We used Blueprint Events planning services for our wedding in March 2015. We had 3 wedding events, a Pakistani mendhi, American wedding ceremony, and a fusion reception.

background to us as a couple, we are a mixed/integrated couple that wanted a Italian/American/Pakistani wedding that had both touches of traditional and contemporary elements. Our wedding was in a small town outside of Austin, TX (Marble Falls) on a gorgeous ranch!
We initially started with the planning services with Satori (she is wonderful!) but ended up using other services through the company as well, linens, flowers, decor, etc because they a great service value price point.
My favorite things about Satori/BluePrint:
- Her high energy level, positive attitude, and creative thinking! She really took time to get to know me as a person and us as a couple when she recommended ideas for the wedding. It felt very personal, like she was my friend of many years.
- She is resourceful and honest, she appreciates your hard earn money and helps put every penny to work! She will tell you where its worth to put the extra money, extra time and extra energy in your wedding and on the flip side where you can get away with cheaper alternatives.
- She has the logistics down! She thinks of all the details, is organized, and makes a wonderful agenda for your bridal party, vendors, families to follow.
- She is great with people! Every family has a multitude of personalities and needs—she was able to navigate and communicate with everyone ☺
- She always offered services through blueprint for decors, flowers, etc but ALWAYS gave me quotes for other companies as well. It was important to me to always compare market prices.
- My family has several creative people (especially my sister and mother-in-law) who were eager to help make items for the wedding. She really encouraged them to get involved and helped in whatever way she could.
- Her contingency plans are amazing! All along we had a 10-12% chance of light rain then the week of the wedding, it changed to 95% thunderstorm! She basically planned an ENTIRE new wedding in that week for us! We already had family in town and were pretty limited on free time. She knew us so well at this point that she knew exactly what we would like and not like. Our indoor reception ended up being GORGEOUS!
Two things that really stood out to me when I first met her:
- She was always accommodating to my schedule. She would do late night calls with me, meet me in Austin or Houston to help me minimize how much time I had to take off of work for wedding planning.
- Most wedding related businesses really push the “this wedding is the most important thing in your life” model, which in a way is great to see such passion in people who are in the business. Quite frankly, for me though, I entirely disagree. Weddings are important, they are meaningful, but they aren’t the MOST of anything. I appreciated that Satori was very passionate about what she did but understood how I felt about weddings and respected it. I never felt pushed into decisions.
Ultimately, our 3 day wedding went amazing! Everyone was raving about beautiful everything was, how thoughtful and personality filled our wedding was, and how much fun and stress-free it felt! We are very happy we decided to have a planner and chose BluePrints/Satori!

t the Bridal Extravaganza and booked her right away. Even though we only decided on the "day of" service, Satori went above and beyond her her duties! She was always on top of things, quick with her responses and willing to help with whatever was asked. Both, Satori and Alex made us feel like our wedding was their priority. They were both honest, straight forward, professional and friendly. Being a control freak, it was difficult handing over all of the responsibilities and follow-up that was required. Finally, I left the coordinating to these lovely and I was so thankful I did. On the day of the wedding, I felt at ease knowing that they were behind the scene, in control of the details and everything felt seamless. My husband and I were very impressed with their services. We even met up after the wedding/honeymoon bc they were so excited to hear how things were going with the two of us, post marriage! I would recommend Blueprint Events, hands down!!

They made everyone feel welcome, they explained to guests the different traditions, accommodated our parents requests.
I don't thing anyone else besides them really understands what takes place when 2 different cultures met.

pected it. I had an eco-friendly wedding and it was amazing how the blueprint girls were so creative at so many innovative ideas that matched perfectly with my style. The decoration was impeccable, the food that they helped me choose was not only healthy as I wanted, but also exquisite!! I am a very organized person, and I think this is why my personality matched so much with Satori. She was very strict with schedules, always arrived at time and on the main day, all the activities that I wanted to have were held at the exact time I wanted them to be. I cannot be happier with the outcome. My guests had an excellent time and my husband and I were very happy to see that. I definitely recommend the blue print events for any wedding. They have good taste, they give a great advice to allow their customer figure out what they want and most importantly, they were always very aware of what we needed. We had a mix wedding my family is from India and my sister's fiancée is American (Catholic). We were looking for someone that had the experience and knowledge in both religions and Tradition’s and we totally found it!
Don’t be fooled by the name Blueprint they do not only cater to the traditional American Bride the owner is half Indian too and she has lived in several different countries, I could see how her knowledge and great ideas came together based on the culture exposure she has.
She made both traditions part of the ceremony and the decor she communicated with all of our guests since she speaks a couple of languages. I just wanted to say I was very impressed with her service, ideas and attention to detail. I just recently got engaged and she will be definitely helping me in my own celebration

I actually checked a couple of planners in Austin but they were overpriced and have million excuses to be able to accommodate my needs. Her experience and honesty helped me through this, it was not easy to plan a long distance wedding. She help me to select my venue, negotiate contracts (trust me I usually do not trust anybody) most of the planners I talked to ask for a referral fee or something like that to be added up to the final bill. You can imagine my frustration.
She made sure we both were on the same page allowing No room for mistakes...I could go on and on but I really just want you to know her customer service and dedication is fantastic and I could never dreamed or a better wedding than what I had, It was like opening gifts on Christmas day, she had several surprises for us through the night.

from other wedding planners is their warmth and the way they support you in everything you need, regardless if that is part of their services. They are also very resourceful when the budget is getting a little tight.

Satori was courteous and very easy to speak with, she worked with us and did more than what was expected. We booked her for day of coordination but she end up helping us with a lot...
