Ideal for weddings of 20–80 guests (up to 100 maximum), Bluebird Ocean Point offers both indoor and outdoor options to bring your vision to life. Exchange vows on the Waterfront Lawn with up to 80 loved ones gathered at the water’s edge, where waves gently crash against the shore. Celebrate afterward with an outdoor reception beneath the coastal sky or dine and dance indoors in the inviting Ocean Point Kitchen—perfect for receptions, showers, and gatherings of up to 80 guests.
As the evening winds down and stars fill the sky, your guests can retreat to one of 61 thoughtfully appointed rooms, cottages, and suites, available as discounted room blocks for your celebration. For a truly private experience, the property is also available for full buyouts.
Throughout your stay, guests can enjoy the natural beauty of Ocean Point—hiking, swimming, fishing, or simply relaxing poolside. The in-house culinary team will craft a custom menu designed to delight from first bite to last, ensuring a wedding experience that feels both effortless and unforgettable.

We loved our stay it was an impromptu decision to go and I found this on the Hyatt website and booked it. Next time we will bring our dog and get a bigger room ours would be too small for us and a dog. But so many people brought their dogs and ...
it was still absolutely quiet. The staff is friendly and accommodating- the rooms are clean and comfortable- the bar has entertainment on Thursday nights and it was an absolute blast - we can't wait to return next year! Thanks to the manager, Jim who was so welcoming and thoughtful.

We stayed at the inn for 5 days in early September and had the best time. Our room, with king sized bed and ocean view porch, was just perfect. It was spacious, clean, and very cute.

nicer. The service was highly attentive, but still casual and laid back. Everyone was very warm.

ter guests. We stayed in the king cottage and we had to literally turn the coffee table on its side to have anywhere to put our suitcases. The couch, coffee table, and media unit/dresser in the living room area is massive in comparison to the room. We were excited to have down time in here when we booked it but upon arriving realized it was way too cramped to be enjoyable. The king bed was comfy and the bedding was great but the room is just way too tiny for a bed that big. I have bruises all over my legs from running into the bed frame because there’s no room to walk around the bed. You literally have to walk sideways with your back pressed against the wall to get past the bed. I also wish the shower had a door. We had to lay towels all over the floor because water doesn’t stay inside the shower. Some serious interior design flaws in the king cottage.

My sister and I spent 2 nights here last week. The setting is gorgeous! The food in the restaurant was very good as was the service. Unfortunately, our room (315) was awful. The bathroom was tiny, musty and had some black growing on the ceiling...
over the toilet. The room itself was so small that my sister kept hitting her leg on the bed post. Beautiful place! Friendly people! Bad bad room!

Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Our biggest problem was how small the room was. It was much smaller than the picture online. It was hard to handle our luggage for 4 people in such a small room. The bathroom was so tiny!

picture on their site I would have booked a larger room.
So beware when you are booking. If booking a room above the restaurant expect a smaller room then what you see online.
If there was only a king it would have been perfect for two people.
So, my rating is solely based on the deception of the online pictures compared to what we actually received.
Service was great. They have a pool table, and large Jenga, and cornhole outside. There are picnic tables outside. Definitely a beautiful place.
You are about 15 minutes from Boothbay.
