We had a crazy fun group of guests and she was able to memorialize everything from our intimate moments to our wild moments. live in Arizona and we were having a destination wedding in Lake Tahoe. For those of you having or have had a destination wedding, it's like flying blind. I didn't know of any vendors much less how to pick a photographer- one of the MOST, if not the most important part of a wedding! I started by googling and looking through websites. When I came across Jo's site, I immediately felt a connection with her work. Above all, her photos are gorgeous of course, but it's her style that really stuck out to me. She captures the experience and the moments of what she's shooting. Nothing feels overly posed or staged. Her work conveys feelings and emotions- which is exactly what I was looking for! We had a phone consultation from there, and right of the bat, I felt like I was talking to an old friend. Jo's personality is fabulous. She's excited and loves her job, and you can feel that from her. She immediately wanted to know our engagement story and I even sent her pictures after we hung up because she truly wanted to share in the experience. Fast forward to the day of... Now I am probably as relaxed and laidback as they come. I was not going to be a stressed out bride... WRONG!! A disastrous experience with our hair & makeup vendor turned me & my bridesmaids into complete stress cases!! We were supposed to take most of our photos an hour and a half before the ceremony, but because we needed that time to redo our hair & makeup, we couldn't do it. I was a complete wreck and as unpleasant as they come lol. Jo on the otherhand, didn't miss a beat. She didn't let my mood affect hers and she made me realize that we were going to get all the pictures I wanted and to stop worrying about that part. And she was absolutely right. She figured out a way to make it work and we have every picture we could possibly want- And let me tell you, they are STUNNING. I truly was shocked when I got them back from her. They are gorgeous- Truly more so than I could've hoped for. When all is said and done, your photos are what you are left with after the wedding. Don't forget that, I can't stress it enough. You need beautiful photos that captured your day. Pick a photographer that will deliver that for you. That's what Jo did for me and I'll be forever grateful. Thank you Jo!!

a friend. After seeing her BEAUTIFUL pictures on the website, I knew I would love to have wedding pictures like that! However, I was worried about whether or not I would be able to afford such amazing pictures. I decided to give her a call and Immediately, I knew I was going to hire her. She was incredibly sweet, and very accommodating with every single request/worry/concern that I had. She worked around my budget completely and we worked out a perfect plan in order to get her and her assistant to my wedding for 8 hours! Completely affordable and fair price too - dream come true. Hiring a photographer is sometimes a scary thing - especially for a wedding, because you want everything to go smoothly. Without ever meeting in person until the big day, Jo made sure everything was perfect. I was able to pay her over the phone - 2 easy payments, before the wedding. She had a very professional website questionnaire available so she could easily obtain all the answers she needed for the day (address of the venue, time to show up, picture lists, etc) And she was totally friendly, and wonderful the entire time! When she showed up on my wedding day, her and her assistant got to work immediately shooting all my little details, venue and ceremony shots. She was so professional and knew exactly what to do and what pictures to take. I never had to worry about anything, she just did it! Its SO important to have someone who knows what they are doing, because that is the last thing you want to worry about on your big day. My wedding pictures turned out AMAZING. I mean they were absolutely stunning. It was so hard to choose my favorites! I honestly can say there weren't any pictures I didn't like. How often can you say that about pictures of yourself?! Never! I just loved her style, her eye for detail.. everything. Truly awesome photography. She captured the emotions of the day completely... Pictures of my parents, grandparents, family and of course my new husband... priceless. AND Jo had my pictures BACK to me the day BEFORE my honeymoon! We left 6 days after our wedding. My husband and I got to sit on the balcony at our condo on the beach in Hawaii, and look through ALL of our wedding pictures! Truly awesome. So I had digital images almost immediately and was able to download and print any picture that I wanted. Then about 3 weeks later, I received the flash drive with over 1000 pictures on it. She even put the flash drive in a beautiful, custom box with our wedding picture printed on the cover... it was so special and neat to receive the images that way. I cant say enough good things about Jo Clark and Bluella Photography. They made my day extra special, captured every priceless moment and made me feel comfortable the entire time. One of the best decisions I made for my wedding.
