To start, make sure your during your pre consultation that you are very clear about what you want. After the deposit was made I felt my concerns were not clearly addressed. Michelle was very kind and professional but I felt some things did not turn out the way we discussed. Nor did we discuss a timeline of delivery (along with other details) which I felt was on bluegrass to address instead of myself asking for answers. The biggest mishap was my bouquet. I asked for my MOH to have a SMALLER version of my boutique with certain colors. I made it clear I did not want it to be obviously the same as my bouquet. Well the day of me wedding comes and my boutique is smaller than my MOHs. We had already needed to start photos so we were stuck with it for a while with photos and we could not find a florists. My bridal party agreed with me as well as other family members that were near me. My MOH was even confused as to which bouquet was mine and which one was hers. When we were finally able to track a member from Bluegrass down we let her know of the issue. She then took the bouquet away to fix it. Mind you we are on a timeline for photos & our ceremony so some of our photos we didn't have our florals. When she came back I still felt it did not make much of a difference as far as size and color combination. Also considering the bridesmaids flowers were huge in my opinion. I am still pretty livid that my bouquet looked exactly like my MOHs but smaller and smaller than the bridesmaids. I do not see how this was even possible for them to think was a good idea. With that said, I loved my reception flowers but for my budget I felt some of the center pieces were a little smaller. I made it very clear I wanted a very lush look. I do not think they were honest about giving me that. If my budget was the issue again I would have liked better communication and direction. Although I loved my sweetheart table and center pieces I would not recommend this company considering how frustrating it is to have your bouquet be SMALLER than the bridal party. As a bride this should not be a concern.

The most beautiful wedding flowers. Everything looked like a dream. They were excellent with communication and flexible with changes I made frequently. Would highly recommend.

Bluegrass Chic exceeded my expectations in every way. The bouquets were stunning. I loved the gras/non-flower additions. I loved that it incorporated my inspiration pics but far outdid them. I loved the flower choices. I felt like she understood my very choppy description of what I was going for, and created pieces that were absolutely beautiful and perfect. If my own reviews aren't enough, I received so SO many compliments on the flower decorations, everything from the floor sign arrangement to the centerpieces and my bouquet. I can't wait to get the photographer pictures so I can see them again! I chose Bluegrass Chic because I knew that the floral decorations were a priority for me, and I wanted the best company, the best team, to be involved with them. I don't have a strong knowledge of flowers (didn't know roses came in that many colors and varieties), I just had photos of things I liked and didn't like. So I knew I needed to work with someone who had a solid understanding of aesthetics in trying to interpret my descriptions. I looked a lot at the photos on social media and immediately knew Bluegrass Chic was the company I wanted to do my floral arrangements. And with every new vendor that we booked, when asked what other vendors we were using, as soon as I would say Bluegrass Chic the response was an immediate "oh you have a great team" so I knew we had made the right choice.

Bluegrass Chic brought our wedding vision to life. Everyone loved the personal floral; as well as the cherry blossom trees and white floral infinity arch. Madeline went above and beyond to bring our vision to life and we couldn’t be more thankful!

A big shout out to Meghan Fuerst Mcannally! The wedding flowers that she helped put together for our daughter Jordan and her fiancé Graham’s wedding at the Dr. Phillips Center, was nothing short of spectacular. It was a wonderful stress- free and seamless experience! Meghan listened to our design ideas, kept us on budget and executed everything perfectly. Her ability to bring our floral ideas to life was amazing. She did not miss a detail! She coordinated everything with our amazing wedding planner Deidre/BlushBBG and the event center flawlessly! When we walked into Dr. Phillips center and saw the terrace and how perfect it was set up and then the incredible cocktail hour flowers, we were blown away. Then when we saw the reception center, it was beyond our expectations, I cannot even describe how beautiful it was!!!!! From the boutonnieres to the mother’s wrist corsages everything was sheer perfection! Meghan went above and beyond on every level. Meghan and the team created a stunning bridal bouquet that I will never forget! I had given her some inspo pics and also some ideas about what I wanted and she really executed perfectly! I got so many compliments and all the arrangements I chose looked stunning!

