Ideal for weddings of 20–80 guests (up to 100 maximum), Bluebird Ocean Point offers both indoor and outdoor options to bring your vision to life. Exchange vows on the Waterfront Lawn with up to 80 loved ones gathered at the water’s edge, where waves gently crash against the shore. Celebrate afterward with an outdoor reception beneath the coastal sky or dine and dance indoors in the inviting Ocean Point Kitchen—perfect for receptions, showers, and gatherings of up to 80 guests.
As the evening winds down and stars fill the sky, your guests can retreat to one of 61 thoughtfully appointed rooms, cottages, and suites, available as discounted room blocks for your celebration. For a truly private experience, the property is also available for full buyouts.
Throughout your stay, guests can enjoy the natural beauty of Ocean Point—hiking, swimming, fishing, or simply relaxing poolside. The in-house culinary team will craft a custom menu designed to delight from first bite to last, ensuring a wedding experience that feels both effortless and unforgettable.

Outside of work, Kevin enjoys chasing sunsets and discovering new hiking trails with his wife and son. A true New Englander at heart, he’s inspired by the region’s coastal charm and the electrifying spirit of Boston sports.

Solo staycation at Bluebird Ocean Point Inn to escape Portland. The location is absolutely beautiful, and the ocean views are unbeatable, the perfect place to spend hours reading and relaxing.
The pool was a great size with plenty of loungers,...
making it easy to settle in for the day without feeling crowded. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and had way more amenities than I expected. Everything from parking to WiFi to check-in was simple and easy, which made the stay feel effortless.
What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure guests were having a great experience. There’s also a wonderful restaurant on-site and a really cute little retail shop that made the property feel even more special.
Bonus that the property is pet friendly. Next time I’m definitely bringing friends and renting one of the cottages for a longer stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing coastal getaway in Maine.

The excellent location was only surpassed by the superb five star food at Ocean Point Kitchen. Best scallop dinner I ever had. Key Lime Pie was never my wife’s favorite until she tried it there…strongly recommend!!! The only thing that rivaled ...
our meals was the absolute perfect customer service by the property manager, Jim Bjourman, and his fantastic staff. I am running out of superlatives to properly describe how they treated us. My wife, pup and I definitely will go back!

Buffet with omlet station included in the price would be wonderful .little expensive for not having breakfast included. Didn't have coffee ect for the room .lobby coffee was empty at 11 but they just opened 2 days before so there's things that ...

Lobby - Nice people working at the front desk, coffee in the lobby (person at the front desk said it is usually in the rooms, but not currently because the coffee shipment is behind), there is a ice machine outside next to the stairs.

In one word this “boutique hotel” is rough!! The only good thing I can say about it is that I’m thankful we’re only here for one night!! Where do I even begin!?! Upon entry, you can’t even open the door, only two outlets in the entire place, yo...
u can totally see in the room from the outside due to their Roman blinds. After a cold afternoon, exploring Maine, all I wanted was a hot shower and instead I got a lukewarm one which included, I kid you not….skid marks on my “freshly” cleaned towels…Mildew and cobwebs on the ceiling, And we won’t even talk about the musty smell as soon as you walk in. Bathroom is missing light fixtures. Ice bucket doesn’t include liners. The only thing this place has going for it is its view. Find another place to stay, this is in need of a HUGE renovation. Zero stars, would not recommend. Offered us an upgrade for an extra 20 bucks and honestly, I don’t even know what it got us….UPDATE…was up all night due to breathing problems. If you have any lung issues what so ever you should not stay here. Talked to other guests who had similar problems. Also dogs started barking non-stop starting at 6AM. Half and half was curdled, and all they offered us was a couple $30 vouchers for another visit. Like we’re going to be back!!
