watch party for those that couldn't attend. It was more than I could ever imagine! Throughout our planning process, I was pretty confident we didn’t need a videographer. My dad decided a week before our wedding that we did. Wedding number three for us with Blue Skies Video! That is a strong statement on the professionalism, talent and kindness that Julie and Chris exemplify. Our daughters were so very lucky to have this team work with them. The videos are beautiful and really catch the essence of the entire day. We all would have missed a lot if not for these two videographers who have a second sense as to what is important and meaningful to each couple. We tell every bride we know, “Don’t pass on the video!” The memories are brought out every anniversary and will be there forever. Julie and Chris have fantastic personalities to be in this business. Julie and Chris are a power team! They traveled to Maine for our destination wedding to capture the most beautiful footage of the scenery and the love between my husband and I. They were able to put together a short video clip (within a month) to recap all of the special moments during our wedding day for our guests to watch during our reception back home. Our guests are STILL talking about it and I'm guilty of watching it at least once a day! :) Julie and Chris are professional and loving and truly truly care about their bride/groom and their families. Blue Skies is awesome! Julie was wonderful to work with. She helped with the little details and made sure everything was just perfect. They traveled to Bar Harbor Maine for the wedding and put a video together to show at the reception a month later so our guests could see the first looks, wedding ceremony and the awesome scenery. They also video the reception in Columbus. I highly recommend Blue Skies for anyone that is looking for a wonderful and talented team to capture your special moments!

Only one word to describe this truly remarkable company... AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! My entire family has used this company for their weddings! My Mom passed away three years ago, before she passed my sister was married. My Mom loved this company and seeing /hearing her in my sister’s wedding video is something that I will always hold close to my heart. My Father is older and there is no question that I chose Blue Skies to capture yet again incredible everlasting moments. Blue Skies also put together a step by step timed itinerary that made it SO easy for me to communicate with all my vendors!! Blue Skies not only filmed our wedding, but saved us from what would have been a disaster. Our limo had no air conditioning and my sister was pregnant (almost to her due date) AND it was the hottest day of the year! Blue Skies put forth a lot of effort communicating with the limo company and we ended up riding in an updated Limo with air conditioning!! I have never heard of a video and film production doing that! If you would like an outstanding, above and beyond company then I suggest you hire Blue Skies!! You will NOT regret it!!!!

If I could rate them higher I would! Julie and Chris were beyond amazing to work with. They shot our wedding on 6/21/19. Even before our special day they were available to us for questions and planning. During the day of the wedding they were on point with all the details and kept both my husband and I on schedule. Julie and Chris were absolutely fantastic. We were planning our wedding from overseas and they made everything so easy. Not only were they both available for questions or support at any time, they both went above and beyond helping us on our wedding day itself. In addition to filming our fabulous wedding video, when I got mud of the front of my dress during the first look, Julie literally sat on the ground scrubbing it off until it looked completely new. I was introduced to Blue Skies at my sister's wedding six years ago and I remember being impressed. For my wedding, I met with Julie one of the owners. Julie is amazing. She is not only highly experienced in wedding videos, but also is extremely experienced in weddings, in general. Julie videoed my wedding and I met Chris, the other owner the day of my wedding-he clearly knew what he was doing and I didn't notice Blue Skies was there other than when they first arrived. During our photography session after the ceremony, my photographer was not helpful at all in figuring creative positions and photos to take. But Blue Skies knew how to position us and my still photographer literally took photos of us while he let Blue Skies direct. Thank goodness I hired an experienced videographer! My photos are not the best, but I went cheap and hired a photographer who has only been in business for four years. There is something to be said for hiring vendors who have done a TON of weddings. THANK YOU Blue Skies for giving me the most beautiful memory of my wedding day - my video!

We love our wedding video! Blue Skies provided us with a true documentary of our wedding day which we will cherish forever. We did have a few small issues-My husband and I had a specific plan for our first look because we didn't like the videos of the bride being right behind the groom and tapping him on the shoulder. We felt like the groom couldn't get a good look at the bride's dress that way. When I shared our idea, I felt like I got push back. I wanted to do the same with my dad but it wasn't done. Nonetheless, we have an amazing video to share with our family and friends, and we were very happy to work with Blue Skies.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Julie and Chris were amazing and on top of everything. They were able to capture so many parts of our wedding and the video will be something we will watch. Julie also took the time to help us do the entire timeline for our wedding, which was awesome because we had NO clue what we were doing with that. Blue Skies is totally worth the money we paid! Videographers are typically something that most couples just cannot stomach spending the money on when their wedding budget is already so tight. Julie and Chris really worked with my husband and I to pick a package that was perfect for us, and really helped make capturing our day seamless. Julie and Chris live in Westerville, so they were easy to coordinate schedules with to meet to hear more about their business. We immediately clicked, Julie was so organized and professional. Chris actually shot our wedding day and he was absolutely perfect for us. His low-maintenance personality really made us slow down and enjoy our day. He captured some of the most amazing moments in such a special way. They were able to get us our wedding video almost exactly 10 weeks from our wedding date; they expected 8-16 weeks, so they were incredibly timely!! They are just such a great duo together and they were so reasonably priced and flexible with payments toward the final cost. You cannot go wrong with them!!

I hired Blue Skies over a year in advance for my April 8, 2017 wedding, and thank goodness I booked them early because they were easily the BEST vendor of the day.
I originally met with Julie, one of the owners of Blue Skies (they are husband and wife owned) and Julie's attention to detail was amazing. They have shot over 950 weddings, and they know so much information not only about weddings, but about vendors, venues, still photographers, wedding planners and coordinators-- was so nice having someone experienced on my side.
I was able to call them anytime before, and after the wedding, and they were always cheerful and willing to help. On the day of the wedding, my band was having technical issues with their microphones, and Blue Skies was able to use their video microphones in place of the bands microphones. I could not believe how beautiful my wedding video was when I got it back. Blue Skies was THE BEST investment overall from my wedding and I highly recommend them to anyone wanting a solid wedding vendor and a solid wedding videographer.

Blue Skies exceeded all of our expectations. We booked them almost 2 years in advance. They responded to us quickly every single time we ask to meet up or have questions for them during our planning process. They were always very friendly and willing to help. For the day of the wedding, they were great. They helped keep Our time line in track but we didn't notice them filming, which is exactly what you want from a videographer. They got our video back quickly (6 weeks) even though it is the busiest season and with holidays. we have watched it dozens of times since getting it back and it is truly amazing . There attention to detail and the drone filming really makes Julie and Chris stand out against there competitors. Their video quality was great and the video montages were fun to watch. We highly recommend hiring Blue Skies. Everything about them from first contacting them to the final product was great. We can not find a single complaint even if we tried.
