ct place to gather with family and friends. The property looked exactly like the photos, was spacious, comfortable, and provided a beautiful setting for such a special time in our lives. The Hive was wonderful to work with from start to finish. Communication was excellent, and they were always responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. For couples planning a wedding, I especially recommend staying on-site if you have a smaller guest list. Having everyone together made the entire week more enjoyable and allowed us to spend meaningful time with our loved ones. The only minor issues we encountered were some flies inside when we arrived and ticks in the outdoor areas. The team explained that the flies were likely related to previous guests, and being in the mountains, ticks are somewhat expected. I did suggest spraying the yard to help reduce ticks for future guests. One small suggestion for wedding parties would be adding a full-length mirror to the master bedroom. As the bride, I realized I never really got a chance to see my entire wedding-day look before heading to the ceremony, and I think a full-length mirror would be a great addition for future couples getting ready at the lodge. Overall, these were very minor concerns and did not take away from our experience at all. We truly loved our stay, and we would absolutely recommend Blue Spruce Grand Lodge and The Hive to anyone looking for a beautiful mountain getaway or wedding lodging experience.
