the entire day. I got so many compliments on how perfect the venue was laid out. It was a beautiful sunny day. The inside was a perfect temperature. The decor looked amazing with the barn. The outside was stunning and relaxing. I don’t want to forget to mention how perfect the bridal and grooms suite were. Everything worked out so amazing but it wouldn’t have been such a perfect day without Kelly going above and beyond.

She made sure during the whole planning process to be by our sides. If you need to speak to her, she’s right there for you. On our wedding day she made sure everything ran smoothly. I cannot think of one thing that went wrong. She did a fabulous job ensuring everything was set up properly with the vendors. Highly recommend!

The bridal suite was very la eggs and accommodating for the hair and makeup team as well as all the bridesmaids, mothers, and the bride. Kelly and her team work like a well-oiled machine - everything on our wedding night ran very smoothly, thanks to Kelly and her team following closely along to our timeline of the day and paying attention to all the details. It was a near flawless night, and it was the most unforgettable night of our lives. Everything was mostly packed up for us on Sunday as well, making our clean up quick and efficient. We would highly recommend Bluestem Farm for any wedding ceremony/reception in the northern IL/southeastern WI areas.

Kelly and her team went above and beyond, and I don’t think I will ever get over how perfect the day was. Bluestem is a beautiful venue to get married and the staff made our dream come true. elly made everything flow seamlessly. Throughout the whole planning process Kelly made sure we stayed on track especially since she was our day of coordinator. She accommodated any and everything we could throw her way. The venue itself was flawless. Although it rain and outing day, and we were disappointed we cannot get married outside. Kelly made sure to, make it look just as gorgeous inside the barn inside. The bridal suit was perfect for getting text with my bridesmaids, mom and even my 4 month old baby was able to nap peacefully in the bridal suite while we were busy taking pictures. There was also a groomsman quarters that the guys absolutely loved. The inside/outside style of the venue was perfect for a summer day and after the rain cleared up our guests were able to enjoy the fire pit area and mingle outside. Overall I would 100% recommend having your wedding at Bluestem. It is such a beautiful venue and I can’t imagine not having Kelly on our wedding day. She made everything go so smoothly and we couldn’t be more grateful.

things will work for the day of. We ended up putting our downpayment later that day for our wedding day. Kelly was really flexible. She let us do a payment plan which made our wedding so much more possible. There was even a month that I was a couple days late on the money getting to her because of the mail and all that, but I communicated it all to Kelly and she was very understanding. We had an option to do a rehearsal at the venue but it was the Thursday before the wedding. Although this was a nice option for us, we already planned our rehearsal dinner for the Friday before the wedding. I know in 2024 it will be different as when you book the venue, it will be for the entire weekend instead of just the day. The day of the wedding was perfect! Kelly was there all day with us. She was around helping us make the venue into our dream venue. We rented the China and she placed them all on the tables while we were getting ready. Our wedding day was really windy, windier than expected. Kelly helped us figure out how we will have our ceremony decor outside without it being blown away or broken! I cannot recommend this venue enough!

Every question we had in the 14 months of planning was answered promptly and thoroughly. Kelly was also my day of coordinator and it all ran so smoothly. The venue is STUNNING and incredibly clean but the "family" feeling you get from Kelly and her workers just enhances the experience. There are a ton of add ons, suggested vendors, and decor options that make planning a wedding almost effortless. I would 100% recommend Bluestem and wish I could relive my day here over and over again.

She was on top of everything throughout our entire experience from meeting with her during the tour to asking questions along the way and during the entire wedding, she was there helping every step of the way. This venue is very accommodating and has back up plans just in case weather/plans go astray. We had our ceramony out in their field, cocktail hour in the lower region of the farm and reception upstairs - it was a dream, everyone was so comfortable and relaxed and we loved every minute of it. We 100% recommend the Bluestem Farm & Events!

Having grown up in Hebron, it was special to have been able to get married in my hometown but it was equally as special to have gotten married at such a beautiful venue.

There are two buildings on the property, one for the bride's quarters and one for the groom's. They had a great time getting ready with their attendants. You can rent a bag game or a vintage bowling game. There's a firepit on the patio and a dart board in the groom's quarters. It just has anything you need for a fun day and night. Kelly insures that everything runs smoothly, she made our wedding a great success. I highly recommend Bluestem, it's amazing!

venue is absolutely beautiful. Our wedding was moved inside due to weather and it still was perfect. The entire premise is very clean and elegant looking. I highly recommend this venue. I still have family and friends talking about the barn and how this is the nicest venue they have been apart of.

able to delay our intimate wedding day due to the pandemic to July 2020 since the owner, Kelly, graciously opened up more dates. Kelly also let us split our time between two dates so that we could have our small ceremony in May and also a reception at a future date so that all of our guests could have the option to attend. We had to switch the reception date twice as well- originally it was planned for September 2020, but since the pandemic was not slowing at that point, we delayed the reception again to May 2021. Our wedding testimony just shows how flexible Kelly is and how accommodating she is. Kelly is also very responsive and helpful via email. Sometimes I felt like I had needy requests, but Kelly made them seem like no problem and was so patient. On the day of our events at Bluestem, Kelly was hands-on and making sure everything went smoothly. She helped us problem solve as well. The grounds are just beautiful, and our guests were constantly complementing the venue. Overall, we could not be more grateful for our choice to host our event at Bluestem. We have nothing but good things to say about our experience!

a rustic touch to it. It doesn't feel like you're in a barn on the inside and I loved that it was different than the typical hotel wedding space. We brought in our own desserts and had a dessert table and candy bar and we were able to set up and decorate however we wanted. The space is available for the entire weekend so we set up Friday prior to our rehearsal. It was also great the day of only having our guests at the property. It made the day even more intimate with only close family and friends there and not worrying about others crashing the wedding. I loved that we were able to add our personal touches to the venue and really make it our wedding. Kelly was amazing to work with and so flexible. We had to find a new venue in such a short amount of time (6 weeks prior to the event) and live in Las Vegas. Kelly was so accommodating as we had family members view the space for us and she was available to answer all of our answers quickly. I would recommend Bluestem to any couple looking for a space that you can really make yours and the opportunity to work with amazing owners!

was it worth the wait! Every expectation we had for the day was beyond what we envisioned. The venue is beautiful, from the exterior of the barn, bar area, grounds, ceremony space, the bride/grooms suites, and the bathrooms. My wife would only get married in a barn with real bathrooms (It's harder to find than you'd think). Getting married in 2020 meant navigating covid while planning our wedding. Kelly was quick to keep us updated with the latest guidelines we'd have to follow to have our wedding. She offered to put up tables outside for our guests to ensure social distancing and to comfort our guest accommodations for dinner. We even set up extra seating for our ceremony to allow our guests to spread out during the ceremony. Bluestem is family owned and operated and it shows! I highly recommend getting married here. If you're not planning a wedding I hope you get the privilege of attending a wedding here. It's a venue you don't want to miss!
