I got married at this venue in October 2023. I had an amazing experience with Sallie and her team who were so patient and kind when helping me figure out all of the little details. The day of, the venue was absolutely gorgeous, I couldn’t have asked for a prettier venue. Sallie was so supportive and you could tell she really cares about her clients and does everything in her power to make sure you have a perfect day. I would highly recommend this venue, there’s so many different options where you can do your ceremony and reception, the venue is beautiful, and Sallie does everything she can to support you and make planning easy. Her pricing is also very reasonable. So glad we found this place!!

Bluebird Haven Estates is a wedding reception venue located in Madisonville, TX. Part artist studio, part wedding venue, this has become an escape for its owner and employees who want to share its magic with others. Opening in January 2020, this venue is the vision of its owner, Sallie Reid. Her faith has driven her to create a place where all people can celebrate their most joyous occasions. After raising her children, Sallie fulfilled her dream of obtaining her bachelor’s degree in studio arts from Sam Houston State University. Her passion for art has guided her to bring her inspiration to life. She hopes that others may experience a sense of wonder and beauty on this lush property. A gated entrance opens to a long tree-lined driveway. The sun shines over the expansive lawn as you’re led deeper into the estate’s 30 acres. A sense of calm is derived from the gentle sounds of nature and the soft Texas breeze. The Pond of Still Waters, The Amazing Grace Chapel, and Serenity Garden each provide spaces for quiet reflection. The vision for this venue is one of love and acceptance. It is a refuge for artists and a place where couples can show their deepest appreciation for one another. Sallie has created a place to dream and explore faith through creativity and romance. As this venue is meant to create a comfortable space for everyone, Sallie and her team are happy to accommodate religious, non-religious, and interfaith ceremonies. Couples can choose where on the property they would like to hold their ceremony and the staff at this venue will aim to accommodate their request. This relaxing estate is flexible, hosting both indoor and outdoor events. They’re happy to host elopements, vow renewals, and commitment ceremonies. It is truly a place for reflection, romance, and artistic pursuits. Choosing to host your wedding at Bluebird Haven Estates comes with a special gift from Sallie. After meeting and learning more about your relationship, she will create a one-of-a-kind painting that represents the love and emotion that make your journey unique. This painting can be revealed at the reception, or you may choose to view it in a private moment. Each work comes with a distinct wedding blessing written specifically for you.

The day of, the venue was absolutely gorgeous, I couldn’t have asked for a prettier venue. Sallie was so supportive and you could tell she really cares about her clients and does everything in her power to make sure you have a perfect day. I would highly recommend this venue, there’s so many different options where you can do your ceremony and reception, the venue is beautiful, and Sallie does everything she can to support you and make planning easy. Her pricing is also very reasonable. So glad we found this place!!

or was efficient and easy, and we were treated like family rather than a customer which I think is rare in customer service today. The only issue was that our DJ, who we booked through the venue, was not great. With that said we are still happy with our decision to have our wedding at Bluebird Haven Estates and would highly recommend them to other couples!

y wife and I looked at a few other venues, but couldn’t quite get that 100% good vibe until we checked out Bluebird Haven Estates, family owned by Sallie. Sallie and her assistant, Jaclyn worked hard day and night helping us plan our special day with lots of love, affection and care along with always going that extra mile, making sure everything went as smooth and organized as possible. The venue is well maintained and with tons of land, lots of amazing unique custom touches, horseshoes for kids (and adults) along with plenty of parking behind the venue in the back as well making Bluebird Haven Estates the one for the win! My wife and I both received so many nice compliments for the wedding venue. The spectacular metal siding/metal roof Venue was gorgeous inside, has a full upstairs bridal suite with a circular window overlooking the property providing a beautiful view and there is also a groomsmen suite downstairs as well. There is an added bonus of a mini sound system in the actual venue which contains a wireless mic and 2 nice size great sounding speakers as well with aux jack for music playing. The venue is equipped with a kitchen containing 2 full size refrigerator/freezer units along with a range and a kitchen sink. We loved the dock and pond with the bonus of the multicolored light fountain viewed at night along with the stars and decided to have the ceremony outside. We are very blessed to find this one of a kind gem and everyone had a great time! There is a gorgeous guest house available for rent towards the right with a when you enter the property that also has another garden perfect for additional pictures. The guest house sleeps 18 people which is a huge convenience for family! Hotels are also available with in 2 miles of the Venue for guests.

ecorations are required. Sallie made everything come together for us. She is open-minded to all of your ideas and works with you to make your wedding day exactly what you want. We are still getting compliments from guests on how gorgeous the venue was! On top of that, the pricing is very reasonable. Once you visit this venue, you will fall in love. This place is truly a "haven" in the midst of wedding planning stresses. On my wedding day, I felt completely serene and ready to marry my best friend surrounded by all of our favorite people. Perfection!

These questions engrossed my thoughts as I searched for a wedding venue. I am sure those reading this can relate. All my thoughts fell to peace when I met the venue owner, Sallie. This brilliant host understood and delivered our needs beyond my wildest expectation. Wedding planning is stressful. As an artist, Sallie’s calming presence and innate eye for beauty keeps you focused on the most important aspects of your special day. As a businesswoman, Sallie’s stellar communication and logistical skills allows her to seamlessly coordinate vendors. She is experienced, professional, and deeply authentic. She shares in your joy, and anticipates the needs of everyone in your wedding party. This stunning venue coupled with Sallie’s expertise absolved the “day of” pressures allowing my family to be fully present in the celebration of a sacred bond, which can often be overshadowed by chaos at other venues. I will forever look back on my wedding in awe of the elegance, joy, and celebration shared by all. My guests kept approaching me with “Congratulations! This is the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to!” and I attribute that to Sallie.

s, and the most perfect dream of a wedding come to fruition. If you are having trouble deciding where to book your wedding or event, believe me, I know how it feels. My wife and I went all over in search of the perfect place. With respect to the surrounding area, it was the help of Sallie, that ultimately helped us come to the decision of booking at the Bluebird Haven. I appreciated the transparency of cost, expectations to uphold, and help in the overall process she provided. If I were to do it all over, I sincerely wouldn't change a thing! It was perfect!

The owner of Bluebird Haven Estates is amazing. She is very accommodating, flexible, etc. We threw a bunch of crazy ideas at her about our wedding (skydiving in, leaving on a fire ...

engine) and she said yes, let’s do it! She was so sweet and always just a call/text away. We toured the venue several times to help with planning and she was always welcoming. The venue is stunning. All of the little features are handmade and have so much character. It is a place you cannot replicate because of that. I loved that it isn’t a huge commercialized event space with clauses and requirements. I encourage touring the space and letting its beauty speak for itself.