Bluegrass Chic created more STUNNING florals for my wedding back in December than I could have ever imagined. However, when it comes to my experience, there were several things I would have done differently knowing what I know now: particularly regarding my bridal bouquet. Every meeting with Bluegrass Chic was fun, professional, and seemingly on the same page. I think florals are one of the hardest vendors for everyone because most people don't know names of flowers, average costs of florals, or how to communicate what we want in a design. I told Michelle my goal was not to rely on photos alone, but to collaborate with an artist toward's an overall common vision. Michelle was responsive and highly communicative, and her proposals matched up well to our conversations, but there were still stark differences between what was on paper and what translated to our wedding in person. I think this came down to miscommunication on my part and not wanting to be an overbearing bride, as I had full faith in the floral team. But, I realize now I should've been more clear on my wishes (in writing) and double-checked with them throughout the process. 1. BRIDAL BOUQUET - mine and my bridesmaids' bouquets were beautiful, unique, and timeless. However, they were not what I asked for, and I was disappointed. For this particular element, my bouquet, I did actually want to replicate my inspo photo, and the results were far from it. I was very adamant of excluding too much of anything that could heighten my husband's allergies, so maybe that was the issue. However, every conversation regarding the bouquet was mutual: "We basically want this photo, right?" "Yes!" And then the results, while beautiful, were completely different. One of the only flowers I knew by name was "anemone," and there were maybe 3 total in my bouquet when I thought I emphasized I wanted it to be the focal flower. Again, this was probably miscommunication on my part, and I should've double-checked. I also emphasized prioritizing greenery and using baby's breath as an accent, but baby's breath ended up dominating most of my wedding florals. Final thoughts: I wish I had asked and insisted on some sort of mock-up to approve, because although it was a beautiful arrangement, unfortunately my initial *initial* reaction was masked disappointment. 2. I felt that most of our conversations emphasized a collaborative process towards a unique vision, but the results of most of my wedding florals was a carbon-copy of any inspo photos I sent (except for the bouquet) when I specified wanting several changes. There several large arrangements with long-stemmed roses sitting in large puffs of baby's breath, and I asked to replace the baby's breath with greenery. However, they were created exactly like the photos and included none of the changes. Final thoughts: the arrangements were all STUNNING, but exact replicas of my inspo photos instead of the creative changes we discussed in our meetings. 3. Ultimately I would recommend Bluegrass. They were always kind and professional, but overall they had the most (and probably only) discrepancies out of any of my wedding vendors. I largely blame my own communication skills, but, there was also one of the company's biggest weddings of the year on the same day as mine, and I can't help but feel that I was not prioritized. Overall, my wedding was BEAUTIFUL and the florals were grander than I ever imagined, just not all of them were exactly what I asked for.

Wow! I have nothing to say except the most amazing things about Blugrass Chic! From our very first meeting, Meghan and the team took incredible care in making sure our florals were exactly what we wanted. The team at Bluegrass made the whole process so seamless, and took my very chaotic vision and brought it to life. Anytime I had a question, or another idea I wanted to implement, the Bluegrass Chic Team was so quick to respond with a kind and knowledgeable answer. Multiple months after my wedding, I am still getting comments regularly about how stunning the florals were. I cannot recommend Bluegrass Chic enough!!

So much to say about Bluegrass Chic! We coordinated with Meghan for most of our correspondence, and we never had to wait to hear back! We had only the vaguest ideas of what we wanted for our flowers, and gave the best descriptions we could, and Bluegrass turned it into reality! They were super knowledgeable and we're able to work with us to shape our vision. Day of, they were there on time and our flowers were more beautiful than we could have ever thought! The colors were perfect, the bridesmaids bouquets and bridal bouquet all turned out beautiful. The day-of team did an amazing job and we really have no notes for them! Definitely have them on your vendor team!

As a bride, it can be overwhelming as to the different choices, budget and vision. And, I appreciated that Michelle had me first add to a vision board and then set up a call. She was very helpful in customizing my vision and I loved her sense of organization and approach to everything. Meghan Fuerst with Bluegrass Chic was fantastic. She was quick to respond to all my questions and was very easy to talk to during our phone sessions. They were on time and all the flowers looked beautiful.

We had no idea what we were doing when planning our wedding but had a general idea of colors and the vibe we were hoping for. We primarily worked with Meaghan and she really brought everything to life even before the big day. She understood exactly what we wanted even before we did. It was really helpful that our proposal had pictures of everything we discussed so we could use the pictures to plan other details of the wedding. The flowers Meaghan chose were perfect and the bouquet design was stunning. I remember when they walked in the ready room with my flowers I was so stressed and seeing the bouquet was calming because it was just so beautiful.

