Bluegrass Imaging is a wedding videography and photography company based in Elizabethtown, KY. The documenting team strives to work with clients one-on-one, and give them a final project they can hold onto for generations. Their professional equipment, years of experience, and a keen eye for detail will make your special day unforgettable. Founder Alec Higdon-Burgess sees the film as a creative way to learn about his client's stories, and retell them through a visual medium. He knows that each couple has their own individual traits, and will work to capture their personalities throughout the video. From those final minutes spent preparing, to your guests watching your first dance, he and his team will film your heartwarming moments with care. Bluegrass Imaging can document your nuptial events in a variety of styles, including classic, dramatic, and artistic. Your final video will be professionally edited, with options for transitions, color correcting, and various cinematic effects. While they’re based in Elizabethtown, they will happily travel to venues throughout Kentucky and the surrounding states.

Where to start..
Tyler and I were hesitant on whether we wanted to invest in a video or not. Once we decided to go ahead with the video we quickly found Alec. After reaching out to him we knew he was the one that we wanted to shoot our big day...

Fast forward to the big day, Alec showed up early and got some awesome detail/drone footage. He stayed in the background throughout the day and captured all of the shots that he needed. More often than not we really didn’t even know he was there!
Post wedding we were really excited to get our footage back, we had super high expectations which wasn’t totally fair to Alec.
We got our footage back and the video EXCEEDED all of our expectations. We LOVED every bit of it, tears were shed, laughs were had and now thanks to Alec we have a video that we will be able to cherish for the rest of our life.
Thank you Alec for everything, if you’re reading this review stop looking. Don’t overthink this decision. Pick Alec and never look back. 10/10 videographer and a 10/10 person.

super easy and fast. In the end, we regretted not adding extra services. But he worked with us and offered us his "FOMO" edit last minute. Before we got our wedding videos, all I remembered was the stress and anxiety; Alec gave us back the best moments from our wedding that would have been forgotten. We are forever grateful.

I graduated from the University of Louisville in 2018 and was a member of the Track & Field team while attending.
