Every member of this lively band was incredibly talented. They seemed to have the perfect knack for both of our tastes in music, as well as tunes that got the guests dancing. Every guest mentioned the band as being one of the biggest highlights of our wedding.
The band, particularly Jeff, was also very accommodating and flexible with our flowing schedule. For example, I wanted to change into a reception dress in between first dances- they truly helped us pull it off!

organized portal where all choices can be made, invoices paid, and song preferences listed. Jeff was always so friendly, excited, and rooting for us as we planned our big day. While we initially booked them just for our reception, it was easy to later choose to add on ceremony and cocktail hour musicians. Our guitarist for our ceremony played beautifully. He learned the specific songs we requested for walking down the aisle and processing out. The jazz trio during cocktail hour was a hit! The band truly made the night so lively, engaging, fun, and amazing! They are truly talented musicians that put their all into their performance. Our guests absolutely raved about the band and said it was one of the most fun weddings they've attended (BWK gets the credit for that!) One thing that surprised me was the band's ability to emcee all of the details on top of playing beautiful music. From announcing first dances and special personal things we asked them to make time for, BWK delivered on every single detail. There were even things we had asked them to do during the planning stages that I had forgotten about and sure enough, Jeff and the band had every detail covered. We were endlessly impressed. If you want a night where no one leaves the dance floor and everyone is overjoyed with the music, hire Bluewater Kings!

They are one of the most professional companies I have ever worked with. I initially booked another band for my wedding and 3 weeks prior to the date, I found out my original band was no longer performing together. Completely stressed out, I reached out to Amy and she immediately put me at ease. She will walk you through the process step by step and set up an account, where you can put all your details and requests. Despite the limited time, prior to the actual day, the band was able to learn my unique requested songs and they sounded amazing playing them. There was not a request that I asked for that the company was not able to deliver on.
We truly had the best time at the wedding! They had the dance floor packed the entire evening. We requested R&B/Soul, Hip-Hop, & Motown, but I’m sure this group would sound good playing any genre. The two vocalists for our event were AMY and BRANDON. Both have beautiful voices, and the rest of the band is SO talented. Everyone was asking us who this band was and asking for their contact info. This band from beginning to end did not disappoint! All throughout the night they continued to take it to the next level.
As stressful as it was, finding out I didn't have a band at 3 weeks prior to the wedding. It was a blessing in disguise because we got to party with BLUEWATER KINGS! I will definitely be looking for this band for whatever I do in the future that requires musicians. I continue to get people requesting the bands information, so if you are interested, I would not wait…………. HIRE THEM TODAY!!!

ell! We had our wedding reception at the beautiful, Sapphire Creek in Chagrin Falls, OH. The trio during cocktail hour sounded awesome and was a great addition to have while we welcomed guests, drank/had appetizers. Von was our MC and she was absolutely fantastic. Amazing energy and very helpful with coordinating timing of everything! We had a 7 piece band for our dance floor and wow, it was SO MUCH FUN! Our guests had raving things to say about the sound/energy of the band. We brought out a limbo stick, glow sticks and LED light glasses and it brought the energy up even more. Stop your band search right now, hire the BWK before it's too late, and move on with the rest of the wedding planning.
Reasons to NOT hire BWK:
- afraid your friends and family...
will hate you because you won't shut up about how amazing your wedding band was
- you hate having fun
- great musicians playing great music bother you
- you're getting hip replacement surgery
- Concerned the venue doesn't comply with local fire codes as the dance floor might catch on fire
From the minute we inquired about availability for our wedding date to the final song of the wedding they were incredible. Planning is super easy and transparent. Amy, the lead singer and primary point of contact, is responsive, helpful, and professional. The band is INCREDIBLE - dance floor was jam packed from the first to the last song. Amy worked with us prior to the wedding to get a sense of music we wanted/liked and absolutely nailed it. We also used the keyboard and violin players for the ceremony and it was incredible. If you're afraid your boys will see you cry do NOT hire them for the Ceremony - 100% chance you lose your shit. Jazz trio for the cocktail hour also killed it!
Amy and the band were also incredibly helpful in guiding the timeline of the night when things inevitably fell a little out of whack.
It was the best day of our lives and a huge part of that was because of the BWK - so stop thinking about it and hire BWK!!

BWK was one of the BEST parts of our wedding!! We hired a guitarist for the cocktail hour and a 10 piece band for the reception and we were BLOWN AWAY! The band had amazing energy....
They were able to learn and play our first dance song which was so special. They got the crowd moving and dancing the whole time from 8pm until 11:30pm. My husband and I even went on stage twice to dance and then to sing the last song with the band and they were so supportive and fun about it! Everyone was raving about the band and the emcee and we couldn’t be happier we hired BWK. Amy was also very helpful with all of my many questions.

We were able to see them play a 45-min set in-person and WOW. They show you what a 5 all the way up to a 12 piece band sounds like. We chose 7-piece and it was the hit of our wedding. They played 70s to today's hits, as well as, had a DJ to play during band breaks. The DJ also MCed the entire night.
Not only are they so talented, but they understand wedding planning and the industry. They had a very seamless site to add in our wedding details and music requests.

We hired a jazz trio for cocktail hour and a 7 piece band for our reception. The BWK MC made everything run seamlessly while working with our venue coordinator (we did not have a day of coordinator). They played all of our favorite songs and had a great playlist set up during their breaks. I couldn't image our wedding without them! I even gave all the band members a hug at the end (plus a tip) :). I highly recommend BWK to anyone who wants to have incredible musicians play during their wedding!

I will say that the planning process does not seem very personalized. You are doing most of the planning through a portal on the internet, while having occasional check-ins with the coordinator. The dance floor was packed from the very first song up until the closer. I would highly recommend TBWK for any special event especially your wedding day.