BLUEGRASSCHIC is simply the best!! I love their efficiency and they have an online portal where you can see their schedule and book a meeting. The entire process was so simple, and I value that more than anything because both my husband and I work demanding jobs, we had to make the most of our free time for planning. I reached out to many other floral companies, and I got delayed replies or no replies and if I am being honest, it could have been that I was not within the budgets they work with. BLUEGRASSCHIC was just the perfect choice for my husband and I, we loved working with Meghan. She was honest and gave us realistic expectations for our budget and she gave us recommendations to move things around so we could get all our immediate floral needs. I gave Meghan my colors and an example of the look I was going for, and the most impressive part of it was that BLUEGRASSCHIC simply nailed it and all that to say all our meetings were online and they still read my mind and surpassed my expectations. I never asked for my table bases to be gold, but they added that touch and it just made everything fit in. My arch was beautiful, and all the center pieces were beautiful along with my bouquet. The best part was what BLUEGRASSCHIC made my DIY signage and lanterns look like, no one would have ever believed that my fiancé and I created those signs and painted our lanterns. We chose Bluegrass Chic through our venue's "All Inclusive Package." We started to communicate with them right after signing the contract. Their online form was easy to fill out and helped us flesh out ideas for how we wanted to decorate our wedding. Bluegrass reached out to us prior to the ceremony to confirm all the flowers and arrangements we wanted. The day of ceremony, they arrived early and set up our table arrangements, bouquets, boutonniere, and corsages. The flowers were incredibly fresh and vibrant. My bridal bouquet and Groom’s boutonniere were very colorful, unique, and stand out in photos. All the other bouquets and table arrangements lined up with what we discussed with Bluegrass in our initial quote. I was absolutely floored by the service that Bluegrass Chic did for my wedding! Through the entire planning process they kept in touch and even purchased new lanterns to cater to the look I was hoping for! Michelle and her team at Bluegrass Chic did an amazing job for our daughter's wedding and reception located at The Capen House and Polasek Sculpture Garden in Winter Park. The flowers were so lovely and Michelle went above and beyond and so many of our guest complimented us on how lovely all the florals were! Michelle also not only handled the florals but the linens, candle holders and other tablescape items that made the reception tables look so beautiful. Our daughter really wanted to have an Infinity Arch with florals attached to it for her and her fiancé to stand in front of to take their vows. Michelle had an arch made since she did not have one and the flowers were just gorgeous as they gently came down on either side of the arch. Michelle and her team also added greens to the ceiling of the clear tent above the dance floor which looked stunning. Thank you again Michelle and we will definitely use you again!

Michelle and her team were so helpful from the get go..I had no idea where to start and they helped me build my dream just through pintrest boards! All of the bouquets, center pieces, ceremony, etc. we’re PERFECT!!! I wish I had a picture of my face when I first saw the floral because I was in absolutely awe. They truly turned my pintrest dream into a reality.

Meghan was amazing! She was there to answer all my crazy questions and emails and helped put together my vision so it was cohesive. Our flowers looked absolutely amazing. Meghan would even text me pictures of the flowers as they were being put together. We also rented a few of their items including the hexagon arch, vases, etc. Everything was beautiful. They were even able to fit it in to deliver our personals to the hotel we were staying at and then the rest of the décor to the venue. They worked with our budget and I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a florist. They are the best!!

We worked with Michelle and Meghan to plan the perfect floral design for our wedding day. And that was exactly what it was – perfect! We knew that we wanted to have a balance of elegant white florals and greenery, without having too much of either one. We also wanted to make sure the ballroom had a mixture of various sized centerpieces and candles to add dimension. After (admittedly) spending way too much time on Pinterest, I had envisioned our wedding having a greenery wall for our guests’ seating assignments to be placed on, a romantic greenery garland with white roses and candles for our sweetheart table, and also a bouquet that looked as if I had picked perfectly blossomed roses straight from a garden. The Bluegrass Chic team brought our vision to life SO flawlessly! They are so easy to communicate with, they listen to what you envision and document every detail, they are so respectful and professional, and they will literally make your floral dreams come true!
