They handled our cocktail hour, reception music, and emcee, and they kept the entire evening flowing seamlessly from start to finish. If I had to choose only one vendor for my wedding, it would 110% be Bluewater Kings Band. They absolutely made our wedding day! From the start, they were extremely organized and communicative. They ensured every little detail was checked and prepared. During the day of, they were so well organized with their set up and so friendly. We had them do our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and they blew me away at every event. The ceremony pianist played so beautifully and smooth. The cocktail hour trio was so fun and a perfect way for our guests to enjoy music over some drinks. During our dinner service, the band MCed and helped with all the chaos of the night. And last but certainly not least, the reception band (7 piece band) was SO fantastic. I think at one point every single guest was dancing. Curtis was our main contact and our saxophone player. He was one of the best parts of our day. I actually had so many guests complimenting the saxophone player still a few weeks after the wedding. He went the extra mile to ensure we had a fantastic day. Needless to say, I highly recommend Bluewater Kings!

een to together had one thing in common: Bluewater Kings Band. Booking them was an easy process and then pretty hands off until closer to the actual date, which was really nice because you have so many things to think about in the interim. I was nervous about the phone call with Shai a couple of weeks out, because I felt really behind when it came to music and selections, but Shai made me feel totally at ease and jotted down notes of my vague likes and dislikes and reassured me she would take it from there. As I made important dance song selections, she was really easy to email with and I even asked if they could cut out the middle of a song for me and splice it together for my DJed first dance song and they made it happen. Bluewater Kings made our wedding what it was and it was pretty perfect. From the beginning by playing some music as guests walked in to find their seat, the MCing, Djing our first dance songs, to each and every song choice on the dance floor: they just nail it and set the tone for your event. They bring the energy and it is impossible for your guests to not be up dancing. They listened to our likes and dislikes and performed a better set list than I could have ever come up with myself. The icing on the cake was when they played a Taylor Swift song from her new album that I told them I liked as an idea for my "vibe", never expecting to hear it played by my wedding band just 1 month after its release, but it just shows you how they pay attention to things and want to make your night special for you. They customize every wedding for the bride and groom and their personal music preferences and tie it together with their expertise in what gets people up and moving. At the end of the night, I was on stage with my new husband and all the band members singing my heart out. Bluewater Kings Band is EVERYTHING and more. Thank you, thank you, thank you Shai and crew for making my wedding so amazing, truly.

Blue Water Kings is a timeless, fun, and TALENTED band. The options to customize band size, music, and add ons are endless. We did the string trio for our ceremony, 7 piece band for the reception, and had a band member MC the night. What made the experience so special was that my now husband and I were able to choose pretty much every song that was performed. From the live music to the playlist for in between sets, Shay provided multiple song lists to choose from and gave us free range for our special playlist. The band even learned a song we requested that wasn’t on the list! BWK made us feel so special. All night guests kept saying how much they loved the band, and I’m still getting sweet messages to this day about them. If you want EVERYONE at your wedding to have the best time, dancers or not, you have to book Blue Water Kings. There is a package to fit every need. Shay was amazing at communicating with us up until the very day. She answered all my questions timely and helped us when we needed it! Thanks BWK for making our day the best. The only part that's tough is that you aren't able to select which members will play in your band, but my guess is that all of their musicians are incredibly talented. After reviewing their website and very easy-to-find pricing, we were so excited to work with them! Their a la carte options for sound and microphones were also so great. Literally everyone at our wedding raved about our band, and I'm so happy we got the chance to work for them on our perfect day. Our coordinator/POC was stellar at keeping tabs on questions and helping us shape our perfect plan for the day, even when we had to scale back due to life changes. If you are on the fence about a band, get a ticket to see them live and you will book them shortly after. We had a last minute change and he was quick to adapt. They worked really well with our wedding venue, JPS events at regions tower, to make the entire day run smoothly without having to ask me questions. Besides all of the coordination, the band absolutely crushed it! We got married a month ago and are still hearing from our guests about how great they were. The energy the band created throughout the evening was palpable. Both vocalists were terrific, each musician was extremely talented in their own right, the playlist was spot on, and the nine folks who entertained our family and friends helped to create special memories for all in attendance. They were very agreeable to all our song requests and as it was a Jewish wedding , they could play Have Naglia for the Hora vs. a recording. Shai was so easy to work with and was our lead female singer --what a voice. For the wedding, we used a sting trio who were excellent. For the reception, their 10 piece band was the A team. fic vision and music was at the top of my list of importance... and they made that vision come to life! It was classy and formal where it needed to be and FUN where it needed to be! People had no idea it was even the same band from the ceremony to reception because they were able to play every part so perfectly to fit the vibe! Not to mention, I’m shocked at the price point! People keep saying “wow you must have paid so much for that band” and truly it was so reasonable! If I could do it all over again I’d choose Bluewater Kings Band one hundred times over! Thank you!

al announcements when needed, and set up the equipment for a special performance by the groom. They also set up my ipod to play dance music between their sets. Total professionals. Pricey, but well worth it.
