Blue Water Kings made our daughter’s wedding absolutely unforgettable! They were phenomenal from start to finish. Every song was upbeat, energetic, and incredibly danceable. Their playlist spanned multiple decades and genres, so guests of every age were out on the dance floor having a great time.
The band’s energy and stage presence created such a fun, lively atmosphere all night long. They were also excellent musicians, and the lead singer was outstanding. The band communicated with us throughout the event and was professional, friendly, and easy to work with from beginning to end.
We truly couldn’t have asked for a better wedding band. If you’re looking for a talented, high-energy band that will keep your guests entertained and dancing all night, I highly recommend Blue Water Kings. They exceeded every expectation and helped make our daughter’s wedding a perfect celebration!

People immediately got up to dance. It was a perfect night. We had two vocalists and three brass, plus drums, bass, guitar and keyboard. One technical person was required for setup which was smooth. Bluewater was fabulous. We intend to use them next year.

We had a string quartet for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and they created the perfect atmosphere—elegant, romantic, and exactly what we had envisioned. Then for the reception, we had a 7-piece band and WOW. Our guests could not stop talking about how amazing the band was! The dance floor was packed the entire night and the energy was electric.
They also provided a sound tech who made sure everything ran smoothly. The microphones for our officiant and speeches were set perfectly—no awkward volume issues or feedback, which we were so grateful for.

Kevin was always willing to answer my questions on email or set up a phone call to talk through every detail. All of our guests were talking about how amazing the band was even days after our wedding. One thing I especially loved is they played classics that all generations knew the words to- everyone (not just the younger generation) was dancing all night long. . The live music everywhere was something our guests couldn't stop talking about! Kevin worked with us from start to finish. He was always happy and encouraging to jump on a call to go through every detail. The portal was super easy to use and helpful to see all my requests laid out.
The band kept everyone on the dance floor and were just high energy all night. They even allowed my talented cousin join them on his sax for a few songs!
I think having a live band makes your reception extra special and I super recommend Bluewater Kings Band!

y gracefully led the first dances and speeches and then into their main set. They played 2 sets with a 30 minute DJ section in between, which we were able to select the songs for. The setlist the band chose was perfect - they listened to every song request we had and mixed in songs that fit our vibe, and were also very careful with our 'do not play' list. They also easily accommodated a special request of 'shoutouts' to our family members before a couple of songs, which was super special for us. After our wedding, one of our guests said she 'had to be dragged off the dance floor' if that says anything about the energy they create.
The planning process with them was also quite fun - their manager was incredibly communicative throughout. We were able to see them a couple of times at showcases in Columbus to build our relationship. They also have an awesome planning page online where you can add schedule, notes, requests, and make your payment. This was way better than any of our other vendor portals and was super fun to use. It made me feel confident that all of our requests would actually be seen by the band.
Do not hesitate to book the Blue Water Kings! I would recommend them 100 times over!

Then we did a 7 piece band for the reception and our guests were on the dance floor the entire night. the right place. I was a bit nervous as we had never heard them play in person, and with covid and them being a wedding band probably wouldn't prior to our actual wedding day. I was blown away at how good they sounded throughout the entire event. We added MC services from Emily and she was on it! She made the event flow after all the other "to-dos" were done like cake cutting, speeches etc. The band itself we had a string duet for the ceremony and they played the traditional music for us - however we had complete control over what type of music we wanted them to play and specific songs for the aisle. The Jazz Trio was a huge hit for cocktail hour too. Finally, the 5 piece band for the dancing portion of the night was truly fantastic. I had been planning my wedding from another state and really only had the internet to find potential bands/live music for my wedding. Absolutely worth it if you are looking for a band. They were prompt in responses and sounded great. I even had a friend ask me for a set list of that they played as she wanted to request the same songs for her DJ to play a few weeks after my wedding. I gave creative control to the band and a few "must-plays" and they totally nailed the vibe the dance floor had!

one bit. They were wonderful at making adjustments and changes up until the last minute, and they did a great job keeping the party going at the reception despite all of the restrictions. The only negative was that it was sometimes difficult to get in contact with them. Once the event got closer, communication was significantly better, but it would sometimes take weeks for them to respond to email. Despite the communication trouble, I would still highly recommend this band for any event!!

Their rendition of "Shout" was the best I have ever seen live -- they even got my husband involved when the lead singer came out onto the dance floor! If you are looking to dance the night away, this is the band you should pick!

ime at the reception on the dance floor. The Bluewater Kings blew us, and our guests away! They were EXTREMELY easy to work with, and exceeded our expectations. We purchased the 8 piece band with MC. Our day of coordinator cancelled last minute on us that day, the band MC went above and beyond to fill her gap. We could not have been more thankful for Bluewater Kings. Many of our guests asked for their card, or texted us the next day for their name. We highly recommend them for your wedding, our dance floor was filled up until the very last song!

throughout the planning process. Phil, Isis, Theo and the rest of the band were able to take our "likes" and "dislikes" list and accommodate all of our songs as well as read the crowd. Their ability to know what the crowd was responding to in order to keep the dance floor full was great! I had so many people coming up to me throughout the night saying how amazing the band was!

st issue was we needed a bigger dance space! Molly and the whole team we’re invredible. I would recommend a band to any couple getting married because they are just so fun, but I would recommend the Bluewater Kings above the rest because they are just that good. Also, they were the most reasonably priced of the big bands in the area. Thank you Molly and the rest of the band! Our wedding was perfect thanks to you!
