He checked in leading up to the big day and kept us updated as he worked on our video. All the emotions are captured and pieced together so beautifully. The end product was simply amazing. I would give Alec with Bluegrass Imaging 10 stars if I could! He was wonderful to work with from the beginning to end. Videography was important to me and so he was the first vendor I booked. He went above and beyond even leading up the wedding checking in to see if we needed anything and provided wonderful recommendations for other vendors. The day of the wedding he was so much fun to work with. I have no words for the film he created of our wedding day. Every single moment and emotion was captured beautifully and we are so grateful to have this film to look back on forever. His talent and passion are evident in his work and I can’t recommend him enough!!

Hiring Alec as my videographer was one of the best decisions I made for my entire wedding! He made the process so easy (and fun!) from start to finish. I had no idea what I was doing trying to plan a wedding and coordinate with different vendors, and Alec took so much of that stress off me and got in touch with my photographer himself to get a game plan for the wedding day, which I cannot tell you how much I appreciated! He felt like an old friend from the first day I spoke with him and, even though we had never even met in person until the morning of my wedding, felt like part of my wedding party from the moment he arrived. He even somehow managed to persuade my very introverted husband to read a private letter written to me on camera to make our video even more special. If you have the opportunity to hire Bluegrass Imaging for your wedding go ahead and LOCK HIM DOWN! No need to look any further! :)
Alec was incredibly professional and great to work with. He made us feel so comfortable and act ourselves in front of the camera. My husband and I ran out of time to read our letters on the wedding day, so Alec scheduled some time to meet up with us so we could mic up to read the letters so they could be included in the video.

From the moment my husband and I had our first consultation with Alec, his level of professionalism and passion in this industry is unmatched! Alec was amazing to work with! In the beginning of planning, I wasn’t sure if I wanted a videographer. I found Alec on The Knot and simply reached out to learn more because I loved his bio and pieces on his website! After reaching out, Alec talked me through the process and even made a specialized plan just for my wedding! Leading up to the wedding, he was always easy to get in contacted with, and listened to my opinions as well! Day of the wedding, Alec was on top of every aspect of it! From our church service to the reception! He worked well with our other vendors, especially our photographer. We just received our video back, and I was speechless. My husband and I sat down to watch it together and we were crying. Alec was able to capture exactly the idea I wanted from my wedding! I would recommend him to everyone!! Bluegrass Imaging far surpassed our expectations! We initially didn’t feel like we needed a videographer, but when COVID hit and we knew a lot of family couldn’t come to the wedding we knew we needed to find someone amazing. Our final videos are going to help those family members who missed the wedding feel like they are getting to experience the ceremony and celebrations firsthand. My husband and I originally went with the base package, but ended up adding on the FOMO Edit so we could relive our entire day for years to come! Where to start..
Tyler and I were hesitant on whether we wanted to invest in a video or not. Once we decided to go ahead with the video we quickly found Alec. After reaching out to him we knew he was the one that we wanted to shoot our big day.
Fast forward to the big day, Alec showed up early and got some awesome detail/drone footage. He stayed in the background throughout the day and captured all of the shots that he needed. More often than not we really didn’t even know he was there!
Post wedding we were really excited to get our footage back, we had super high expectations which wasn’t totally fair to Alec.
We got our footage back and the video EXCEEDED all of our expectations. We LOVED every bit of it, tears were shed, laughs were had and now thanks to Alec we have a video that we will be able to cherish for the rest of our life.
Thank you Alec for everything, if you’re reading this review stop looking. Don’t overthink this decision. Pick Alec and never look back. 10/10 videographer and a 10/10 person.
Initially, we did not consider or want videography for our wedding. 3 or so months before our wedding, we changed our minds and decided to find something minimal just incase. Alec delivered more than we could have imagined. He made the process super easy and fast. In the end, we regretted not adding extra services. But he worked with us and offered us his "FOMO" edit last minute. Before we got our wedding videos, all I remembered was the stress and anxiety; Alec gave us back the best moments from our wedding that would have been forgotten. We are forever grateful.
