s helpful, responsive, and really accommodating. We can’t say enough about how talented the musicians and singers were. They had the entire party dancing from the first note, bringing even the shyest guests out onto the dance floor for song after song. We gave them a general vibe we were looking for and they more than delivered! From oldies to pop hits and everything in between, they nailed every song they played. We will be going to see the Bluewater Kings in concert every chance we can get!

fessional and helpful. The Planning Page enabled us to choose the types of songs we wanted. The band began and ended on time. We enjoyed cocktail music during dinner. People immediately got up to dance. It was a perfect night. We had two vocalists and three brass, plus drums, bass, guitar and keyboard. One technical person was required for setup which was smooth. Bluewater was fabulous. We intend to use them next year.

and so much fun to work with. We had a string quartet for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and they created the perfect atmosphere—elegant, romantic, and exactly what we had envisioned. Then for the reception, we had a 7-piece band and WOW. Our guests could not stop talking about how amazing the band was! The dance floor was packed the entire night and the energy was electric. They also provided a sound tech who made sure everything ran smoothly. The microphones for our officiant and speeches were set perfectly—no awkward volume issues or feedback, which we were so grateful for. If you’re looking for a band that will take your event to the next level, look no further. Bluewater Kings Band exceeded our expectations in every way and helped make our wedding unforgettable!

g reception. We worked closely with Kevin, who was extremely helpful in the planning process and helped our wedding reception run smoothly. Kevin was always willing to answer my questions on email or set up a phone call to talk through every detail. All of our guests were talking about how amazing the band was even days after our wedding. One thing I especially loved is they played classics that all generations knew the words to- everyone (not just the younger generation) was dancing all night long. We would recommend BWK band to anyone and everyone!

. The live music everywhere was something our guests couldn't stop talking about! Kevin worked with us from start to finish. He was always happy and encouraging to jump on a call to go through every detail. The portal was super easy to use and helpful to see all my requests laid out. The band kept everyone on the dance floor and were just high energy all night. They even allowed my talented cousin join them on his sax for a few songs! I think having a live band makes your reception extra special and I super recommend Bluewater Kings Band!

ht away. First and foremost, their musical talent was beyond impressive. The band members were not only skilled musicians but also great entertainers. They effortlessly engaged with the audience, creating an electric atmosphere that kept the energy high throughout the evening. Their versatile repertoire was another highlight. They played a wide variety of songs that catered to all generations, ensuring that everyone in attendance had a favorite tune to groove to. Whether it was classic hits or the latest chart-toppers, they nailed every performance with perfection. Furthermore, the band's professionalism was commendable. They were punctual, well-prepared, and seamlessly coordinated with the event planner, ensuring a smooth flow of the entire program. Their positive and friendly demeanor made them a joy to work with, and they accommodated our special requests with enthusiasm. The sound quality was exceptional, and they struck the perfect balance between volume and ambiance, allowing guests to enjoy conversations while also enjoying the music. Not only did they shine during the reception, but they also played beautiful background music during the cocktail hour, setting a delightful mood for our guests as they mingled. We received countless compliments from our guests about the band, with many saying it was the best live performance they've ever experienced at a wedding. They truly added an extra layer of magic to our special day. If you're looking for a wedding band that will leave your guests in awe and create unforgettable memories, look no further. We wholeheartedly recommend this band, and we are grateful for their incredible contribution to making our wedding day the perfect celebration that it was. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We recently had the 7 piece band from Blue Water Kings for 175 guests. It was a truly incredible performance all night! Phil (also the MC) and Stephanie were lead singers, and the...

y gracefully led the first dances and speeches and then into their main set. They played 2 sets with a 30 minute DJ section in between, which we were able to select the songs for. The setlist the band chose was perfect - they listened to every song request we had and mixed in songs that fit our vibe, and were also very careful with our 'do not play' list. They also easily accommodated a special request of 'shoutouts' to our family members before a couple of songs, which was super special for us. After our wedding, one of our guests said she 'had to be dragged off the dance floor' if that says anything about the energy they create. The planning process with them was also quite fun - their manager was incredibly communicative throughout. We were able to see them a couple of times at showcases in Columbus to build our relationship. They also have an awesome planning page online where you can add schedule, notes, requests, and make your payment. This was way better than any of our other vendor portals and was super fun to use. It made me feel confident that all of our requests would actually be seen by the band. Do not hesitate to book the Blue Water Kings! I would recommend them 100 times over!

We booked a string trio for the ceremony through Blue Water Kings band, and that was honestly one of my favorite parts of the day, they were incredible! We provided them with songs we wanted played, and they did a great job keeping the vibe consistent and fun! Even on breaks the DJed songs were exactly what we were looking for and made it so that no one sat down all night! Honestly cannot say enough good things, thank you!!

I was not giving up on having a live band at my wedding instead of a DJ. I know they are more $$ but after finding the Blue Water Kings I have no doubts that my money was spent in ...

the right place. I was a bit nervous as we had never heard them play in person, and with covid and them being a wedding band probably wouldn't prior to our actual wedding day. I was blown away at how good they sounded throughout the entire event. We added MC services from Emily and she was on it! She made the event flow after all the other "to-dos" were done like cake cutting, speeches etc. The band itself we had a string duet for the ceremony and they played the traditional music for us - however we had complete control over what type of music we wanted them to play and specific songs for the aisle. The Jazz Trio was a huge hit for cocktail hour too. Finally, the 5 piece band for the dancing portion of the night was truly fantastic. I had been planning my wedding from another state and really only had the internet to find potential bands/live music for my wedding. Absolutely worth it if you are looking for a band. They were prompt in responses and sounded great. I even had a friend ask me for a set list of that they played as she wanted to request the same songs for her DJ to play a few weeks after my wedding. I gave creative control to the band and a few "must-plays" and they totally nailed the vibe the dance floor had!

Michelle M

We loved this band! The players and singers sounded amazing. Great energy and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long.

Bluewater Kings Band was amazing!! We had our wedding during COVID which complicated things because we weren't allowed to have dancing, but that did not stop or slow down the band ...

one bit. They were wonderful at making adjustments and changes up until the last minute, and they did a great job keeping the party going at the reception despite all of the restrictions. The only negative was that it was sometimes difficult to get in contact with them. Once the event got closer, communication was significantly better, but it would sometimes take weeks for them to respond to email. Despite the communication trouble, I would still highly recommend this band for any event!!

t decision more than worth it. They are professional, talented, and over-all contributed to what amounted to a wonderful reception. One fear I had going into choosing live music was that the band would be cheesy and awkward, and it would generally detract the night's experience. In short, if you're considering live music and share those fears, you can have confidence that Bluewater Kings will be and do none of those things. Thank you guys for being such a wonderful contribution to our reception!

we first had a strings trio perform at the ceremony and they did an amazing job. It was exactly how I had hoped it would sound! During the reception, the dance floor was not only packed, it was overflowing into the area by the tables. ime at the reception on the dance floor. The Bluewater Kings blew us, and our guests away! They were EXTREMELY easy to work with, and exceeded our expectations. We purchased the 8 piece band with MC. Many of our guests asked for their card, or texted us the next day for their name. We highly recommend them for your wedding, our dance floor was filled up until the very last song!
